I dont know what the problem is with certain visitors.....we visited these apartments some years ago and not kidding you met and got on with some of the best people ever. Even meetig up with some of them afterwards. We even brought our children here to meet the people who we got on with.
The hosts couldnt do enough for us, making them friends in the process, and they couldnt get enough of our then extended family.
The cats were a fixture of a hillside hideaway you cant beat it.
All we have to say is many thanks to the diamantis family, you will remember us, hopefully we will meet again soon. take care till then. all the best Chris and Karen and girls..... see you soon Georgeeeeee xxxxx

In the rooms there are 3 beds, a kitchenette and a shower room. The actual room was clean, the sheets and towels were changed about once every 3 days and the cleaner came in every day except Sunday.
Air conditioning is available it costs €6 a day. There is a pool and a bar, the pool has a shallow and deep end. The shallow end is 1M and the deep end is about 2M.
The bar sells food and drink. The people that own the studios are friendy they have got good basic English and they are willing to help you. The only down side to staying here is the walk into Skiathos town and to the local beach, it takes about 5 mins to get down to the main road and about another 10 mins to get to the beach.
There are 2 supermarkets at the end of the road to the studios they sell everything you need except cigarettes which you can get from kiosks.
There is a regular bus sevice which goes along the south coast of the island. There is also a taxi service but it can be a bit exspensive.
If you are using travellers checks there is a bank opposite the port where you can exchange them for free, at other banks it cost €50 commission.
There is plenty of choice for places to eat all at reasonable prices.
The beaches are to a high standard and are safe for children. There are water sports on offer with tuition which seems to keep the older children occuppied.
In the old harbour there are local boat owners who for a fair price will take you to various island in the temperate blue Agean sea, also at this lovley harbour you can catch a water taxi to some of the beautiful beaches along the south coast.

We stayed at the Diamantis Studios for two weeks in September 2005, We found the accommodation to be VERY VERY basic, The owners at the property extremely rude and not at all helpful.

There is about 20-30 stray cats at the property, And another litter had just been born whilst we were there!! This was horrible! They would all sit around you when having a drink or a snack at the pool bar, And they didn’t even catch any vermin as we saw rats and mice at the property more than one!! We could not fault Libra Holiday’s the resort rep were very helpful, And provided a good service. Skiathos town was very nice, Quiet, Not much night life, But plenty of shops, bars and places to eat!

I would recommend Libra Holiday’s and would travel with them again, But I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY IT WAS HORRIBLE AND DIRTY!!! <br>
