Awful - do not stay here

This hotel is no longer a Hilton. We were appauled by the standard of the hotel and the standard of service. We booked this hotel from the Hilton website, expecting nothing less than a four star hotel. When we arrived we were shocked to find it was no longer a hilton, and we would not have rated it more than 21/2 stars. The rooms were dirty and falling apart, our double bed was two singles pushed together, the staff were very unhelpfull, infact they were useless. Do not stay here, you will be disappointed.

Just returned from a night's, and thank god it was only one, stay at the awful Hilton Plaza Hotel. I think they have a cheek claiming to be a 3 star Hilton. It is no more then one Star. Some of the problems: smelly room, shabby & old carpets, furniture that so better days in the 1970's, phone not working, cracked sink, patched shower curtain, very old bathtub etc etc. DO NOT PAY RACK RATES FOR THIS DUMP. Paid £55 for a twin room through Priceline and feel ripped off. Do not pay more then £50, that's all it is worth.
Dont expect too much and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

ok, this hotel isn't what you would expect from a hilton but it really isn't as bad as people make out on this site. i stayed for 2 nights and was sad to go. yes the decor is appalling! very very dated, needs a lick of paint as the walls have the odd bit of peeling, the curtains are a bit frayed. but it's lovely and clean, the beds are nice and large, rooms large too. tip- have the continental breakfast in bed! well worth it!croissants,muffins,yoghurt,rolls,drinks,lots of jams,cereal. the entrance hall is lovely,sophisticated. the...

My company booked this hotel for several of us working in London, because of the 'Hilton' tag (which i believe they have lost), we had expectations of an enjoyable stay after a long drive from Manchester. This is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever visited in London. It's tatty, the evening carvery in the restaurant is aweful,no it really is bad! The reception staff are surly. through work i stayed here for 61 nights last year - here are some tips. Because of the new stadium the hotel is not spending any money on refurb (i think hilton may have won the rights to the new hotel on site??) so ask to sleep in a room on floor 6 or above as these have had some money spent on them in the last 18 months. I just got back to the US after spending four nights at the Wembley Plaza hotel. I booked this hotel on Hilton's website but upon arrival it appeared that Hilton had removed their accreditation, since (unlike the usual H hotel) the Hilton logo was nowhere to be seen and the desk clerk looked downright uncomfortable when I asked him if this was still a Hilton. Oh dear avoid

Stayed at this hotel this weekend, lets just say this is extremely poor. The hotel has LOST its HILTON ACCREDITATION and this shows. It is advertised on their website as 4* but compares to 2* bed and breakfast. Decoration is extremely tired, service is poor, breakfast is cold, no airconditioning and the list goes on. Care should be taken prior to booking this hotel. Dont expect Hilton standards and you wont be disappointed. As a coporate traveller holding a honors gold card I was upgraded room but still poor. We were not disappointed, having booked before reading the mixed reviews,we arrived with some trepidation! My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. We called the hotel as we weren't really sure where to go and had come to a roundabout in the road. The bloke we spoke to said, just keep going straight ahead, but he didn't bother to ask which way we were facing and was quite off with us.
