" Friendly hotel but... "

Booked a room only weekend deal. Lovely place, friendly helpful staff. Food was fine except for breakfast - £17.50 which was a buffet, serve yourself operation. Cold food, limited choice. For this price this is unacceptable. the 'hot' food on offer was cold, undercooked and about five items short of what constitutes a full Scottish breakfast. Must try harder...

Houstoun House is a great place to stay for a romantic break! Beautiful grounds, fantastic food! Very enjoyable! We will come back to stay very soon.
