Sun Apartments

The Sun apartments are ideal for families. As soon as you arrive you are met by Charlie and Memet. They make you feel at home and nothing is a bother.
The service is good and food excellent. The apartments are large and the cleaners do a good job. We have been to these apartments three times and have always enjoyed ourselves.
If going on trips you are better to go round the corner and book them as you can always pick up a bargain.
One thing we liked about the Sun apartments was that we could go shopping and leave the older kids and they could get food and drinks and the staff would give us the bill when we came back.
Once a week the staff have a barbecue and it is worth the money. If you have any problems the staff are always there to help especially Charlie and Columbo.

When I came here on holiday the welcome was fantastic, even though it was at half past two in the morning.
The room was very spacious and clean and there was always sun beds going.
I tried venturing out into Marmaris during the night but I always ended up back at the apartments. The atmosphere there was fantastic. After telling them your name once they remembered it and they always made time to talk to you.
With a bit of luck I will be going back to the apartments sometime this year.

Me and my family went there for the first time last year, and we are already looking to book it again for this year also.
The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with anything you needed. When we arrived we were put on the ground floor and we wanted to be up higher so they moved us with no problems at all. Rooms are very, very clean, with everything you needed in them. The atmosphere was mint, and we all loved it loads and met loads of new friends that we will keep in touch with for a long time.
I would advise to anyone to go there you'll no regret it!

We were a party of 4 people, all retired,2.30 am, we were given a third floor apt which we thought was a pigeon loft ,it was in the old block, no lights on the stairs, it was awful, the stained sheets had holes in them, dirty crockery that was still on the draining board ,dirty mouldy fridge, big gas tank stuck in front of the sink, we asked for a move into the new block for the night and were put in an apt that had not been cleaned ,we just had clean sheets and towels for the night ,there was no hot water and the showers were mouldy. We saw the rep the next day and were moved .I can’t believe that the Thomson, first choice, and Libra, use the sun apt.

My husband, teenage daughter and myself stayed at the Sun Apartments in August 2006. We found the accommodation to be very spacious, we had a 2 bed roomed apartment. The bedrooms had twin beds, with a wardrobe and side table, one room had a dressing table, with an air conditioning unit.
The main living area was huge, although there were only two sofas which converted to beds, and a patio set. The kitchen was basic, with a fridge, sink and units, 2 ring cooking unit and a kettle. The room was cleaned daily and the sheets and towels were changed twice. The sheets were very worn, with cigarette burns and were a very horrible shade of grey.
When we arrived we were met by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The pool and bar area were clean with plenty of sun beds which were free. The apartments are surrounded by bars and restaurants although we were never disturbed by noise, everything shuts down its music at midnight.
Whilst we would stay in Marmaris again, I don’t think the Sun apartments would be our choice, I feel the rating in the brochure did not reflect the actual accommodation given.

Had a great holiday at Sun Apartments. The apartments although basic were very large and very clean.
Pool area again was spacious and clean there was never any towels put on sun loungers unless they were being used we could always find a sun lounger what ever time you went to the pool. Found the staff to be helpful and friendly never any hassle to get you to eat at the apartments or to participate in anything you didn’t want to.
The location is excellent in the Armutulan area of Marmaris. Lots of restaurants on the doorstep with the centre of Marmaris a short dolmus ride away.

I've been going to the sun apartments for the past 5 years or so and I absolutely love it! You couldn’t find a nicer bunch of people even if you tried, the staff are so friendly and helpful and they remember you year after year.
The rooms are huge and cleaned daily. The overall complex may not be as plush as some of the others but all in all you get a much better experience of Marmaris here. The beach is a 10 minute walk down the road or there is the dolmus or taxi local for a very cheap price! Its not to far from all the main attractions but is in a lovely area where you have no noise from bars nightclubs after 12am etc.
The apartments cater for all and are great for families with young children as they will be looked after by the staff! If you are looking for a good night out the Konak restaurant is a really good place to go as the staff there are absolutely fab and wait on you hand and foot!
I would advise anyone interested in going to Marmaris to stay at the sun apartments, I promise you will have a holiday to remember!

My husband and kids have went to Sun Aparts 2 years in a row now and loved it. The rooms are basic and I agree the entertainment could be organised a bit differently to give holiday makers a change but this is a fantastic family run place that are VERY FRIENDLY and make you soooooo welcome.
The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh bedding and towels. What more do you want when on holiday. We spend all our time at the poolside not in our apartments. The staff look after you from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave - saying goodbye as your bus is leaving. I have done Turkey with higher rated accommodation and never got the treatment and care that I have received from these apartments. We love it. First Choice Rep was not great - only seen her once but that ain’t the apartments fault.
First Choice need to look into their staff a little closer. This is a quiet part of Marmaris so if you are looking for great nightlife that goes on all night this is not the part you want to go to but it is fantastic for families who want a nice time chilling at the pool. FAB FAB FAMILY RUN APPARTMENTS - WILL BE GOING AGAIN TO THEM DEFINITELY.

The sun apartments are dirty and not at all a nice place to stay.
The staff where not nice people either, the holiday rep visited us on the first day and we never seen her till the last day, although we asked to see her to tell her we did not like our accommodation.
There was no cooking utensils no kettle ,microwave as indicated in the brochure the shower was not working properly and full of mould.
