From the start of arriving in Tunisia the people could not do enough for you - they do this however for money but having your cases carried to the bus ect when you have 2 little girls and 5 peices of luggage is worth every penny of 50p! The waiters and bar staff where excellent and could not do enough for you again. They love kids and would entertain them and breakfast dinner if they where playing up. There are only two grumpy bar staff who never look at you or speak to you but in all fairness when you see how the french speak and treat them I dont know how half of them get through the day without a fight! My girls are 4 years and 1 years old and both loved the holiday. If I had to critacise two thing it would be that there is not alot of choice if food for children. Breakfast is fine but evening meals could do with a childrens selection. Having said that the food was amazing and alot better than i expected. I also never experienced a bad tummy! The other thing was that the all inclusive which I was where given plastic small cups for drinking soft drinks which was gret for the kids but I needed to order 6 at a time to make it worth drinking. Also the beer was served in a wine glass, you needed 5 to make up a pint! There is a train that will take you on a 1 hour ride for £1.50 which is great to just get away. Outside of the hotel is very safe. I have never felt safer in a foreign country. You will get hasseled to buy things but just say no and walk on if not interested. Ther is loads of fakes to buy cheep - £5 for a good quality boss fake watch ect but they do FIX PRICE shops which are as cheep or cheeper than haddling without the hassel. Dont get conned into people telling you they are the chief from the hotel and that there brother has a shop down the road. They basically see your all inclusive wrist band and know which hotel you are staying in . hey say " Hi do you remember me, im the chief from the hotel i made you crepes yesterday come with me to meet my family, THEY HAVE A SHOP THEY GIVE YOU GOOD PRICE. You go there and there is about 6 of them trying to sell you a wallet for £50!! This didnt happen to me but i met 5 poeple who it did happen to. Go on a camel trip with the operators in the hotel. They will take you on a more traditional experience and you even get nann bread and green tea roung a camp fire dressed as a arab it was great. Paragliding on the beach £17 for 30 mins and you land on the sand, again great. Overall five star I will be booking for next year anytime now enjoy

johankey what a moaner, you will put people off. just got back great resort, very clean and modern, nice marina, great beach and clear sea. not many brits in hotel or resort[nice & quiet] especially round the small pool, no rush for sunbeds either. found staff great & really friendly, even better than egypt, perhaps she upset them. you are waited on round the pool and in the restaurant not like some all inclusives. own stretch of beach is 5 minutes max with free sunbeds. one of our best holidays, great value, would go back anytime.

Hotel terrific, pools marvellous, all premises clean, beach a good walk away across a busy road, staff dreadful.
No disrespect to the French but if you were French you got top service, soon as the staff knew you were English they either ignored you or left you to the last to serve.
Anything went wrong... the brits were blamed! We felt very sorry for a big family who were holidaying at the same time as us as they were constantly being watched and picked up on things where other nationalities despite being ignorant to the staff were treated with deference?
I am an easy going person but had to get quite shirty with the big guy in one of the bars because whenever I went to him he would snarl at me and say... WHAT!
Speaking a little Arabic I said... Lerr what! Nahum MinFadlic aka No what! Yes please!
Most of the chefs were really lovely, the maids were always pleasant and spoke it’s just the bar staff that were horrible!
The hotel was always clean, toilets excellent. Animation staff, Jimmy especially were ab fab with all the children and do go to their show in the hotel its quite good!
Would we go again? Definitely not, yes the gardens were green and well tended, beach sandy, but the people were not as friendly as the Egyptians or other nationalities.

The week was hell on earth, Ok the weather wasnt good, the amenities were none existant, some staff were very rude, a stike didnt help matters either, although staff at the hotel knew it was going to happen and im aware more strikes may follow, we had no help from the rep for the first three hours, fending for ourselves, going into empty kitchens, no food, glasses and water were locked away, fridges had been emptied, and all hot water had been turned off, to showers, toilets etc.
The entertainment was none existant, all the male rep wanted to do was chat the young ladies up, as I stated it rained for four whole days, and even though it was half term the reps did nothing to entertain the kids.
We chatted to one couple who had asked for adjoining rooms for them and their sons, the rooms were adjoining but had been locked, when they complained, a man turned up with a hammer and chisle and cut the lock out, telling them its Ok now.
The food was quantity rather then quality, they seem to think that in all that array of food, you will find something you can eaT, it was terrible, FOUR STAFF ALL INCLUSIVE, SORRY TWO STAR ON A GOOD DAY
We did partake in an activity to the local market as the rep made us aware not to venture out late at night and also in her own words, "as soon as you walk out the door , you will be pounced on by locals".
So we paid to go to the local market as she made it clear they will be with us and will be onhand to aid any buying.
On the day we had a Tunisian guide, who took us to the market, then told us where the coach will be and left us to our own devices, that cost £30.00 for the two of us.
Never again Thomas Cook and never again Tunisia
