Had a two night stay in this hotel during November.
Were lucky to be upgraded to river view room - view was stunning.
Beds are very comfortable with brill feather pillows and duvets.
Although it was November and very cold, it was really easy to get to the main shopping centre on foot - there is a walkway within the hotel grounds which takes you over the main road and into the shopping area.
The breakfasts at the hotel were brilliant - and the staff exceptionally attentive - typical Scots breakfast (including a wee dram with your porridge if you liked).
We only had dinner on the first night of our stay, but again, the food was beautifully presented by very pleasant and attentive staff.
As my friend has a child attending university in Dundee, we are staying in this hotel again in December but we would not be tempted to stay anywhere else as it is so good and also has some really impressive deals on offer through hotel's website.

The hotel was in a great location with fabulous views of the Tay and the Tay Bridge.
The room was comfortable and well furnished the bathroom was very clean and a good size.
We had dinner on the first night my husband’s looked delicious but I ordered Turkey escalope, the turkey breast was pink, it was also tough so I just ate the veg.
I was offered an alternative but not till the plates were being cleared.
We ordered burgers and a fruit platter by room service on the second night, which was lovely.
On leaving we were disappointed to find that we were charged for our Times newspaper but when we checked in, we had been told that this was complimentary.
Also the hotel is expensive to stay in, so charging for parking is a bit of a cheek.
