Hotel Description:

The Melia Jardines del Teide is built on the slope of a hill, overlooking the Playa del Duque beach and offering a wonderful view over Costa Adeje. Playa del Duque is just 1,200 meters away, Playa de Las Americas beach about 4 km. The shopping district is nearby and the city centre of Southern Tenerife is 5 km away. Distributed in two buildings separated by a little square, the hotel provides 300 rooms, consisting of 258 double rooms and 42 Junior Suites (with separate bedroom). All of the rooms have a full bathroom with hair-dryer, air-conditioning, balcony or terrace, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, minibar and safe (with supplementary charge).

Advice: This is a great place for a relaxing, holiday, not too far from the biz of the bigger resorts.

Activities: Trip to Mount Teide, Cattamarran sail for 4.5 hours sightseeing and my first ever Submarine dive.

Good for: Beach
