Executive Milan Hotel Reviews
We had decided on this hotel as it seemed ideally situated to see Bergamo, Milan etc on a budget break. We actually needed to get a bus into Bergamo from the hotel (reception sells bus tickets at 1.5 euros each way), and bus takes 20 minutes to get into the bus station at Bergamo. From here you can get buses to Milan which is approx 1 hour away and about 4 euros each way, or Como which is 1.75 hours away and also approx 4 euros, or you can cross the road to the train station where we got a train to Brescia (45 mins away) and 3.5 euros each way and then you can get a bus to Lake Garda which is about another hour away which is beautiful.
The nightlife in all of the above is low-key and the food is what you would expect from Italy, pizza, pasta etc etc.
The hotel is very nice, a bit out of the way, but extremely clean, the staff are very nice, and the rooms are really good.
