The location is brilliant ! A short walk to the rocky beaches and a bus journey to the sandy beaches. The shops, bars, resturants etc are also very near by which was great. Me and my girlfriend went in october and the pool was closed which was a bit of a dissapointment and the hotel was quite dark and dingey and all the decor was of very basic if not poor quality. We had bed and breakfast and found the continental breakfast to be very basic juice and cerial etc but thats ok if you want to go out any way.
The staff were very helpful and friendly but my conclusion is - Malta/Buggiba - go there its brilliant and I would go there again and again !
The hotel Carolina - I would give it a miss unless you really dont want to spend much time in the hotel at all : )
