"we arrived 3am early hours and were greated with a warm welcome by mario the owner who is very pleasent ,he took us to our rooms ,we were well pleased with the views and the cleansiness of our apartment and the whole the morning we were greated be marios wife she was also very pleasent .and the breakfast was exellent.they have live entertainment on every week and play nice background music in the bar area where you can sit outside and enjoy a drink ,and an evening meal if you wished to do so.for people going b&b this consists of a continental breakfast which is coffee ,tea .milk orange ceareal ,eggs, cheese, ham.,toast or soft fresh rolls with butter ,jam, or marmalade and fruit of the day ,so just to point out that it is a continental breakfast which is ample. you can also pay for a full beakfast @ 3 euros for 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 sausages tomatoe ,beans.mushrooms 2 slices of toast with butter and jam or marmalade, they also have a full menu for food and drinks well recommended.the road is less than to mins from the sellas and brings you out straight onto the siesta pub and the 3 little pigs.turn right and you are only 5 mins stroll to the start of the strip ,with tavernas like the target ect and chineese restaunt on the way.we are looking to go back there next year

love to mimosa and mario if you read this

"me and my boyfriend have just returned from a week in sidari at the Sellas hotel...mimosa and marios were the perfect hosts all week, really friendly!!! Perfect location, nice and quiet but not too far from all the bars, shops and restaurants. The food was lovely and the apartment, though it was very basic it was very clean and linen was changed 4-5 times a week! The only down side was the was more like a wet room!!! But we would highly recomend this hotel for a cheap get away!! brilliant holiday!!!"

The unforgetable sellas hotel Corfu.

"So myself and my partner bought a holiday through Tompson to Sidari corfu in July 2009.Corfu was absolutely brilliant!and if you've booked or thinking of booking a holiday there im very jellous! Unfortunately if you're booking a holiday in Corfu and staying at the sellas hotel then im not so jellous as my stay was not so brilliant. However i have been balanced and rated the hotel a 7 as it was not all bad. The hotel is located along a gravel drive off the mian road (dont wear heels :) perfect for a bit of quite and privacy when you're catching the rays.

The pool was.. well a pool.Nothing fancy. It was refilled daily and around the pools edge are quite alot of sun beds and some umbrellas. The sun beds are fairly new and comfortable. The pool side was swept, litter picked and tidied daily so it made for pleasant sun bathing.

The rooms where very cool so sleeping was easy. Our balcony was spaciously aranged with patio furniture. They where basic which is good if you spend alot of time out of the hotel in the day. The showers are square blocks surrounded by a shower curtain so water went all over the bathroom! Plus each shower was placed in front of a frosted window over looking the pool which meant everyone could see you. Our toilet broke several times and the staff where not so keen to help us fix it. Also out maid only came 3 days out of the 7. I might also add, there was a considerable amount of mouse droppings near out room which again the staff where not so happy to help with.

Best holiday ever!

"Went there last year for a week, it was a last minute thing as we had no money. The holiday was absolutely awesome, couldn't fault it in any way shape or form. Marios and Mimosa are amazing, those are the owners of the hotel, very professional and kept clean and tidy at all times. Food is amazing, not too expensive, really good air con, never got biten once! I went with my two brothers and parents, there is something for everyone! DO NOT under any circumstances book days out with your travel rep, they are an absolute rip off, they will be hounding you on the first day to book this that and the other, and charge about 4 times what the shops there do. We spent 200 euros on a boat trip, our neighbours at the sellas hotel spent 40 euros on the EXACT same trip, we were on the trip together. There is literally something for everyone. Not too wild or full of charvas, nice friendly people. Dont be suprised if your dragged into a bar, its part of the crack. We met some people who we still keep in touch with, id love to go back and see Mimosa and her son, holiday was so awesome, I cried all the way home, then for a week when I got back, and STILL havent got over it to this day. People are friendly and your made to feel at home, im just surfing the net now looking at prices! Finally, its bloody hot! the type you can stand, got a lush tan, couldnt keep the lasses off me when i got home!"

Just returned from a great stay at...

"Just returned from a great stay at Hotel Sellas. The rooms are basic but very clean and the beds are comfortable. TV channels were a bit naff but we didn't go away to watch tv anyway!

