Mar Y Huerta Hotel

We stayed in this hotel for a week in June half board. Initially we looked at the website and thought it seemed ok for only a two star, but when we arrived there not so good.
Firstly we were given rooms where you couldn't get any sleep as it was so noisy with taxi ranka and bars all night long.
Linen in rooms dirty, loo seat coming off and no lift. The food was terrible wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless they'll looking for somewhere really basic and don’t mind a very loud and noisy area - not if your looking for a relaxing holiday break out of season.
All though we did complain and got given an apartment there at the back of the pool which was nice. Just shame about the food there is a nice safe beach near by though.
We have been to all the Balearics islands Menorca, Majorca and Ibiza and Majorca is by far the best especially Rey Don Jamie Hotel in Santa Ponsa, 4 star lovely!

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Mar Y Huerta. Had a tremendous time, good weather, good selection of food, clean rooms, friendly staff and great days out. Handy for everything.
Shop around for better deals on drinks (especially cocktails). Take the coast walk to Santa Eulalia, if you dare! The boat ride back is worth the return fare. Will be going back in the future.

We booked this as a cheap deal as we wanted to visit es cana as we have friends over there. It was clean; only downside was no TV or lift and breakfast could have been better rather than just toast or cereal.
Could not fault much about this hotel apart from if you want a cheap break away for a week the staff were friendly and welcomed you.

We have just returned from a fortnight at the mar y herta. the staff were friendly especially the waitress(sorry forgot your name) who seemed to be around all day every day.
The holiday itself was as expected. 50 paces to beach and 60 paces to Charlie’s Bar. The food in the Hotel could have been better as it seemed to be the same things every other night and after two weeks I was glad I didn’t have to see mashed potato and squid rings again.
I would not wish to put anyone off this hotel but you do get what you pay for and the area is beautiful.
