Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel

Stayed over at the Kilhey Court Hotel one night for a work event, ie Dinner-Dance eve.
Our room although Clean and comfortable was very small compared with many others we have stayed in on other work gatherings in the UK.
Our Dinner - Disco was ok with a Pleasant DJ which played many of our requests.
However we found Once the table wine had gone (which was paid for by our company), the drinks were Quite expensive on the bar. I can't drink wine on its own , so requested a small glass of lemonade for which they wanted £2.00 ! There was also a residents bar which a few colleagues went in later after the event, and that too was expensive with certain drinks a lot more expensive.
The Breakfast was diabolical, wasn't a buffet style where you get what you want, like you normally get anywhere else. It was a take your order breakfast (apart from some cereal and fruit already set out). We had to wait ages for the breakfast to come as they was doing the full english brekkies one by one? and you had to ask for toast too.Also table space was limited and they didnt take away dirty dishes, when you had finished with one, even when you were being given something else. There was not enough staff to cover the amount of customers which required service. A buffet style breakfast would be much better. A lot of people was getting cross waiting for Breakfast and they didn't serve beans either (sush you snobs I know what your thinking).
So as a veggie had to have just fried tomatoes on toast as there was nothing else?
I only got one piece of toast too! I dont care how posh they think they are you can do a full english without beans?
Ive stayed in a lot better hotels such as select Devere hotels like Carden Park and if you can get beans there, you should be able to get them everywhere. I have to say this was the worst breakfast experience Ive ever had at a hotel. Other than that the hotel was ok.Even if some of it was like a maze to find your way around.
