Submitted By: Ms J LindsayThe pool was really nice, but if you didnt have a sunbed reserved by 9.30 there was no chance of getting one!
Costa Adeje a great place and would go back, but not to this hotel. Not impressed with Cosmos Reps either!.

Submitted By: Miss N & D TaylorWhen we arrived we were greeted with cava (which was nice as we wanted to start our holiday as soon as possible!), as it was late at night we wanted to head straight out.
We soon realised we werent as near to Veronicas as we thought we were, which was slightly annoying, however it was only about a 15-20 minute walk, however it was a very lonely road with very few bars until you got to the beach front, so be careful!.
Veronicas was really good! Price wise, we would pay 5E each and get 2 vodka and mixers and a bottle of shots between us! All bars offered different music, theres always something to suit everyone, O'neills was a good night! Tramps and Rags, bit of a scary experience outside of there when its closing time, it can get a little, violent now and again but its fine if you just walk past and keep yourself to yourself.
The food in the hotel was OK, i wouldnt say it was amazing, i was sick on my third night which i believe was because of the food.
The pool area was lovely, there was no problem in finding a lounger to catch the raise.
The hotel was situated across the road from a supermarket which was convenient.
The rooms were very basic, however very clean, we would get fresh towels every day. There was a camera pointing to our balcony from the hotel which we were a little uncomfortable with so we decided to ask reception and enquire about it, they did what you would expect them to do really, they shrugged us off and fobbed us off with a pithetic excuse, but it was fine as we managed to prod it until it turned away from our balcony!
The situation of the hotel was ok for families and couples as it wasnt in a very lively area, which didnt really appeal to us, but after hearing about some of the hotels by veronicas we were slightly relived to be staying in such a nice hotel.
I would really recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in Tenerife and wants to be away from the party scene as it was in good walking distance of the beach too. Staff are friendly and helpful and the whole hotel was really well furbished. We felt this was abit of a family hotel and felt slightly out of place when we used to roll in at 6 in the morning and recieve discusted looks of the OAP's, (which were all European, you will be lucky to find any English in this hotel) therefore we dont think we would stay here again but it was a lovely stay but i dont recommend it to the young and lively!
Also... The weather was fantastic, i got a mint tan!!... it was atleast 30 everyday!

Submitted By: Miss B CousinsWhere do it start... the food was brilliant lots of variety plus with themed night once a week (Spanish, Mexican).
The rooms- Were the perfect size for two adults, it can fit up to 3 people in one room but might be a tight squeeze therefore we got two separate rooms!!
The entertainment- This was really good most nights, with the entertainment team putting on shows some nights which were better than some of the professional acts.
The pool- The pools were a good size, however the only downside is that you are not aloud any inflatable’s or balls in the pool and they are quite strict on this, therefore young kids can get bored!!
All in all the holiday was very very good and would i would definitely go back there again.

Submitted By: Miss S MappWe were greeted by very friendly reception staff who offered a glass of cava/orange as we completed the registration forms. We were allocated room 811 (which was a problem as I cannot use lifts) this was changed immediately without any problem. We were then given a room on the second floor right in the middle of the reception (3rd floor), restaurant and pool (1st floor). Although the corridor through to the room was not as fancy as the reception the carpets smelted and looked brand new. The room was spacious and very clean with new furniture and bathroom, the only down side was the decor which had become aged over time, there was some painting going on during the week so this may change.
Overall I cannot fault the hotel, the rooms were cleaned daily, the staff were very polite, the food was good and the entertainment was fantastic especially for the kids. This is the only hotel ive said at where they do not allow people to reserve the sun beds which ment you didnt have to get up at the crack of dawn to beat the germans!! The air conditioning in this hotel was also free!!!
I would definately recommend the loro parque trip the place was amazing, we watched the whale, dolphin and sealine shows (all fantastic) and there were loads of other animals there.
If you plan to eat out, try aunty's the famous fish and chip shop you wont be disappointed and harleys the american bar was also very nice, the staff were very accomodating and the food was lovely.

