Altamarena Hotel Reviews
The hotel faces directly onto the main road, which is fairly quiet, but they normally charge a lot more for a poolside (& sea side) room. We had one of these but couldn’t see the sea from it.
The room cleanliness & condition was excellent.
The food was excellent with lots of choice.
We were only Brits staying but had no trouble with reserved sun beds etc; in fact all the other guests seemed to be friendly & well mannered.
The evening entertainments were very low key, but we were able to visit other hotels in the area for their shows. This could be awkward if you are all inclusive.
This is a very nice part of Fuerteventura, pity the Germans got here first.
A note for drivers-
Arriving from the airport you have to go past the hotel quite a way before you can turn back, because of the dual carriageway. Then at the Robinson Club turn in & take what looks like a footpath, running parallel with the road. This provides an unloading spot, with its own gate & ramp. Then you need to drive back to the other side of the road for parking, which is plentiful.
