Just returned from this hotel today - 2/10/2007.
Excellent place to stay. Their attention to detail was great. It was good value for money overall.
Good swimming pool and facilities. Most people couldn't do enough for us and I valued it as a disabled person.
Food was scrummy and we ate off the cheap menu!
You also get 50p off the museum passport which is £13.50 instead of £14.00!
Blist hill is a must while in the area.

Arrived on Friday afternoon for a winter weekend break, and yes it was wintry. Hotel reception was warm and friendly, we had lunch from the bar which was excellent. Hotel room was very good everything you needed (we had a fridge).
TV had all the channels including Sky sports but not movie channels but you had pay for view movies with latest films. We ate in the restaurant that evening and food was first choice, lots to choose from not cheap but not too expensive. Breakfast was also very good lots of choices.
There’s loads to see at Telford and surrounding areas so we had an excellent weekend break and the Holiday Inn was a really good choice Hotel to stay in and would recommend it to anyone.

The holiday inn at Telford proved to be an ideal location for a short break. there were many historic locations to visit during our short break, not enough time to see them all so will have to return again. The iron bridge built by Thomas Telford being just one. The hotel is located about five mins from a superb shopping complex so remember to have your credit cards with you. There are plenty of places to eat near by, but the hotel menu and the quality of the food was excellent. A great weekend break destination.

It can't be easy to cater for 3 and 12 year old children but our stay passed off without any tantrums. We are always impressed from the hearty breakfast in the extended dining room to dinner eaten in the bar area.
We use this hotel to explore Iron bridge and jump on the train to Birmingham, ending the day with a swim in the leisure complex. If you take your children make sure you ask the front desk for free tickets to Wonderland.
See you next year!
