This hotel provides the best of both worlds: the facilities of a hotel combined with the independence and space of a self catering apartment. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with our one-year-old daughter. The first apartment they gave us was open plan with no door... more

Nice Place to Stay but Watch-Out for Next Door Construction
Very nice Residence Inn with an excellent General Manager, who is professional and responsive in every way. Rooms are very comfortable but the Hotel Maids need to learn how to make beds properly: that is; tuck in bottom sheets, so that you don't become tnagled-up as you sleep! On-going (directly) next door construction makes pleasant time at the pool a hit-or-miss type event. Lots of noise and exhaust fumes from the various construction equipment was highly unwelcome.
Excellent place to stay very clean.
We stayed here the last week of July 03. Room was one bedroom and was very rooming. Nice furniture and very comfortable beds. Prime location for both WDW and Universal Studio Parks. I was very pleased on how clean the grounds and buildings were kept. Breakfast was included every morning and it was full course what a deal. Upon our arrival we were greeted by an excellent core of staff.
Lots of Fun
My family and I stayed at this hotel and we loved it. The pool was nice and very clean and the staff was pretty friendly. The breakfast is not that spectacular, but it was free so... I would definitly stay here again.
Loved the theme of the Residence Inn
My 13 year old son and I stayed at the Residence Inn from November 29th until December 6, 2003. We loved the hotel. It had a nice Caribbean theme and it was very clean. The staff at the hotel was above average in their professionalism. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were good-sized and very clean. It was a quiet hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.
Not bad at all !!!!
We stayed ther for 9 days in Nov 20-28, 2003. The 2-room suite was in excellent condition, featuring a full kitchen, including a range, dishwasher, full-size microwave and refrigerator. The bed and other furniture were semi comfortable, .The staff was very courteous and friendly throughout our stay, and went out of their way to help. The complimentary breakfasts (including eggs, french toast and breakfast meats) was average for free buffets ,but got old after the third day. Although the gift shop was way overpriced as was the on-site Pizza Hut Express. .My complaints are minor: $1.00 for local calls is ridiculous. Our room had strange smell everytime we enter, but quickly when away. I could never find source maybe it was the kids. Overall I give it 8 out 10.
TSA National Competition
I took a group of 15, to a national competition this past June and the stay was great. Especially the beds. These were the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in .
A true resort
Top notch facility close to attractions yet private and quiet. Wonderful stay at a beautiful property. A true vacation experience.
great for the money
My Husband and i stayed at the residence inn Nov 2003 We where there for 14 days, Loved it !! Very clean friendly service. The buffet was great only problem was getting seating in the morning, but not a big deal. the only thing we really did not like was the concierge trying to push there other rental spot on us. We do not like to go for 90 minute presentation you are offered $75 dollars though . Other then that the pool was great the hotel was excellent would go back
Absolutely loved Residence Inn Sea World!!
Just returned from a week at Residence Inn with my family. It was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. Had a one bedroom suite which was perfect for the 4 of us. Loved having the kitchen in our room and the buffet hot breakfast was wonderful every morning. Pool and hot tub were spectacular. Saturday night there was live entertainment provided near the bar/swimming pool which was a real treat. All staff are very friendly and anxious to help in any way they can. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is in a convenient, yet off the beaten path (quiet) location. Appreciated no traffic yet easy access to all parks. I would suggest that you check Marriot's website frequently for special offers as we were able to save $20 per night by getting on their email list about special rates. You will not be disappointed by staying at this terrific hotel!!
Top-notch for this price level
My wife and I stayed here for 7 days in October, 2003. The experience was pleasingly satisfying. The 2-room suite was in excellent condition, featuring a full kitchen, including a range, dishwasher, full-size microwave and refrigerator. The bed and other furniture were very comfortable, and the daily maid service was impeccable, even going so far as to load and run the dishwasher every day (we would have done it ourselves, but never got the chance). The staff was very courteous and friendly throughout our stay, and went out of their way to help on a couple of occasions. The complimentary breakfasts (including eggs, french toast and breakfast meats) were above average for free buffets to the extent that we actually dragged ourselves out of bed to partake (we usually hate to get up before 9:00 while on vacation). The serving crew was very amiable and didn't wisk everthing away right at closing as at most other free breakfast buffets. Although the gift shop is horribly overpriced as usual, I was pleasantly suprised to find the prices and quality at the on-site Pizza Hut Express very reasonable. The fitness center, pool and game room were certainly adequate though not as large or swanky as some of the fancier resorts in the area. Location is convenient for driving, although the only place within walking distance was SeaWorld (no other restaurants or shopping). I was suprised to see they don't have the Disney channels in their TV lineup. My only complaints are minor: $1.00 for local calls is ridiculous, need access to local Weather Channel forecast, rooms could have been better sound-proofed. For this price range and level of service, I can highly recommend this hotel, with one caveat: being relatively new, it will be interesting to see how it ages over the next few years and whether the facilities continue to be maintained in excellent condition.
