Edomit Hotel

Edomit was built in 1983 and, in my opinion, has been maintained as well as can be expected.
The key word is adequate but I actually mean this in an extremely positive sense. It is small, clean and well run.
It is NOT the hotel for you if you're looking for somewhere to hang out the whole day, but if you want an reasonable room, good food and maybe a dip in the pool without spending a lot of cash, I do recommend.
We came here with 2 kids (15 and 9) and slept in one big four-bed room. It was fine.
The visitors were mainly Soviet immigrants, who are quiet with small well behaved families.
Its position, like that of most of Eilat's hotels, is very good, though a little too close to a disco at night - bring ear-plugs.
Overall I would say this. If you're paying around 50% of one of the big hotels, go for it. If the price is similar you may regret it.
