Quintasol Apartments

I thought quintasol was very good. The rooms were cleaned once a week and fresh towels were given- a whole load to be precise even though there was only the two of us!!. The apartment is right on the beach so the views are brilliant. You get all the cooking utensils so the only thing you need to buy is the food. Overall a basic clean good apartment and definitely value for money. For all those people who say that the owners don't speak much english so they are not very helpful- get a phrasebook or learn spanish!!

The rooms were basic but had everything you needed and if it hadn't we just asked and they got it for us. We were there for 11 days the room was cleaned staff were very nice and helpful.We had a 5yr old with us she enjoyed it as much as we did.For the money we paid you would not get any better. We had booked the holiday then I read the reviews and I was very worried, people are so fussy.We are defo going back there this year it's one of the best holidays we have had,being a coach driver I have stayed all over europe and it is one of the best apartments I have stayed in.If you want 5 star then it's not for you.We didn't want to come home and can't wait till August 2009 to go back there.It's right on the beach,pool and surrounding area was cleaned at 6am everyday.

we had very basic room, had to buy item to be able to do basic cookin, we had 2 rooms in our party and both room wasnt cleaned once in the whole time(9 days) we was there. we wasnt even given clean towels or bedding but we did ask for some but they wasnt happy or helpfull at all.. pool had a car mat in it for at least 3 days and there was tadpolls kind of things living in the pool. they said they clean it every day but they didnt.. not suitable for pushchair... our party of 6was bitten from mozi's upto 19 times each..

This was our first family holiday with our baby and toddler. I would certainly not recommend our tour operator Low Cost Beds who were absolutly awful right from the start of booking. Our transfer coach dropped us off miles away from our apartment with our 2 babies in buggies and all our luggage we were expected to make it across a train track! although there is a subway but quite some distance. Our tour operaters failed to inform the accomadion of our booking so they were not even expecting us! I think the apartments are not suited for people with young children who cant/wont walk far, but fine no lifts so lots of stairs to get to your room, only 1 decent cot so you have to hope no-one else is using it or you will get the broken dirty old one. Trains pass right outside but not too noisy can feel very cold in room at night. Beds a little uncomfortable but room is basic and appears clean (i clean everything myself before i use it). If you are bottle feeding its worth bringing own kettle as theirs very small. Reception lady is helpful. overall area is a nice place, beach and resturants good. Found some local people unfriendly due to our skin colour!

EXCELLENT! we went early october weather was great. £220 for me and my partner for 7 nights couldnt ask for any thing more. room was clean, towels changed daily, friendly staff although didnt speak english, not that matters! area around pool could do with tidying up but all guests staying same time didnt seem bothered either. beach bar staff friendly. although the apartments are old and tired, excellent location right on the beach great views! train line didnt bother us at all. great hol for price we paid!

Well my husband and I have stayed here 3 times now. We went sept 2006 with family 8 of us.
These apartments are great for a base. Right on the beach. No fault with the rooms at all. If we needed any thing we just asked at reception and got it.
Only had breakfast in apartments so no great need for the kitchen. Cheap restaurants plenty to choose from.

Well we didn’t really spend much time in the quintasol apartments as we were in the studio room and there wasn’t much space due to the ceiling coming down low to the floor, plus the staff there were very poor at English.
However the holiday itself was amazing.
We spent most of our time in the hotel reymar swimming pool in the daytime. It had a large, clean swimming pool, excellent bar service and all the staff were very friendly.
In the nights we spent most of our time in the Waikiki bar where it was only 5 euros for a litre of cocktail. The bar had brilliant music and atmosphere and the bar staff were very friendly and were a laugh to be around.
The beach opposite the quintasol was a shingle beach and the sea had a strong current, but was lovely to go on day and night.
I would defiantly go back to malgrat de mar, but I would stay in different apartments unless the quintasol was dirt cheap! Plus I would never book through jetline travel again as they were useless during our holiday and refused to reply to our phone calls due to lack of description about apartments.

This 1* apartment should be rated as a minus 4*. It was dirty, the shower was broke, lights that where broke. There were ants in the room, there is also a train track that runs right down the side of apartment, which shook our room every 20 minutes all day until about 2am.
Apartment staff where very ignorant and could not speak English. My family and I was so looking forward to our holiday and now we wished we had never gone.
Malgrat is a nice place though, (not much for children). But ideal for young groups of party goers that like to party all night, and make loads of noise.
