Hotel Description:
The Club Stella Maris is a family holiday complex with plenty of activities on offer. The complex is only 300 metres from the beach and just 3 miles to the lively resort of San Antonio
We booked independently to stay at Club Stella Maris.
I thought this was an absolutely fantastic holiday with only one downside, so will give you the bad news first!
There were only a very few English people staying at this complex. None of the English tour operators go here. So I would say if that doesn't bother you then great, or if you would prefer to go in a large group that would be better.
We met an English guy with his daughter on our 4th day and hung around with him. Our daughter did not want to go to the kids club as the German kids were trying to be friendly, but she could not understand them!
That said, all the announcements were also made in English and the animation team spoke very good English. Apart from the above small detail, this was an absolutely wonderful holiday.
The accommodation is set in small buildings of 8 rooms so it was very quiet which was lovely. It is set on a hill so ask for a room near the amenities. I had a bad knee at the time so our room was right by the pool.
Room was large and clean with a little outside seating area. There was a fridge in the room which was a nice touch as we took our kettle. Also a digital alarm clock in the room which was great (although we never used it!)
Food was fab, plenty of choices and replenished quickly. Staff were helpful and courteous. All Inclusive option was great value for money.
Animation team were brilliant, enthusiastic, and friendly. A couple of nights a week there were professional shows and the animation team did the rest. Disco in purpose built area was also good.
I would give this 9.5/10 and if there were a few more English peeps there it would have been better for our daughter but all in all this was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend. Excellent value for money as well.
