" Just returned from Tenerife, having... "

Just returned from Tenerife, having spent weeks "All Inclusive" at the H10 La Nina. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 4 kids from the age of 15 to 9. We booked this hotel from the Thomson’s brochure, but we had also seen this hotel in one of the accessible hotels for disabled, brochures.

It was important for us that this hotel was accessible as my partner is in a wheelchair and needed adequate facilities from the bathroom to the dining and leisure facilities.

The hotel was situated in the high street through Costa Adeje, which initially upon arrival we worried about as we wondered if it could be noisy etc. The foyer of the hotel was impressive and the receptionist very helpful on check in as he spoke excellent English.

We had two rooms one of which was a disabled room. The bathroom was only adequate for one wheelchair user at a time. The wheel in shower access wasn’t suitable for my partner's use as the angle of the seat meant he would have fallen off it.

However the room in general was very good. The” pushed together" beds were very comfortable. The room had a TV but the only English speaking channel was Sky News which I suppose on holiday is all you need, but I think the youngest would have been happy with a cartoon channel to keep him quiet whilst we all got ready!

On exploration we found the hotel to be very comfortable and of good design for us.
The food for each sitting was good. Initially we enjoyed most of the types of buffet food but by the second week it was a bit repetitive! They had themed food nights, but we weren’t quite sure what some of the meats were! The kids were happy with the excuse to have chips regularly!

The hotel had a great occupancy of mainly Spanish and Germans and a few English, maybe it was early in the season and more English would appear later. There weren’t many English speaking kids of our kid’s ages but the kids club appeared adequate also.

The bar staff were very pleasant and helpful and it took some time getting used to not having to pay for drinks at the bar unless you wanted a "named" brand, but the local alcohol was very good and there was a great selection available.

The kids loved being able to help themselves to sandwiches, croissants and of course ice cream throughout the day as well as soft drinks for themselves.
The entertainment was mixed. Mostly Spanish speaking but after a while you got used to what they were saying in general.
Overall a very enjoyable stay we would go again. The hotel warranted its' 4 star status.

" Rather slow to check in but otherwise... "

Rather slow to check in but otherwise a very clean and well run hotel.

Food was buffet style, plenty of choice.

Mostly Spanish and German guests during our stay.

Rooms are a good size and a maid cleans every day. Didn’t use the entertainment.

The Irish bar up the road (temple bar) is a cracking night out.

Close to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants close by.

A very good hotel and we will be returning soon.

" Could not have asked for a nicer... "

Could not have asked for a nicer room, got sea view but did not ask for it.

Maids every day, air-conditioning worked well, so well the first night we had to get up in the night to turn it off as it was too cold!

Pool too cold for us, entertainment was rubbish, not a hotel for kids (not many there though) if they need to be entertained, but were two women no kids or husbands so had a great time, food was nice but lots of choice in resort

Beach: about 2 mins walk away gorgeous beach.

Night time: only stayed in the evening to take advantage of all inclusive, but cheap brands, went to Irish pub up the hill, great duo on.

Would go again to hotel but not with kids and not all inclusive.

" Very modern hotel, good location.

Very modern hotel, good location.

Rooms were spotlessly clean.

Food in restaurant was of a good standard, but towards the end of the week we got a bit bored of the food.

Hotel does a really good deal where if you are on Half Board you can have lunch instead of dinner if you notify them in advance.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, much higher standard than you would expect in this type of resort.

" We (over 60 yrs.) are regular... "

We (over 60 yrs.) are regular visitors to H10 hotels and this was our first visit to La Nina H10 4star. This is a modern style hotel, with and open central atrium, situated within 50m (via the rear entrance ) to Porta Colon white beach, the open air market and 100m to the Torviscas long volcanic beach, 200m to the harbour (boat trips) and in between are shops, pubs and restaurants.

Front entrance leads directly to shops and 300m to the St. Eugene shopping centre. The Hotel was up to the high standard of all H10 hotels we have visited. Restaurant was light and open, rooms were good and clean, staff were very helpful. Quieter rooms are pool view or sea view. Has fitness centre with pool.

Good children’s club. Lunch time eating excellent around pool. Only minus is night entertainment area, basic but good group on regularly for dancing. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

" This is a very relaxed hotel, the... "

This is a very relaxed hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms at this hotel were spotless due to being cleaned every day, no shortage of clean towels in the room and by the pool. The food was very good too, a choice to suit everyone’s taste. On the whole a very recommendable hotel and will return in the near future.