The owners of the hotel are really friendly, the bar is nice and the pool is clean and well cared for with lots of sunbeds, parasols etc.

This hotel is ideally located as it is within a 1 min walk from the town centre but is set back off the road down a private lane so that it is not noisy late at night.

Would definitely go back.

My daughter (17) and I have just...

"My daughter (17) and I have just arrived back from a lovely holiday in Sidari, staying at the Sellas Hotel. Marios and Mimosa who run the complex are great hosts and look after the hotel very well. It is clean, tidy and the pool is kept sparkling clean also. The rooms, although basic are clean and enough space for clothes, although we did take a couple of spare coat hangers, which we left for the next visitors! (We find wherever you go, there are never enough coat hangers!) A fridge in the room is great. Took a small cool bag and small ice blocks and made rolls for the beach daily. Local Greek tavernas gave great value for money and excellent food. Konaki restaurant highly recommended with excellent service by Dimitri and his english wife. Use the local coach companies for trips, as so much cheaper than travel reps. The big red coaches are excellent (just down from the Three Pigs Restaurant)and the driver Tasos manages to get the coach through the narrowest of roads. He also looks like Peter Andre! Lovely beaches, clean always and the Canal d'Amour end is quiet and friendly. Very safe for children and non-swimmers. We found we were not harassed by anyone and had a safe, enjoyable holiday. The Sellas is highly recommended as a quiet, relaxing complex. The breakfast was sufficient to set you up for the day and the friendly atmosphere was so relaxing.

One point to mention is to remember to take mozzie spray and a plug for your room.

Also worthwhile paying for the air conditioning on the night you arrive!

Overall, we found the hotel, the area, the locals and other villages and towns we visited on the island lovely. The area is very green with fir trees, etc., and the sea is clean. Kassiopi is also very beautiful as is the rest of the island.

Highly recommended.

Great Holiday

"Sellas Hotel has a great location with the beach, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The inclusive breakfast was better than expected but the rooms were very basic with no cooking facilities, useless for self catering.

The pool area had plenty of sun loungers and was generally clean enough although the Chlorine in the pool was too strong and turned whites to yellow.

Air-con is a must but is quite expensive at 40 euros for a week.

I probably wouldn't use this hotel again but loved Sidari.

sellas hotel sidari

"the rooms are tiny with twin beds one wardrobe two small drawers a tiny fridge a kettle two cups and a spoon . the air conditioning is good but cost 40 euros per week. the pool isnt very clean but there are enough sunbeds for everyone and the baby pool is ok. some plug sockets hang off the wall in the rooms. the maids are quite rude and dont really do a good job also some things went missing out of the rooms. the snack bar is expensive eg 3 for a large coke 2 for a can of coke bacon butty 3.50 but the food was nice and the waitress in the morning was great and would always try to please. the location is ideal close everything that you might need ack off the main although the brochure doesnt mention it being up a dirt trf the main tack off sidarif the main road . oh and some of the showers flood the bathroom floor. other than that we had a great holiday and cant wait to go back next year so good accomadition recomended please."

Great Location

"Enjoyed our weeks stay here. Fantastic location - close to sea, shops and night life but tucked away enough to stop any noise.. Pool area great with really shallow end of pool enabling those wary of the water to cool off safely. Breakfast adequate -hotel snacks available during day/night very good. Room basic and we did have a problem with bats in balcony roof which left quite a mess making it impossible to sit out here, but it did appear that this was just our room. Trip to sunset beech highly recommended. We would definitely go back and recommend to others. Great holiday."

Nice hotel.

"Stayed here for a week, and our only complaints was that we were hidden away at the back of the hotel and that the verandas wern't private - there was just one long veranda across 4 rooms making it difficult if you wanted a quite 5 mins.

Apart from that, as is typical for Greece the rooms were basic but clean and the staff we're all friendly and helpful.

Oh and be warned of Michalis's bbq cruise - what this actually consists of is an hours coach journey, 10mins taxi boat to a small stoney beach where the temperature is well over 100 in the shade with 4 other boat loads of people so you have to fight to get a working brolly for that shade, 3 hours later you'll be picked up and taken home. Joy!
