My Husband, My 3 year old daughter & I spent 1 week at the hotel at the end of September. We went All Inclusive. When we booked the hotel it was a bit more expensive than some other all inclusive hotels but as it was 4 star and the hotel was right on the beach we thought we would give it a try & hope it was worth it. We were not disapointed.
The hotel is excellent! First of all, it is very clean. The rooms were cleaned every day & we were given clean towels daily. The maid even folded our PJs and put sweets on the pillow which our little girl liked. The rooms are good as you get a fridge and small cooking area which is great for keeping drinks in if you get thirsty during the night. The hotel give bottles of drinking water too & the maid quite often left us a new bottle if we were running low.
I have been to quite a few 3 star all inclusive hotels in different areas in spain and always thought the food was pretty crap, but it was worth it for the drink. The food in this hotel is better than any other AI I have stayed in. There was always something I could eat & I am pretty fussy. The only thing that I could think of that might be a problem is the breakfast is more catered towards a German taste, like a continental breakfsat rather than an English breakfast. They had bacon but it was not to my taste. However there was always toast & beans, eggs, lots of lovely crusty fresh breads & cold meats that we enjoyed.
The lunches are good & the dinners are excellent. To give you an idea of the dinners. They have the usual meat & fish stews you normally get but every night they had big dishes of different paellas, they had a chef who made fresh meat like chicken breast , steak, etc. They had pastas. They often had a big roast that they would carve for you like turkey or pork. One night we went & it was seafood with lobsters, crabs, prawns etc. My husband must have ate half the contents of the ocean that night!! He loved it. Not my cup of tea but there was plenty other nice things to eat.
You can get snacks at the beach bar during the day. They have pasta, burgers, chips, pizza, fresh fruit & a lovely big fresh salad bar. There are ice lollies for the kids to help them selves too also.
The pool is lovely but it was a bit chilly to get the shoulders under when we were there but there is also an indoor pool that my little girl was in all the time. The hotel is right on the beach which is beautiful & clean & the water is very calm & shallow. Great for kids. We had no problem getting sunbeds at any time but not sure if this would be the same in the middle of summer.
The hotel is really good for familes. They have entertainment every night that the kids love. Not the sort of thing I would watch if I didnt have kids but if she is happy we are happy. It meant we could sit and enjoy a few drinks & the wee one was entertained.
The location is quite good. Not right in the centre of Alcudia but there are a few shops, bars & restaraunts around. We went to a Tex Mex one night that is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Walk out the front door and go to your left. It is on the other side of the road. Its called "Dakota". If you like that sort of food you will enjoy it. Good to take kids too as they have a big bouncy castle & some of the little rides you put a euro in to keep them happy.
Some of the English reviews I read mentioned there was a lot of Germans at the hotel. This is true but I though this was a good thing as there was a nice atmosphere & none of the lager louts & wild children you get at some hotels that are full of English & Scottish people.
I really loved this hotel & will be going back again. Hopefully soon!!
I would definitely recommend...

I would definitely recommend this hotel and resort.
The hotel is family orientated, very clean and friendly. The only down side was the view from our room (a flat roof and brick wall).
Its a great location with direct access to the beach and the hotel has an indoor pool which was a god send as the weather was 50 50 on our stay.
The resort has loads of good quality restaurants and bars offering great quality food. I would recommend Smiths bar for good value.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then this is the place.
PS. The hotel guests were predominately German.
Great Hotel, excellent staff,...

Great Hotel, excellent staff, great kids club, plenty of entertainment for day and night. Excellent food and drink. What can i say it is a family hotel and you cant ask for anymore from Iberostar. The hotel is rigt on the beach and there isnt even a path to the beach, it is hotel then beach. Its amazing. The children loved the kids club and loved the mini disco they put on every night. Watch out for Smily the Dog, all the kids love him better than Thomas the Tank engine. The place is spotless they are always cleaning through the day to ensure the place is spotless. If you go say hello to Windsor, does speak to good english but is very helpful and likes his football. You have to go if you are going for a family holiday. It is an international hotel not an english hotel so you do get all sorts of nationalities.
Enjoy i am sure you will

We had 1 week in this hotel on a half board basis. It was superb. The food was excellent with plenty of variety. The staff was excellent and the view from our room was straight out onto the pool. Couldnt of wished for more.
Straight out onto the beach and all the shops on the doorstep it was an ideal location.
The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. I wouldnt hesitate to return to this hotel. Best holiday i have ever had.

First impressions...............a nice hotel. Dig a bit deeper and you may not be overly impressed. We paid near on £1700 for 2 weeks self catering (what were we thinking). We thought that if we paid that bit extra we could avoid sharing a hotel with the chavs. Well there wasn't any chavs, in fact there wasn't many English at all.
The maids kept leaving our door unlocked after they had been in to clean the room.
The hotel courtyard & pool is surrounded by gardens that you aren't allowed to walk in. This decreases the overall area of the courtyard considerably which affects the space available for sunbeds. There aren't that many sunbeds either and the ones that are available are crammed together so much so that you have difficulty navigating through the maze of sunbeds. Not recommended for the less mobile. You have to get up early too to get a sunbed or pay 6 euros for a sunbed on the beach.
Our room was ok, but the cooker was so slow. It took about 20 mins to boil a pan of water. No toaster either. You had to hire these for about 30 euros.
After 10 days we got so fed up with the hotel we complained directly to the hotel manager.
Here's a tip for all of you.........if you are not satisfied with the the service ask for the LIBRO DE RECLAMACIONES. Under Spanish Law every trader, hotel or whoever has to have one. Its their equivalent of the "complaints book". Thing is, all complaints are sent to the Ministry of Tourism who take them very seriously, so much so that hotels can be punished or even shut down. The manager did not want us to complete the complaint forms and offered us all inclusive for the rest of our stay if we refrained from making a complaint. Not a bad result.
Overall not a hotel recommended for families with young children. Theres nothing for them to do. There is entertainment now and again but its generally aimed at Germans and other nationalities.
This is the best place we have...

This is the best place we have been on holiday so far!
Staying on 1st floor (no ground floors), lift and stair access to all floors, rooms cleaned every day with clean towels, bins emptied, floors brushed and mopped, balcony cleaned, prefect.
Took our 3 year old with us, and really could not believe the entertainment programme, practically ran 12hrs daily 10-10, indoor and outdoor pool, alongside a beach view, outside bar/buffet.
Breakfast was a bit steep in the aparthotel, but we just went downtown. Should also mention quick check in and that we had the most relaxing and entertaining holidays ever.
When you go downtown don't go into the Chinese on the corner -libre-it was dreadful.
Go karting for adults and kids is just over the bridge. Open air restaurants all with great steaks, t-bone on stone oven plate (cook it off yourself) FAB. Views spectacular. Bank machines were hard enough to find.
Don't miss the shows after the kiddies disco every night, they are varied for kids and adults and they were very entertaining.
Hope to stay with Iberostar again, if they are all like this one! Enjoy the most relaxing holiday of your life.

Overall a lovely aparthotel as you might expect from Iberostar, clean, great facilities and super entertainment.
I write this review to forewarn other potential visitors to ensure that they request a pool or sea view. Our room was fine but the balcony overlooked bins that were noisily emptied at around 3am at least once per week.
Also the room was situated toward the front right of the hotel (as you stand in front looking at the hotel) and this was also over the hotel bar - which itself didn’t cause much disturbance but the constant dumping of empty bottles in therefore mentioned bins was a bit of a pain in the butt! Amazingly none of this disturbed my children or my husband and so a super holiday was had.
