This is a fantastic hotel! The standards are amazing throughout the whole place. Have been to turkey before, to another 4star hotel, and this one is far superior. The staff are so friendly, especially the animation and bar staff (Leo, Gino Serkhan and Pirlo are all good fun!). Sometimes they can be a bit too friendly, but its all in good fun! Always someone cleaning something somewhere! The restaurant is amazing, it is on the 6th floor with fantastic views out over the whole of Gumbet.
The pool area is spotless and there is no shortage of sun beds. The animation staff do their best to amuse you, doing things like aqua gym water polo and games. They also leave you alone if that’s what you want. They organise a weekly trip to Alykanas, the big club in Bodrum, and its brilliant. They really look after you and make sure you get there and back safe.
The food is good, lunch is served at the sister hotel next door, and its a bit disappointing, but the snack bar is open so you can get lunch there no bother.
The rooms are really big and spacious. The decor is good, and they all have balconies. We were lucky enough to get a sea view at no extra charge! They are cleaned everyday, sometimes a bit too early for my liking! The minibar is good, you get water and soft drinks in it free of charge.
Its only about 5mins walk into the centre of Gumbet, so its nice and quiet but close enough to enjoy all the fun!! Gumbet is a great resort, lots to do and it feels really safe, all the staff in the bars look out for you. Some of the Turkish men do give you hassle but if you are firm with them they will back off. Best bars are pane vino and x bar.
The all inclusive in the hotel is fab, you can get cocktails beer spirits, just about anything really! Although, they are strict on stopping it at midnight, and to buy a drink can be pricey.
I would highly recommend this hotel, I intend to return as soon as I can. Probably one of the best I have ever stayed at. Book to go there now!
The rep for my travel is really nice too, and you actually see her quite a lot, which is unusual for a tour company!

We arrived early hours of the Monday morning, a little dubious as the hotel was only recently built and it was difficult locating reviews from previous guests. On our arrival my husband, daughter and I had a very good first impression. Huge marble and glass reception, and it was immaculate. Our room was facing the courtyard with a small balcony.
The staff, from the chambermaids/man to the managers were always courteous and helpful. The hotel is large with 6 floors, with the restaurant on the top with amazing views over the town and bay of Gumbet. The food was beautifully cooked and very varied, there was always plenty of choice.
The pool is large with access via steps to the small shingly beach. Plenty of sun beds for all. The animation team appear twice a day 6/7 days a week. If you are not into loud music with the team prompting you to "Jump to Pool!" then the beach or excursions are probably more for you.
The hotel was always clean, with the domestic staff still cleaning in the early hours of the morning. Waiters and bar staff were always pleasant and most couldn't do enough for you. Be warned though, if you hold strong feminist principles then you may get a little fed up with getting by passed at the bar when waiting for drinks. Men and children come first. However, when you get to know the staff, this does change a little.
The hotel is situated in a very lively resort which is aimed at the younger market, also very much with the British in mind. Lots of bars line the beach all touting for your custom, but most leave you alone if you make it clear you're not interested.
We have been back a week now, and miss Turkey hugely. It was our first visit and we would go back again. I can't comment on any excursions as we went purely for a relaxing holiday, but there are loads of water sports to take part in. The Turkish people were wonderful and friendly and are brilliant with children. The staff, in particular the animation team made the holiday for us.
There is still building work going on in the hotel, but it isn't too disruptive, that is the reason for the rating that I gave it, otherwise it would have been higher.
One other piece of advice though is to go to Bodrum to shop and to mooch around, it is an exceptionally pretty town with very good shops for all pockets.
Hugely recommended.
