Our family stayed in the Olimpiades apartments for a week in Feb 2009. we had 3 different apartments, all of them were clean and in good condition - all 3 had great views of the slopes. the location of these apartments is ideal for ski in / ski out. The bar down stairs is great but the music was on so loud in there it was hard to hear each other so we rarely ate / drank there. the town has some very nice restaurants and bars. I found the shopping very poor, even went to Andorra La Vella and wasn't impressed. Would definetely stay at these apartments again and would recommend them to everyone. the resort is great for the advanced skier as you can ski from resort to resort - fab! The staff at the aparments were very good.

Went to This hotel in January 2008 with 3 friends staying self catering.
Thought this hotel was ideal for the holiday we were looking for. It is a basic but clean hotel leading onto Pas de la Casa's main slope meaning we could ski in and out every day.
The hotel had a bar/restaurant that was very reasonable and which served nice food; the staff were all friendly as was everyone staying in the hotel. The bar opened out onto the piste and was filled with skiers stopping for lunch through the day. At night is was generally quiet with few people seeming to eat in the restaurant and a few having early evening drinks or hot chocolate and going outside for bumboarding.
Mainly a young crowd in the hotel of 18-20's but this seemed to be a case for the resort not just the hotel. We booked through a tour operator so had reps in the hotel. Had several organised activities for apres ski which we signed up for. They were all reasonably cheap and provided loads of entertainment.
The room we had was for four people and had a bunk bed and single bed and a sofa that could be used as a single. We also had a dining table a kitchen and bathroom. The only downside of our kitchen was that it had no oven; only hobs, a microwave, a sink, a toaster and kettle. Other than that I loved the room. It also had a balcony overlooking the piste.
One downside to the hotel is that it is built up on several floors with no lift. We were on the 2nd from from reception but the fourth floor from the piste entrance/ski room which is a chore to walk 4 or 5 times a day when you're knackered.
For Apres ski the hotel is also really close to plenty of bars like Milwaukee and Underground. The first of these is always a good laugh and generally quite full. There is also some clubs that we visited on the bar crawl but the names escape me.
In almost every aspect this hotel and resort was perfect. I would definately go back to both again.

I took 47 people here this year for the second time (36 people the year before) I can't recommend this hotel enough.
Rooms, staff, bar are all great & ski to the door. Ski lock up's downstairs too which are safe.
About a 2 min walk to get to the town so great for eating out but the food at the bar downstairs was not bad. Had a Saturday roast dinner one year too in which they also sorted us out some discount!

Hi all. Me and 4 friends spent a week in the aparthotel Olimpiades and all of us agreed it was fantastic. It was comfortable, warm, clean and excellently situated. On arrival, with Panorama, we were shown exactly where our apartments were and we had our luggage driven to our apartments.
We were firstly greeted by many friendly and courteous staff, which were all willing and able to help us with any query we might have had. We collected our rental gear (only 100m away) and returned to store them in our room’s locker.
Our room was very well equipped with all necessities and we found no complaint. The presence of a balcony overlooking the slopes was a very exciting addition not to mention a very spacious bathroom.
Our first morning brought us the true delights of the aparthotel Olimpiades. We collected our skis and took 20 steps and we were on the slopes!!! There was no carrying skis up or down uneven roads wearing unsteady ski boots, a life saver.
Arrival back after a days skiing was just as easy, packing our stuff back into our locker and heading for the bar. The bar was very nice with a fine selection of beers and a very good menu for all of us with empty stomachs. It is also well situated in the town with it being in close proximity to quaint shops, bars and restaurants.
Our ski conditions were poor but our time there was not!! Good nightlife, great food and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere made it the best holiday I’ve ever been on. I would recommend it to anyone, just don’t book it out cause I want to stay there this year too. See you in 2008!!

We have just come back from a week at the Olimpiades and could not recommend it more highly.
The reception staff and maids were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Our room was a basic room for 4, 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 7) but all we needed.
The biggest advantage is the fantastic position right on the slopes so you can ski in and out. The snow was amazing and so we could not have been luckier.
The local ski school was excellent, the children’s teacher, Alfredo spoke excellent English and both girls improved amazingly during the week.
We are intermediate skiers and certainly did not cover the whole area in the week, the snow was wonderful when we left today and I wish we were still there.
Our favourite evening places were La Borda, La Copa and Huskys, all excellent food and very friendly. To be honest we did not have a bad meal and everywhere was very reasonable by ski resort standards.
Overall an excellent holiday.

Myself and three friends ventured into pas de la cassa for the first time (2nd time skiing in Andorra) and found that the 10mins walk form the bus to the accommodation luggage free was great.
The location of the apartments were second to none with the bar terrace directly off the the piste which meant that in the morning all you had to do was get your ski's or boards from the free locker provided with the room and ski to the nearest lift of your choice.
We found that the holiday reps, reception and bar staff all to be friendly and helpful and quick to answer any questions about the resort and the mountain.
The ski area of the resort is called the grandvalira which covers over 200km of skiable area which is fantastic and means that you can ski all day not getting bored of the same old runs.
Overall we all had a great holiday and found the accommodation to be value for money due to the location and convenience - would recommend to anyone going to Andorra.

A good note to start with, overall a great holiday, good food, perfect weather and great friends. There was twelve of us and we shared 3 apartments, which ranged in size some of us were lucky to get the most spacious apartment, and some not so lucky, overall clean and tidy and most importantly well located, when we eventually made it off the nursery slopes, life was much handier.
One problem that was noted by all of us was, the attitude of the staff, from both reception to the bar staff, not impressed at all. Yes you could say if it was a bunch of ill mannered yobs, a bunch of noisy gals, or a rude group of lads.
But no this was six well settled couples - a group of friends, so we did not understand the rudeness towards us from the very moment we entered the reception area. That although is a small detail that can be put right if the owners of the Olimpiades reads this!! I hope! Because it is a great place to stay and the food is excellent.

I’ve stayed at the Aparthotel Olympiads twice now and I’m going back this coming January. There is nothing flashy about it or stunning. But the positives definitely out way the negatives. The rooms are very large for ski accommodation. The aparthotel has a very nice feel about it. Generally the reps for panorama have always been grand, and this will be the 5 season in a row traveling with them.
I have traveled with my mates and my parents on different occasions all over Europe with them and they are 100%. The location of the aparthotel is second to none. Its unusual in France or Austria to be this close to the slopes without paying top dollar. The back of the aparthotel backs straight out on to the slopes so that even in early December and late season ski in ski out is always possible.
The aparthotel has rooms that will fit up to 8 people, they are big and pretty comfortable, TV, fireplace, balcony, kitchen and bathroom. As for downstairs, there's internet connection available, pool tables, a bar, restaurant, ski shop and other bits and pieces.
The Olympiads is only 5 minutes walk down hill to the town centre and very handy to all the bars and clubs.
As for a ski area, Pas De La Casa since joining the Grandvalira area has become extremely good and I would rate it up there with some of the big French areas, I traveled to Alpe D Huez as well last year and I def would say I prefer Pas.

After seeing dated pictures of the hotel online, we were really surprised to see a modern refurbished hotel in a perfect location in the resort. The welcome was great (but make sure you have your cash deposit ready) and the rooms were really well equipped, modern and clean.
The bar has a lot going on and due to it's location on the slope it makes it a perfect spot for lunch and due to reasonable pricing and good food, a great place for evening meals.
Would certainly go back again and would recommend to others
