Pirineu Apartments

Visiting here was my first outing on the slopes since a school ski trip way back in 1997!
I came here with 3 friends, all in our mid 20s, and had the most awesome week!
The location of the hotel was spot on. Literally a 5 minute walk (even with ski boots on!) to a very fast ski lift right to the centre of all the action. From there, you had plenty of scope to choose from a range of other conveniently located lifts to other runs.
The accommodation was cracking. We were working to a budget, so the rooms weren't plush, but everything was working and the beds were comfy, clean and regularly attended to by the hotel staff.
Food was really nice. Good, simple breakfasts and the main evening meal was always a 3 course affair and the standard was fantastic.
The owner was a really nice guy and the whole ambience of the place was just spot on.
I like to travel around, so wouldn't go to the same resort/venue again, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the resort and the hotel to anyone with criteria similar to ours.
We were basically after cheap accommodation, near to the slopes, half board and a nice place to come back to after each day on the slopes. It met all these criteria and more. Plus, the shower was awesome and a steady supply of hot water provided good soaking potential after a long day of on slope action!
