My partner and I stayed at this place for 2 weeks big mistake on driving from the airport all you saw was Construction of Buildings going on everywhere.
Driving through Hurghada I thought to myself we must be in the wrong place every second shop was closed and empty, streets were filthy when we stopped outside the hotel I said to my partner we Cannot be staying here but we were. There was some sort of animals head in the street and there were Rats all around it eating it.Dirty Needles on the pavements rubbish everywhere some of the rubbish was piled about 3 feet high.
It took the person on the reception nearly half an hour to book us in there was only me and my partner and another couple who got off the bus to stay there.
The person who took our bags up to the room said we have a Beautiful Room it was more like a prison cell than a hotel room. The fridge in the room was about 10 years old and full of rust,We went down to the so called Restuarant yeah right it is more like a Dinner Hall that you used to get in school Food was terrible, staff were ignorant and not very helpful at all we did not find out until the 2nd week that we were entitled to 2 bottles of water a day and that was from the other couple who checked in the same time as us,Member of staff told us we had to buy bottles of water from the Mini Market which opened when the person who ran it felt like it..
During the week it was okay lying at the pool but at the weekend people came roung trying to get you to go on Safari's and Island Tours we told them we would think about those and get in contact to arrange a Safari or Island tour as we were there for 2 weeks one person would just not take No for an answer 5 times in the one day he would come up to us trying to get us to go on a Safari he even filled out the form for it with our name and room
number on it must have got them from reception.Guest Relation person was a waste of time he was supposed to book a table at Chez Pascal for us he did not bother we ended up doing it ourselves. As the food at hotel was really terrible our second week was spent eating at the Restuarant we spent between £400/£500 eating there Food was Brilliant,The waiter and the Chef were really Friendly and welcoming Mahmoud the waiter actually went out and Bought us a Present and offered to open the restuarant the afternoon before we were due to leave.
There was no Rep to complain to about the hotel so my partner will be writing to the tour operator.I would not Reccomend this place to anyone.
