amazing hotel
from merionvw
We have always avoided all-inclusive but this has changed our mind forever. Everything exceeded our expectations. We have travelled worldwide for business and pleasure and the Xanadu is poetry in motion. Customer relations are the best I have ever encountered. Nothing is too much trouble - they even encourage you to come to them. Hotel is spotlessly clean - even beach toilets. Rooms spotless too. Fabulous location, great views, 3 pools - of which the secret garden is the best if you like peace - but with its own poolside bar - and sunbeds with adjustable sun hoods! Staff were excellent even at our 3 a.m. arrival. All inclusive meant what it said - even 24 hour room service and free laundry, champagne, 5 superb theme restaurants - all like having a really really good meal out - with as many courses as you want (we stuck to only 4!) etc. etc. etc. Go nowhere else!
worth a visit

Fantastic staff, wonderful food and beautiful grounds are a few of the delights that make this a hotel worth visiting. You get lots of little extras from this hotel, pool towels, dressing gowns and slippers and waiters that say "would you like one more"
exceptional value

I went to this hotel on my own with 4 children age 9, 11, 14 and 15. We all liked the hotel. The staff were very friendly. There were lots of activities. The children’s club was excellent. For us, the ten pin Bowling Alley was great, as it was something we could do altogether. The food was very good, except the children ate chocolate ice cream at least three times a day! The indoor pool is heated and there’s a fresh juice bar next to it, where they squeeze juice to order. Of course the outdoor pool was freezing in April. The massages are no longer included and are not cheap, but the people who had them recommended them. Most of the people in the hotel were golfers and they were all very happy with the golf in the area and with the hotel. Apart from golf there is nothing outside the hotel. I thought the hotel was exceptional value - room service was included - the orange juice throughout the hotel was excellent, fresh squeezed, and the alcoholic drinks were international brands. We all had a great holiday and I left with nothing to pay.
Great Hotel

I work in the travel industry and have travelled quite a lot and I can say that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. In some all inclusive hotels the food can be average, but this is not the case at the Xanadu where the food is excellant. It is obvious that no expense has been spared at the hotel and we had a wonderful stay. The fact that international brand drinks are included means that the drinks are of a high standard. The service is friendly, but sometimes a bit slow. The hotel has a good beach and plenty of facilities. Overall an excellant hotel.
Outstanding in everything

From the moment we arrived for a weeks stay with our grandchildren, 4yrs. and 6yrs., we were made to feel welcome. The rooms were beautifully appointed and were kept spotlessly clean. The whole complex was outstanding and the facilities were second to none, notwithstanding the quality and variety of the food available. Special mention should be made of the Mini Club and it's staff whose devotion to duty and kidness made the week for our grandchildren something special. The friendliness of all the staff to the children was something my wife and I rarely experiance and certainly enabled our grandchildren and us to have a most wonderful time. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only disappointment was not having the time to enjoy the various restaurants available, however that will have to wait until our next visit.

from the moment we arrived at the airport we were shown to our private taxi. Once at the hotel we were greeted with a glass of champagne and our luggage was taken to uor room. We found everything at the hotel far more superior than other 5* hotels we have stayed in. from things like decor and cleanliness in rooms and the hotel its self . activites through the day were very good plenty going on if you didn t want to take part. food in the main resturant very good but one tip is if you don't go in at 7pm prompt you may struggle finding a table so have another drink and go in at 8pm lunch time dining outside very enjoyable in main resturant but also a choice of other eating venues eg. beach bar kebabs pizzas burgers in other outside bar. evening entertainment was excellent every night. make sure you take a trip down to the health suite to have a back massage it was really relaxing and enjoyable, but make sure you book at 8am the day before to beat the germans. main pool a little chilly the sea was warmer and the water slides were warm too! really an excellent and enjoyable holiday will be booking again !
best holiday ever!

