Elif Hotel

4th time to Icmeler and a different hotel each time.
The Elif is perfectly located for the beach and the main restaurants and bars. Very big rooms and lovely views. Really clean.
There is no fridge but the air conditioning is included in the price.
There is a nice pool area however, we spent all our time on the jetty at 'Liberty Bar' at the end of the promenade by the harbour.
The restaurant at The Elif is nice, staff are brilliant, food is great and prices are very good. (Especially the set menus) If they have eought interest, the put on a Turkish night which is well worth going to.
The one problem with this hotel is there is no lift. Luckily enough, there are only 4 floors so not much of a climb but for the less able, it would probably be better to stay somewhere else.
I will continue going to Icmeler as I think it is a brilliant resort and has something for everyone. If you like a quiteish holiday then you can take yourself off and find a nice little bar off of the main roads or if you want a bit of a wild time then you ears will lead you to the action.
My favorite restaurants: Coco Beach - on the promenade, Harry Steakhouse - on the main road by the cash machines, Liberty - on the promenade at the harbour end, Waterfall - on the main road over on the left of the resort, Harmony - Next to Liberty (Stella show is a must)
My favorite hotels in order of preferance: 1. Mar Bas 2. Dilhan 3. Elif 4. Golmar
We booked independantly, the transfers and hotel with a company called Icmeler Online. We found these brilliant. Because they are a smaller company the transfer time was 1.40mins (we had a mini bus to ourselves). When we went with Thomas Cook it took us 3hrs! They don't hastle you to go on excursions and they don't interupt your holiday with silly welocme meetings. Also, you only ever pay a deposit in this country and the balance is due when you get to resort. Gives you moe time to save and the interest stays in your pocket!
We booked flights with the cheapest company we could find. Icmeler Online will find you flights aswell if you want.

weve just returned from a weeks stay at elif hotel and havent got a bad word to say. The staff there are the most friendly people and happy to help at any time rooms kept very clean the turkish night was great. just like to say big thanks to all the staff robbie hussaine sergio eurkcell for making our holiday

Have just returned from a two week stay at the Elif hotel. The Hotel is situated in a prime location for beach lovers. Each morning the beach lads Segio and Ridvan collect your towels and set them out on the beach beds opposite the hotel, this is complete heaven as the beds and umbrellas are all free!!!! . The lads then spent the day waiting on the Elif customers, fetching ice cool glasses for the beers, bar meals and finally washing your feet with clean water when you return to your sun beds from the wonderfull warm sea.
The hotel and bar staff are all excellent, Hussain and Robbie cater for your every need and the turkish night is not to be missed, fun and laughter for all a really good night .
The hotel rooms are very clean and the free air conditioning is wonderfull. All rooms have views across the beach and surrounding mountains. The maids are the best i've ever known and the towels are specialy displayed with flowers each day.
There are lots of good places to eat, and the Angel restruant just by the hotel has consistant good food. Sammy makes everyone feel special. I will certainly return to this hotel as soon as possible. Well worth a visit.

Myself and my husband and friends visited the elif hotel in June 2008 and really enjoyed our stay, the staff were fantstic and very helpful and rooms where cleaned every day. You are local to all nightlife and resturants, but food in the hotel was fantastic with plenty of choice. There was plenty of entertainment provided in the hotel for guests to join in and to keep you all entertained in the day.
Would definitaly recommend this hotel and are due to revisit next year.

jusy returned from a fantastic two week holiday at the Elif hotel.the hotel staff are excellent nothing is too much trouble for them and they work very hard to keep the guests happy.the resturant attatched to the Elif is under seperate management but its team there work so hard to make everyones holiday the best they have ever had. Well done to Robbie Jnr Robbie and Hussain and the rest of the bar staff and waiters.
the last mention has to go to the beach boys, Sergio and Ridvan who work very hard all day so that we can be lazy on the beach nothing is too much trouble for them. well done too you all keep up the good work we will definatley return to the Elif. thanks for making our holiday.

The wife and myself have just returned from the Elif Hotel after a weeks stay. As previously stated the rooms are basic but adequate. As for the rest of the experience I could not praise the staff enough. Robbie, Junior Robbie, Hussain and the beach boy Sergio come in for special praise they made the holiday very memorable without being pushy. The pool area is well run and maintained and we had no problem with sunbeds even though we are not part of the put your towel on early brigade. The Turkish Night was well worth the effort some fun for all ages. When we return to Turkey the Elif Hotel will certainly be on our list of possibilities. Thanks to everyone involved.

The Elif Hotel is one the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The rooms are tended to everyday by the maid and changes towels and bedding whenever you want the changed. The maid also makes the towels extra special by making boats and fans with flowers on for that extra special touch. All bathroom facilities are well tended to and are kept clean as the maid cleans the bathroom every day too. The Hotel has beautiful views of the sea and beach and the reasonable size balcony allows you to sit and look and the most beautiful view you will ever see. A lovely beach and blue sea surrounded by mountains it really is spectacular. The reception staff are all really friendly and very accommodating. The staff are also willing to help you out with anything from have money changed to the small things such as moving you to room with a view.
Bar
The Elif bar is such a great place it accommodates everyone. It can be the quite bar for a relaxing drink or it can become the bar for a good dance and drink depending on what you want. The bar staff are really the most friendly and helpful people you will ever meet. The staff are always helpful taking your order for food and drink whenever you want and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the bar is lovely from a mid afternoon snack to a night time meal it is always really nice well cooked well presented food. The Thursday Turkish Night is one to be seen as the staff dress in traditional clothing and have Turkish food, dances and even have a camel come which will take up the road and back or just pose for a photo It’s a really good night. The staff also stay awake with you until you’re ready to go to bed which can sometimes be half past five gone.
All in all the Elif Hotel and bar is absolutely fantastic and is well worth a stay. You’re guaranteed a fantastic holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at the Elif, Although very basic, we had a great holiday thanks to the very friendly staff from our cleaner to all the waiters nothing was too much trouble , we loved it so much we our going back in August , great location with stunning views. When we were there in June the new owners had just taken over and have plans to modernise the hotel. We can't wait to return in August to see Husseyn, Robbie , Al, and the rest of the staff. The Elif has it's own part of the beach which is the nicest part. with free unbrellas/tables and you also have your very own beach boy Sergio! Who will get all your food,drinks,ice cream from the hotel,he looked after us very well and we loved his company. Icemeler is a very pretty place with it's own harbour and lot's of nice places to eat along the promanade, Our favourite place to eat was Mr Cook which was opposite the Elif. really nice friendly people and lot's of great food .

An excellent hotel and staff. Location second to none - infact everything associated with the hotel couldn't be faulted.
The service from the reception boys and the waiters, not forgetting Sergio, also couldn't be faulted.
Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a laid back holiday

My wife and I Stayed at the elif hotel in July this year for one week,
The rooms were very basic but the pool area and staff were second to none,
Especially the staff who looked after us throughout our entire stay,
we arrived as strangers and left as friends,
We would give the hotel a 3 star rating and the staff a definate 5 we hope to
return next year
