This was our firs visit to Turkey last year. This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were as advertised in the brochures. The hotel complex was situated 5 mins away from the beach. There was so much choice regarding where you wanted to eat each day, you were spoilt for choice. The food was excellent, there were different restuarants to go in as long as you booked the previous day, ie Chinese, Russian, Italian etc. The entertainment for both adults and children was superb. The hotel has a theatre which has one show per evening with entertainment for all the family. If you wished to go out for a quiet drink there was a choice of different bars. This holiday suits all ages. There is a disco for teenagers each evening (this is held in the basement and does not disturb anyone staying at the hotel) an Irish bar open 24/7 which has friendly staff which who will serve you food at almost any time of the day or evening. They also hold a baraque and a market once a fortnight where you can buy almost anything. The staff were so nice and friendly, the rooms were so clean and they also did your washing and ironing for free. How bad's that. We enjoyed this holiday so much we have booked to go back this year.

  • Advice: The town is lively especially in the evenings, many shops and a market held there every Saturday
  • Activities: Did not venture out of the complex, as there was too much going on there
  • Good For: Beach
  • Good For: Ski

We visited Xanadu in May this year....

We visited Xanadu in May this year. We booked two rooms for 4 adults and we had our 7 month old baby as well. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed.
We celebrated both couples’s anniversaries whilst we were there. The Management had arranged a bouquet of flowers, champagne and chocolate cake when we arrived, with balloons on the bed!
The food was excellent in all the restaurants and the facilities for the baby were the best I have ever come across. In the restaurant there were highchairs and a separate section for toddlers to eat with their food at their eye level to see and take. The hotel provided cereal and milk and water to make up baby breakfasts and toddler breakfasts from Nestle exactly what we use at home. There were baby changing stations doted about the hotel grounds providing wipes etc. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I have never been anywhere quite like it.
If you get the chance take a taxi to Belek when the market is on. Excellent for Paul Frank monkey t-shirts, Louis Vuitton bags and Versace bath towels! Make sure you take an empty bag to take everything home. It’s really cheap in the taxi and they will pick you up where they dropped you at a time to suit you both. If you don't thoroughly enjoy this hotel then there is something wrong with you.

2006 was our second year at Xanadu....

2006 was our second year at Xanadu. We came back because we wanted to share the resort with the rest of our family. They were all completely taken in by it. The staff are so friendly and the food is fabulous too, coupled with the overall relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the complete resort.
The children loved the shows and the holiday club staff too. The resort feels secure and premium. The overall holiday experience makes for an incredibly relaxing time - with the opportunity to do more adventurous activities if you feel the need.
We have struggled to find anything else this good and are consequently returning again this year. Holidays are such an important part of life - and whilst it's good to have a new adventures it's so important to feel confident in the knowledge that you are going to a resort that the whole family enjoys. I can't praise Xanadu enough for their all round hospitality.
We look forward to returning again.

I was lucky enough to win a holiday to Xanadu through work along with twelve other colleagues and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The hotel is amazing!! There was a great choice of food at the different restaurants, the entertainment in the amphitheatre is definitely worth watching and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, we had a ball!! There is a choice of three pools and the sea only a few minutes walk, what more can you ask for!! Will definitely be visiting again in the future.
Watch out for the Xanadu dance in the pool at mid-day !!!!

A lot of people don't like the sound...

A lot of people don't like the sound of a holiday in Turkey, we have a very busy life with two young children and this haven of peace was perfect for us when the grandparents offered us a week in the sun child free.
We booked for a week and one day after our arrival I was admitted to hospital with peritonitis, the hotel laid one transfers back and forward every day for my partner to visit me in Hospital for the whole two weeks and even provided him with fruit hampers and gifts for me. Their on site nurse and doctor were fantastic & their quick thinking probably saved my life. Finally we managed to spend two days in this wonderful resort (albeit from a wheelchair for me) but I saw how friendly, quiet and perfect this place was. Beautiful surrounding, helpful staff, spoilt for choice with all amenities. Although we have bad memories of our planned dream holiday we have booked again to go back in Sept 06.
The resort is 10 times better in real life then any picture could portray. The standards are extremely high and you don’t want for anything, however if you are looking for more excitement you will be able to get this here too, the complex is so large and hardly seems full or busy but there is so much to do, daily massages, shows, several pools, day trips etc, etc, etc. 10/10 - highly recommended. 5 ½ weeks and counting – can’t wait!

Fantastic hotel, mini bar and all...

Fantastic hotel, mini bar and all laundry included in price which I didn't know until the day we left (!) Pools great, food great, beach great, weather great.
We arranged through alternative Turkey private transfers at about £35 each return and a lovely blacked out "people carrier" with leather interior, minibar, etc was waiting to pick just us up! Worth the extra money not to get on the cattle bus!
Staff really lovely, one of the items on the dessert buffet one day was a chocolate fountain. Well worth the £650 we paid each for 7 days. We were hard pushed to spend anything - just a daily newspaper.

We are extremely surprised that there...

We are extremely surprised that there is not already a review of this 5* hotel on here. This is a High Class All inclusive programme and is absolutely amazing.
What a shame that most people disregard Turkey for their holiday destination. This hotel includes watersports, exceptional food catering for every taste (even those that only want English food and dare'nt open up to other cultures), International brands for drinks and cocktails, laundry service, a la carte restaurants, minibar in the room all as part of the AI programme. We had the best holiday and have already booked to go back next year. If you want a real all-inclusive then put your hand in your pocket a little deeper and book this hotel.
It is located on the beautiful beach, with swimming pools that are lively, quiet and in-between! The staff are all friendly, professional and will do anything for you. There is even a waterslide there which provided many a laugh for us!! People from all over Europe stay at this hotel and there are many regulars that return year after year. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone who isn’t after a late deal and wanting something for nothing.
