Hotel looks stylish but bedrooms are very small and air conditioning was very poor. Swimming pool is small but with the beach being a stones throw it doesn't matter. Staff were friendly and beach attendants were brilliant. The breakfast was ok if you like bread or melon.... more

dont fall for the pictures or the 4 star.. i stayed for 3nights.. the service was horrible.. the rooms were dirty we had to change or rooms 4 times... we were not allowed to speak english the staff were very rude the hotel and the service was the worst part of my... more

bad service all i can say is that at the reception no one is frendly u have to pay for anything u take and the hotel is not even worth it. u have to pay for a cup of ice 2$ and they wont even get it to ur room u have to go down to the pool bar and get it and they might even give u an attitude and after 1200 no more service. u feel like ur at school.

I was amazed to get such a lousy treat from this hotel facilities and staff. first of all the check-in , we got bad rooms , 1 was near a very noisy club without aircondtion the second was ....you will not beleive it ....with terrible smell - I was amazed beacued they even opened the window so they knew it was smelly :-((((( After arguing I got allternative rooms ( they lie and said they didn;t had any ....:-(((( ). second , breackfast is served in the open space between 2 buildngs of the hotel - at 09:00 AM it is hot ..very hot... more

After spending 5 nights in ISTANBUL a great city, we moved to MARMARIS(AMAZING CITY), the assistance at DALAMAN airport and the friendliness of the reception staff at POSEIDON HOTEL, was amazing like too goog to be true, but (1) as we entered the room it was noticed to be TWIN BEDS attached to each other where our reservation was for double king size bed, but the answer was all the hotel rooms have twin bed.(2) A/C very week as if you're using a fan. (3) there is a safe box in the room but its locked in case you wanna use it you have to rent... more

Recently returned from a lovely week at this hotel... Would definately recomend looking at their webstite gives an acurate insite into what the hotel look like. The hotel's staff were very friendly, it was clean and tidy. There was a good choice of food in the evening and a fab lunch menu! My only complaint is that our air -conditioning in our room broke on a number of occasions! The hotel is beach front and has the most amazing scenery, unfortunately the beach is very overcrowded but is like this everywhere in mararis...... more

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 week trip to Marmaris. We had a great time and didn't really want to go home. The first room we got in Poseidon was on the first floor with a tiny shower cabin where water was always leaking onto the floor and we didn't like it. As there was nothing else available at the moment, we had to spend there 2 nights, then we got a front sea view room on the third floor. It was fabulous! We spent 4 nights in Poseidon hotel. Our first impression was of the room since we arrived at night. The room was small and not well designed spacewise. The tub was more like a half-tub so if you are planning on long baths better look elswhere. We reserved a double bed room but when we got there we were told all rooms had 2 single beds that we "can put together" to make a double bed. Obviously, there's a big difference between the two. This hotel was directly on the beach with wonderful views of the sea and immediately adjacent to all the fun activity along the Marmaris seafront promenade. The price was extremely reasonable including a dinner with a huge variety of choices and a good breakfast. The pool and pool bar were nice also. There was a water activity rental that included jet skiing, parasailing etc. very near. During the evening there was free stage entertainment at every bar/restaurant along the promenade that all shut down at 1 am on the dot so the hotel was... more

Had to find alternative hotel having had a bad deal from GOLDTRAIL HOLIDAYS/abacus green hotel. The poseidon is a lovely clean modern hotel spotless through-out, with a great position right on the beach with views all the way round the bay. Staff by pool lovely and friendly. Would def stay there again.One tip though you have to sneak water or soft driks up to your room , if they catch you it makes them angry, as 1 of our children found out!!

We returned a couple of days ago from our holiday in Marmaris, Turkey where we stayed at the best hotel we have ever been to - Poseidon Hotel. The hotel is only 4 star but the service is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and everyone at the hotel are friendly aswell. The food is delicious - Every day there would be hundreds of different dishes ranging from traditional turkish kebabs to delicious vegtable soup to sweet chocolate pudding, all served beautifully and cooked to perfection. The Poseidon Hotel, was a great experience. I arrived after midnight due to the connection from Dalaman Airport. The staff in the reception was very frindley and serviceminded. Before I got my roomcard, my suitcase was already on its way to my room. I haven't expected to get food at this late hour (even I had paid for dinner). But two minutes after I arrived at the room, they brought me a dish with sandwishes - very nice. I had a fantastic view overlooking the Marmaris bay, and everything on this hotel was just great.
