My husband and i have been going to Turkey now for 8 or 9 years and we started staying at the Pinara fro the last 3 years and we love it, they couldn't do enough for us. We have since taken many friends there and they love it too. Well done Deniz and Tuna keep up the great work. We'll be back with our friends.I love it.

True Turkish Hospitality

We stayed at the Pinara 2 years ago and had the most amazing time and really didn't think that it could be repeated! Well we returned this year and guess what? They are all still just as amazing, just as kind, just as helpful - and we all experienced, yet again, a huge taste of true Turkish hospitality!
We are all widely travelled and can thoroughly recommend the Pinara to all - something we have rarely been able to do with other places we have visited.
The location is amazing - so peaceful and yet just a very short stroll from the buzz of the village. The Dolmus (Bus) stop is just a few yards away and that will take you to Olu Deniz in minutes (we spent a few days on Sugar Beach further up in the lagoon where we lazed on huge canopied quadruple beds - absolute bliss and so wonderful for children - calm, gently sloping water, lots of canoes, pedaloes etc for hire and a great restaurant - what more could you ask for!!!)Don't forget to just ask the Dolmus driver to take you there - you don't have to get off at the main Olu Deniz stop and it's no extra charge.
We ate and drank frequently at the Pinara (well we were on holidays and do enough cooking at home!!!)and the food is still so wonderful - you can safely order British or Turkish dishes and be assured of fantastic taste, quality, presentation and service - I miss my Turkish breakfasts so much!!! A special mention here for Tuna - he's such a great guy!
The atmosphere and the friendships that developed around the pool/restaurant/bar area were inspiring and are a true reflection on the hard work that is involved in creating that perfect relationship between staff and guests - Deniz, your staff are still a credit to you and again are a wonderful reflection of who you are as their manager.
We can assure you of a truly great stay at the Pinara - Deniz and her amazing staff go above and beyond what is expected of them to make absolutely certain that you have a wonderful and unforgettable holiday experience.
Inci and Ilhan - The Pinara continues to be a credit to you and we are privileged to have been your guests yet again!
See you next year!!!

We booked our hol quite late and within a tight holiday window so ended up at Pinara as much out of luck as choice. We couldn't have chosen better. The room was clean, spacious and cool, overlooking the pool. We had air con but didn't need it even though the weather was hot. The apartments are in a surprisingly quiet location but are also just a stones throw from the edge of the resort centre with plenty of bars, shops and nightlife a very short walk away. All of the staff were very freindly, from the owner to the maids so I'm not going to name anyone in particular here but save to say they did their best to make it a great holiday and succeeded.

What can I say Deniz, her staff and family could not have done more, they made our holiday one of the best we have had. Loved the apartments, spacious and clean with all you needed for a self catering holiday. The pool area was brilliant. We met some very nice people and the banter around the pool was great. Really like Hisaronu hope it dosn't change to much. The Pinara Apartments of on our list of must return to.

We stayed at the Pinara this July and everything was
brilliant ,Deniz ,Tuna and everyone working there could not do enough
for you ,we have already booked up again for next year ;D ;D only 45
weeks to go and counting !! The rooms are brilliant and are kept
spotless clean .Tuna had us crying with laughter every night at the bar
,especially when his magic tricks went wrong . Lilia kept us all well
fed with her brilliant cooking and Deniz was Amazing nothing was too
much trouble. There are signs around the pool area asking people not to
bring their own food and drink to the pool ,which is fair as there is a
bar and food is served all day ,they even bring it to you so you don`t
even have to get up from your sun lounger, but even still, women were
sending their kids up to their rooms and bringing down cans of beer
,big bottles of pop ,food crisps etc ,and sitting eating and drinking
them right under the signs that ask you not to !! and then they were
moaning when they were asked not to do it !! I
think some people go on
holiday just looking for something to complain about ..I just wish they
would go somewhere else and do it !! We love the Pinara ,its just a
pity that some guests think that some rules don`t apply to them !!
Keep up the good work everyone in The Pinara.. ;D

Have just come back from pinara...

