Imperial Hotel Reviews
" The Hotel is situated on The Lambi... "
Submitted By: Mr Tony Ainsworth
The Hotel is situated on The Lambi side of town in Amerikis Street, about a 10 minute walk from the harbour and about 8 minutes from Kos Town beach. The Imperial is a very friendly hotel and it has a very nice pool area.
The rooms are clean and all have refrigerators. The reception is a pleasant area to sit and read, and it also houses the breakfast area. The hotel is always spotless. It has a late bar and there is always a good atmosphere created by Anthony the son-in-law of the owners. It is a family run hotel, I can't remember the parents names but their daughter who has just got married, is called Irene. It is featured in one of the Thomas Cook Holiday Brochures, I can't remember which one.
There is a very good restaurant just across the road from the Imperial and it is called THE CARAVAN Restaurant owned by a guy by the name of Hassan, it is fantastic.

as our flight was not until 12.45pm we paid 20 euros for the room for the extra day.
the rooms were cleaned every day, the service was exceptional, the breakfast was cerial, a choice of bread or bread rolls, cheese ham, boiled eggs, cake & bistcuits. tea or coffee & orange juice.
the meals at the pool bar were realy good and very cheap much to our surprise.
I would reccomendthe Imperial to anyone, the guest were either English or Dutch but all joined in together on a monday night for a sing song. the only thing i would say is if you like to have a good night's sleep opt for rooms by the pool as the rooms at the front are on a mail road and the bin men turn up at 4am not to mention numerous bikes and holiday makers returning to the hotel it can get noisey for light sleepers.
other than that the Hotel is a friendly family run business.