we went to the xanadu for my sisters wedding and we couldn't fault the 1st class service we received from the moment we arrived. The staff are fantastic, the hotel is very clean, the choice and quality of food is out of this world and the shows are fantastic.our children loved the kids club, childrens pool and endless ice creams! they were never board and made to feel very welcome. On my daughters birthday they made her a cake and put balloons and a present in our room. the wedding itself was every bit the fairy tale they were hoping for.we would love to return.
The best hotel in Belek
from lesley150
We have just returned from a stay at the Xanadu Hotel and i would find it very difficult to find fault with any aspect of our stay. From the fantastic welcome of a cold drink and your bags taken from you straight away this is a true 5* resort. Starting with our room, it was clean, large and very comfortable. We stayed in a Bungalow room which is located to the side of the main hotel. I would recommend these rooms over those in the hotel as they are quite quiet and set in their own grounds. The walk from here to the main hotel is about 2 minutes. However, we had one of the 3 swimming pools literally just around the corner from our room with the Secret Garden bar there as well. Rooms have got all the main amenities and they fill up your mini bar daily with cola, water, juice and beer. Whatever you are watching on the TV also comes through speakers in your bathroom which is great! The swimming pool near the bungalows is quiet and ideal for just relaxing, while the 2 pools near the main building are used for any pool games that are offered during the day and have music around them. There are bars near each. The waterslide is a must if you are into that kind of thing and if not, take a walk to the top anyway as you can get some great photos from here of the resort. If you would like to try the watersports then the staff on the beach will be very pleased to help. They offer parasailing and jet skis etc for an extra cost as well as the sports included such as windsurfing and waterski-ing. The food on offer in the main buffet restaurant is extremely good and i would highly recommend the Mexican Restaurant for something different. Check the menu board outside the restaurants before you book though as we were a bit disappointed with the menu at the Chinese. This was our fault though as we didn't check it to see if the food was to our liking first. However, we had no problem getting reservations at any a la carte restaurant during our stay. The other parts of the ultra all inclusive are great as well. One tip with the free laundry service is not to hand anything in on a saturday as you will not get it back until monday afternoon as they do not work sunday. Another tip with regard to the free massage is that you have to ring Guest Services at 8am SHARP the day before otherwise you will not be able to get in. We only managed to find a space once during 7 days. When we did get in though it was very professional - if not a little painful!! Try the Turkish Bath while you are there for a taste of the real Turkey. Outside the hotel there is a bus stop for the Dolmus into Belek centre. It costs 1 Lira and takes about 15 mins. The market on saturday is good for a bargain but just be aware that you will get charged more for everything than you would at any other resort centre. If it is a taste of real Turkey you are looking for then take a taxi to Antalya where you will find a good turkish bazaar. A return taxi from the hotel is 45 Euros ( 75 Lira). Talking of Euros, you will find everything outside the resort is priced in Euros so i would recommed you get these instead of Lira. we took Lira and had to convert everything twice - from Euro to Lira to Sterling! The staff at all the bars are very friendly and the bars offer loads of international brand drinks as well as lovely cocktails. The Irish bar is open 24 hours as well in case you fancy a late one. Don't miss the entertainment in the Ampitheatre. We found the Circus show and the Black and White show to be very entertaining. I could talk about the Xanadu all day as it really is that good. If i had to find a fault it would be that there is not a great deal of meal options for vegatarians and Belek itself is very touristy rather than Turkish. I would not hesitate to go back to the Xanadu and hope this info helps you decide to go there too!
This is the place to get married abroad!!
from katy&Mark
We got married at the Xanadu on the 22nd September 2005. We were the 3rd couple to get married here and it was absolutely amazing. They could not have done any more for us. We travelled with Thomas Cook and the whole process from start to finish was smooth and efficient. Obtaining the documents required was not a massive strain and the wedding co-ordinator does everything for you. Th ceremony took place at 6:30 in the evening which was the best time to get married as it would have been far too hot during the day. We chose the 'platform' in the middle of the pool. The hotel decorated it beautifully with a red carpet, flowers and there was a live band playing. The whole hotel turned out to watch us, which added to the wonderful atmosphere. The wedding co-ordinator at the hotel arranged everything and included a few surprises which I wont mention as it would spoil it for anyone else getting married there! All in all it was an absolutely magical day. The Xanadu is the perfect setting for your wedding day and we would not have chosen anywhere else for our special day. Our photos are simply beautiful and it is a day we will remember forever. As for the rest of the holiday- what can we say. Words do not do this hotel justice. The food every night was fantastic and there is so much choice you need a bigger plate! The bars and entertainment are all amazing. The Xanadu bar is perfect for lunchtime snacks as they serve everything from burgers to pizzas to salads. The beach is beautiful and the doner kebabs there are to die for. The views from the beach are breath-taking, and we are so glad that most people disregard Turkey as a holiday destination, as this is the best kept secret on the mediterrenean coast!! We would not hesitate to book here again, and that is the first time we have ever said that! The only issue with the Xanadu is that every hotel we ever visit will be compared to it!
Dare you to find anywhere better!!!!

My boyfriend and I spent 2 weeks here is July and just had the best time ever. The service here is truly unbelieveable. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a glass of champagne and once you have checked in, a porter will deliver you bags to your room which allows you to have a scout around before unpacking your belongings. Out first stop at 3.15am was the 24 hour Irish bar which was still bustling. After a late flight, all we wanted to do was unwind with a drink and a snack. This bar serves great food 24x7 which was heaven for us. The rooms are amazing and if you are lucky enough, as we were, to have a room overlooking the main pool area and restaurants, then you are in for a treat. All rooms have a partial sea-view but the rooms facing out to sea, over-looking the pool are fantastic. Everyone there from the housekeepers, waiters to the entertainment staff are so friendly and always seem that no task is too much trouble. The food is also out of this world. We have been to many all inclusive resorts around the world and normally the buffet leaves a lot to be desired, with the a la carte options being the best value. This isn't the case here. Although the many a la carte restaurants offer amazing food, this is nothing compared to the buffet. The choice is mind blowing and mouth watering. Each night they have a different outdoors buffet/barbecue that leaves you rubbing your stomach in pain where you've eaten too much. i don't know how they manage to maintain such a high standard day in day out. Just little things make an awful difference. Such as the waiters remembering what your normal drink preference is and the sun-lounges each having their own canopy's to save fiddling with those stupid umbrellas. They even have they're own big water slide. On to the evening entertainment now. Each night, a different show is put on by the entertainment team. No show is repeated in a 2 week period which means each night will offer you something different. Now these are no ordinary shows. These are really professional and each of the performers are professional dancers. From the costumes to make-up to the performance, everything is fantastic and a pleasure to watch. As you can tell, we've had an amazing time and although i have always said i would never visit the same place twice due to the amount of other places i would like to visit, i am already planning on going back next year. I would recommend this place to anyway like a shot.

This was our firs visit to Turkey last year. This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were as advertised in the brochures. The hotel complex was situated 5 mins away from the beach. There was so much choice regarding where you wanted to eat each day, you were spoilt... more
