Holiday all round great loved it!
Hotel clean and staff friendly, food was mainly the same but couldn’t complain was too nice to moan!

Have just come back from this camp. What a nightmare. 4* not, 2* yes. The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere. A 20 minute taxi ride to nearest decent town. The hotel itself is ok. The rooms are cleanish, but beware. We had to move due to mice in our room. Manager tried to say he had caught it, but he just boarded the hole up.
I would not stay in the room again in case of squeaking mice in the night. The pool was excellent and very clean. Up at 7 every morning to try and find a sun bed. Ice creams were great for the children, either vanilla and chocolate, vanilla and strawberry or banana. Bar staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble.
The food, well that is debatable. Warm, not hot and more or less the same each night. No children’s menu either. Staff again are polite but very quick to remove your plate when you have finished eating. The beach is small but fine. If you do go here I would advise you to hire a car, around 130 euros for 3 days. If you don't you will be stuck in the hotel. All in all a disappointing holiday for the money and once again definitely not a 4*.
My advice, go somewhere else.

Very enjoyable holiday, polite and courteous staff, food and drink excellent, great facilities excursions available(zakfari 4x4 trip exciting and fun, thanks Simon).
Own beach down quite steep steps but good exercise. Other holidaymakers pleasant (mainly non UK)So impressed we are returning 2006.

The Hotel was up a steep hill with many steps and slopes leading to the main reception and rooms, so not advisable for those with walking difficulties. The Italian decor was very pleasant in the main reception areas with large leather sofas
to sit whilst having an evening drink. Staff were very nice and helpful. We stayed Half Board but thought that when we were there that the All Inclusive was far better value for money.
Food was of a good standard with plenty of choice even for us vegetarians! Rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely balcony looking out onto the pool and lagoon river, in the evenings the fountains lit up and music was played. The beach is down a rather steep slope but you could take the tram up and down. There is a small shop on site as well as tennis courts and various pools. Vassilkos is a small village but taxis were cheap to nearby Laganas, Argassi and Zante Town.
We booked through otbeach.com and was very impressed with the pleasant and knowledgeable service and they also quoted the best prices.
All in all a very good holiday.

Excellent holiday. Nice food, weather fantastic. Drinks and staff very good. Rooms and pools clean. Would recommend for families
On the down side, the hotel is a bit stranded in the middle of nowhere but if you hire a car you could venture around the beautiful island.
Make sure you get up early to get sunloungers. I used to get up before breakfast to secure a couple!
Again would recommend especially to families with younger children.