Submitted By: Mrs M HAXBYAs a whole the hotel was ok but for us there were a few things missing. We were on the 5th floor and to answer the person who said it was impossible to get a sea view we did have a good view of the sea, although in the distance of course. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, one thing my hubby was really unhappy about. The carpets mentioned earlier are as bad as they were reported, they are like a mustard colour and look almost flood damaged in their appearance and although the lobby and restaurant area were marbled and looked expensive as soon as you go up the stairs (much safer than the unpredictable lifts that have a mind of their own) the hotel looks more two star, the rooms are clean and the cleaners are thorough, infact it is the staff that make the place, especially the entertainment staff who are a real asset. That said the entertainment was too short, starting at 9.30 and finishing at 11. Although the bars were open until 12.30 there wasnt even a disco open until then which would have been nice. It was really hot and prices at the bar were steep, in the end we upgraded to all inclusive to combat this at 21 euros per person per night.
The food was good and varied, but watch out for some of the stuff that is cooked on the griddle because we had a piece of chicken and a piece of pork that wasnt cooked properly.
Tenerife itself was lovely and the weather was wonderful, excursions we took part in were expensive but really good fun.
I can definitely recommend the Monkey Park a few miles away and although we werent impressed with the Aqua Park and all it's hidden charges (24 euros to get in each and then extra for hire of lockers, sunbeds and even the inflatables for the flume) the 60 euros we paid for the dolphin experience, learning about the beautiful creatures and interacting with them was the highlight of our holiday.
I suppose the icing on the cake for ius was the fact that they decided to so some work on the hotel while we were there and the use of a pnumatic drill in the stairway for three days was torture and meant that even though we had upgraded to all inclusive we had to leave the hotel to avoid pounding headaches.
In summary this hotel was ok, but if you are looking for 4 star perks you wont get them here. It wasn;t bad, but ut wasn't good either.

Submitted By: Wilma GilmourOffered a glass of Cava as we completed the booking resistration forms which was a nice touch. Reception staff were lovely, very polite and helpfull.
Had previously read on other review web sites that its a good ideas to email hotel requesting room type etc. So I did this, requesting high floor and sea/pool view if poss.
This is what we got, a lovely room on 9th floor with a fabulous view over the area and sea and pool. We were advised however that if we wished to booked this room in the future there would be an extra cost of 5 euros per day.
Room serviced daily and free fridge, telly, hair dryer, shampoo etc. We paid 18 euros for 10 day safe hire.
You can also hire beach towels for a refundable deposit of 5 euros per person.
We also had the option of upgrading to all inclusive for 19 euros per day per person but felt we couldn't justify paying this for a light lunch time snack and a glass of wine. Other option was 12 euros per person per day for lunch including drinks but again as we are recently retired all we require at lunchtime is a snack or such like and a glass of beer or wine. Plenty of cafe bars etc round the corner with good varied lunch time menus and a happy hour which lasted all day. Large beer 1 euro 50 and large glass of wine 2 euros 20. Brilliant.
Pool area is lovely and clean with plenty of sun loungers. We did what others were doing in the first couple of days, ie putting towel down back of 9.00 before breakfast but soon realised that this wasn't really necessary.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. Lovely hot sunshine, lovely hotel and food and bedroom, plenty of rest and lazing about. All we were looking for.
We thought the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent with lots of variety and choices.
We would have no hesititation in going back to this hotel in the future particularly if the cost were the same.

Submitted By: Mrs M LAll the staff were very polite and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very nice and plenyful, always served with a smile from the many chefs who are always cooking meat and fish in front of you.
The only problem we encountered was on the last day as we wasnt informed beforhand that once you check out at 12.00 noon then everything ends on the all inclusive and meals also for the half board guest, which is ok if you have an early flight. You can pay 14 euros each if you want to stay all inclusive for the rest of the day not sure what half board guest do for evening meal though.
We would certainly visit this hotel again and recomend it to friends and family.
