These apartments were first class, well equiped and very clean. Ideal venue for a family holiday. just a 2 minute walk from the gondola so when you get off the slopes not far to go to get into a hot bath and then unwind. The ski schools here are brilliant and the facilities for small children are excellent.
Local eateries were cheap and catered for all tastes. Surf Resteraunt highly recomended, the famous argentinian steaks...........HUGE.
Definatley coming back again. :)

Did not stay at the St Moritze appartments. Wish to convey my thanks to staff of the St Moritze ski shop below accommodation for their excellent help and friendliness while using their equipment. Nothing was too much trouble and staff would go that little extra to help and make all the difference to a great holiday. Will be back most definately. M J Lawrence

Just returned from a week at the St. Moritz Apartments and can't recommend highly enough. Really spacious apartments which is very unusual for ski resorts. Apartments are modern and really well kitted out. Two TV's, one in lounge and one in bedroom and a huge corner bath in the bathroom! Lots of space in the entrace area to the apartment to store coats, salopettes etc as well as access to a good walk in ski locker. All staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. After suffering a leg injury and being confined to the apartments, one of the members of staff fitted a router into our room to enable me to connect to the internet with our laptop - even gave me a lift to the restaurant one evening! Don't buy food from the 'restaurants' on the slopes - terrible food and not cheap - it's better to come back down in the gondola and eat in town. We ate at a lovely little bar/restaurant every lunchtime just to the right of the gondola as you are looking up the mountain - sitting in the sunshine on the little balcony was a real treat - lovely food. Also ate in the restaurant opposite the apartments which was also very good (previous reviews didn't recommend) although the menu was slightly limited. El Moli on an evening was great - fantastic food and a really nice atmosphere. Free wi-fi connection if you have your own laptop. Live music one night (one guy with a guitar - not too loud or overpowering) and a magician another evening doing tricks for the kids at their tables. If you have booked a holiday at the St Moritz you really can't go wrong!

Our family stay at sant Moritz apartments was very worth staying , for our first time skiing it had everything we needed the cafe shop and chemist was very useful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
It was nice to be able to relax in the hot tub after a long hard day of skiing and the free breakfast discount was very handy to jump across the road for a quick breakfast before the start of the day!
The spare room downstairs was handy to keep our skiing equipment safe and easily accessable.
The resort overall was very pleasing, the snow wasnt the best but going back this February 2008 and heard snow is very pleasing.

Just back from a week in St Mortiz apartments.
Location is fantastic, you can see the gondola from the front door (or your balcony if you're lucky enough to get one!).
The apartments are spacious, clean, centrally located, the supermarket, chemist & ski hire shop underneath are a great and overall would have no qualms about recommending this location to anyone looking for a cheap week's skiing.
The resort itself is very small, very few restaurants, and of those that there are, they aren’t top notch nosh - but you'll cope for a week. If you don’t like chips with practically every meal, you're in trouble!
Everywhere seems to just have hot dogs / burgers / pizza / pasta and most places seem to serve Argentinean steak - defo not the best I’ve ever had.
The Italian restaurant is the one I’d recommend most, particularly the fantastic cocktails made by a really lovely bar girl from Brazil - but Cisco’s bar just up the road isn’t bad either.
I wouldn’t advise going to the 'restaurant' directly across the road from the apartments (and beside the Irish bar) as we tried it on the first night and nobody in our group (of 12) was impressed.
The Irish bar across the road from the apartments is also quite handy, and in the early evening would be the busiest in the resort.
Though alcohol isn’t cheap, for example a bottle of corona here in Ireland is Euro 4.50 and in the Irish bar was Euro 4 - though if you order a toastie & beer its only Euro 5.
Although overall my spending money for the week was half of what I expected it to be.
Defo a good resort for beginners, we had a few intermediate / advanced skiers in our group who did tend to get bored with the runs that were open. Enjoy.

If you staying here this season (or any other season) you wont go wrong here. This is honestly a near perfect place to stay.
The staff are friendly, very helpful and the rooms are top notch with 2 cable TV’s (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) his and her sinks in the bathroom and a corner bath/shower so BIG that it would put any 5 star hotel to shame.
They have a handy ski locker room and a ski shop and supermarket attached and the gondola is about a 60 second walk away.
There is a fantastic "deli shop" across the road for your Heinz soups, traditional (yes, traditional) pasties, pies and the most delicious korma and/or madras curry and rice to take back to your room and microwave for tea! All for pennies.
There's an Irish bar also across the road which is pretty lively (Sky Sports for the guys) but watch out if you like your Magners or Red Bull, with import and export taxes this is going to cost you....be warned. Stick to San Miguel (draught) nice and cheap.
All in all, it is a quality apartment based hotel that is local to all the restaurants, bars and shops and more importantly you can literally roll out of bed and onto the slopes!!

Excellent apartments- we travelled by car from spain to meet our friends at the St Moritz- we had a room big enough for 6 persons with a Jacuzzi bath- fab.
The ski equipment shop has every thing you could wish for at a very good price- I invested in ski boots this year!
The cleanliness of the whole complex was amazing- the facilities excellent.
Breakfast was hit and miss- but enough to fill you before the slopes. we had excellent skiing conditions.
Local bars and restaurants very close by- highly recommend the Mexican for the best Argentina steak ever!
Local Italian across the road good for Pizza and Pasta. all round an excellent location at a very good price.
Will go back soon!

Sant Moritz appartments - brilliant all round!
Big appartment, very clean, towel & toiletries changed every day, mid-week linen change.
Friendly service, fantastic location one minute from the gondola - so easy to descend down for a cheap lunch in the appartment - supermarket located below the appartment.
Skis - booked with www.arinsal.co.uk before we went - £102 for one adult and one child. Really happy with my (silver) skis and boots from the Sant Moritz shop up at the ski station - really friendly staff and very helpful.
Got the skis on Sunday afternoon ready for first thing Monday - just asked to go up in the Gondola even though the lift pass only started the next day - typical of the resort, people being friendly and helpful.
Locker up the mountain was pricey but worth it - 54 euros for the week.
Tips: buy ski passes before you go - we paid £132 for a two for one deal via First Choice, buy ski clothes and goggles before you go.
Hope this is of use, as I looked on this website prior to going and it helped me decide to book the appartment - usually been half-board before, but self-catering is so much easier due to its flexibility.