Have just come back from pinara apartments and would not stay there again. It was recommended to us and we have been to hisaranu for 6 years so we thought we would try it.
The apartments themselves were quite nice even though not cleaned thoroughly. Around the pool was dirty and two of our party caught ear infections. The main grievance we had was with the management. Deniz who is the manager had no customer service skills whatsoever and even sent a barman over because i went to the pool with half a bottle of water!!! The atmosphere around the pool was very subdued, thats when u could get a sunbed, as they did not move towels that had been there all afternoon with nobody on them.
The end of the second week, we all went to a hotel next door and used their pool, and it was lovely to have friendly staff and people. We are going back next year but definetly not to the pinara!!

We found ourselves in Hisaronu at the...

We found ourselves in Hisaronu at the height of the season (August 07) with no accommodation after a shambolic mix up over direct bookings at another hotel! (They shall remain nameless at this stage!) We are a mixed age group of 8 people -from children to the middle aged and we literally ended up on the streets with no place to stay! As we had booked independently we had no rep to help!
We sat miserable and ever so upset in "Fatma's" cafe where Fatma and her wonderful husband fed and watered us and generally looked after us - even offering for us to stay with them! Well, after a fair bit of searching, Fatma and her husband emptied the days fruit and veg from their van and piled us all in and took us to the Pinara! (This act of pure kindness will stay with us all forever!) Fatma's is situated at the top of the village of Hisaronu as you head towards Ovacik and is opposite the Han hotel - you are assured of the most amazing welcome here and the most perfect food imaginable!
Well, what can we say about the Pinara? "Perfect" - sums it up! Deniz, the manager, ensured that we were all accommodated in fabulous 2 and 3 bedroomed apartments. Our 3 bedroomed apartment had 3 en-suite bathrooms and 4 balconies that you could actually sit out on!!! Our 2 bedroom apartment had the most fabulous terrace! These apartments are only just over a year old and are well equipped, beautifully furnished and are so perfectly situated - just a very short stroll to the village main street and yet so perfectly peaceful!
The pool is huge and the grounds are so beautiful - thanks mainly to the amazing groundsman - Apo. The bar staff, Izzet and Tuna are just perfect gentlemen - nothing was too much trouble.
Lila the cook is a genius and provided us with a fantastic array of perfect Turkish and British food!
The reception staff - Gorkem and Emine and the fantastic security guard were always around whenever we needed them and again - nothing was too much trouble. Two delightful cleaning ladies - Sefagul and Ipek ensured our apartments were cleaned - (As these are apartments, however, this is not a daily occurrence as it is in hotels, however, we only had to ask and clean towels and bedding etc would speedily appear with a smile!).
What could have been an absolute disaster of a holiday was turned around into an amazing holiday experience which showed in its true fullness the warmth and kindness of the amazing Turkish people that we are truly honoured to have met.
Inci and Ilhan - your hotel is a credit to you and your amazing staff.
We will be back next year!

Just arrived back from the Pinara apts and want to let people know about the Pinara. The pool is dirty and we all had ear infections, rooms were never cleaned properly and the second week we had to ask for fresh sheets they had not been changed. We also had to do this with the towels, spoke to the manager and was not helpful at all and even told us to go find a new hotel. We love Hisaranu but would never go to the Pinara you have been warned.

We arrived at our apartment at 6am to discover a really vile smell .The smell smelt like blocked drains as we told Deniz not a very nice woman about the smell, she said she couldn’t smell anything. After 3 days in our apartment we noticed the air conditioning was constantly dripping causing a lot of water on our balcony. Yet again Deniz said this wasn’t a problem.
The rooms were nice but the staff didn’t have time for anyone; with it being family run they were all together sitting in the corner. Anyone travelling to Pinara should be aware to keep money and other stuff safe, out of staff’s way. Half way through my holiday I noticed money had gone missing as I began to talk to other people that said the same. Also ask for a receipt as they seem to forget what’s been paid for. Any first timers going to Pinara I wouldn’t recommend it as the hotel bar is very quiet and no entertainment on in the evening, the staff are no good either.

Great hotel, fun people, always up for a laugh, very sad to see Mehemet leave but we still keep in touch. The hotel handy man was not very nice he was standing all over my bed due to the air conditioner leaking all over it! Other than that I totally enjoy my stay and I would love it if I could go back next yr.
