Club Hotel Tonga

Brilliant holiday. Would not hesitate to go again. The entertainment team are the best. The hotel is very clean. The pool is kept clean and is tested every day . Food ok little bit repetitive. You could never be board the animation team keep you busy and amused all day (entertainment team).
5 min from the beach, packed lunches given if required.

Just returned from a fortnight in the sun at Can Picafort’s 'Club Tonga'. Well, what can I say, the hotel was great, the activities were great, the entertainment was great and the people were great. A fantastic family atmosphere, no hassle, no neds, no worries.
The onsite entertainers were first class, with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Yarl, Alexi (the animal), Mr Wimpy and Wendy, you were all superb. I shall return next year knowing that I will get great value for money. Oh, the food!, I almost forgot... this was also very good with a big selection available. Snacks, ice cream and all the usual stuff a plenty.
And on to the company, big Tam and Lynn, Bruce and Eyvonne... you helped make this a fantastic holiday for my family, and for that I am very grateful. We'll meet again, some sunny day.
So, listen closely, book up and enjoy the Tonga experience as we certainly did. In the immortal words of Yarl the chief entertainer, "I want for you to give 100% for the one and only.....CCCLLLUUUBBB TONGAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!"

Can Picafort was a lovely resort for the family. We took our daughter 18 months old. The beach is clean and the sea is shallow. As for the Hotel Club Tonga is very clean and restaurant staff very friendly.
Hotel was 75% Germans and meant that to guarantee a sun lounger early morning calls were essential. There were several all male German groups who spoilt the holiday for us and the reception staff did not show any interest in any complaints. We even had a German on our balcony peering thru our window at 1am in the morning and reception did nothing. Caution also needed as the hotel is 14 stories high and the lifts are unreliable, breaking down daily.

An excellent holiday all round for my family. Five of us went with an age ranging from 11 to 67 The Tonga caters for all ages mainly due to the animation team who, led by Jarl work tirelessly during the day & at night to make sure everybody is enjoying themselves.
Food in the restaurant in the evening and the snack bar during the day is excellent!
The centre of Can Picafort is just a 5 minute leisurely stroll which my mum enjoyed every night to lose the pounds which she had put on due to the variety of all the deserts laid on.
This was the 3rd time we have been to the hotel Tonga and it certainly won’t be the last!!

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Club Tonga, I was very impressed with the standard of cleanliness and the size of the rooms (we had four in our room, and still had enough space to move easily).
The variety of entertainment was suitable for all ages, with the entertainment staff working very hard.
The food available was varied, but we didn’t use the restaurant during the day as the snack and grill bar offered pizza, burgers, chips, salad etc.
Location of the hotel is a 10 minute stroll (with a 3 yr old) to the Can Picafort beach.
If the opportunity arises that we can return to Mallorca we would definitely stay at the Club Tonga again.

What a fabulous holiday. First "family" holiday I have taken since a child, and it was wonderful. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very pleasant, the rooms are a good size, clean towels every day, and good size balcony and bathroom. The food was plentiful and varied, the bar although very busy and queues at times, was fully stocked, and all included. This is the first year they have done All Inclusive, and it was a bit of a learning curve I think for them, but no complaints at all - and believe me, if I can complain, I do!! About 10 mins slow walk to the beach which is very clean, promenade with lots of nice bars, a few too many Germans, but I think sometimes preferable to English lager louts!
We were back in the house about half an hour and tried to book again, it's really that good. Entertainment fabulous, the group of Animation who do all that stuff and the sports, work about 90 hours a week and it shows! Faultless, very funny, very professional, and varied. I envy anyone going there!!! I shall certainly be booking for next year. We took a 21 month old son, and two elderly grandparents, 70 and 75, and it suited us all (we are 40 issssssssssshhhhhhhhh)!

Club Tonga has an excellent entertainment team and the nightly shows were good. With a choice of swimming pools and large gardens you were never short of space to relax throughout the day.
The downside to this hotel however is that their is no air conditioning in the rooms and queues to get into the restaurant at meal times sometimes stretched through the reception area, across the large bar and beyond. Not pleasant at all and when you got into restaurant the staff were not particularly friendly. The food was not bad.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who dislikes queues or sleeping in a sauna during the hottest part of the summer.
