We were not disappointed on our first visit to Turkey, even though I managed to break my toe on arrival! The shops are very cheap, but nothing is real, don't be fooled that it is. The beaches are very crowded, and people look like sausages in a rather large pan, sizzling... more

Great fun!

Had a really good holiday although we were a little out of the season and the hotel wasn't very busy, however the Nomad is a family run hotel, all the people are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean, a big thankyou to Ali, Jan, Jinade and Mustafa who were good fun round the pool. The hotel is situated above a bar called the Amadeus, highly recommended, food is excellent and staff are good fun - see Hasan and Don there, they will make your night one to remember. We arrived in hotel in the early evening. The staff were welcoming and friendly. My husband and i had an advantage because my husband is turkish amd we got on with the staff well. The food was great and the I would not recommend taking a shower before 7am or late in the evening as the hot water is limited. The hotel is situated for easy acceses to the bus and taxis. It only took us 15-20minutes to walk to the town centre. Our room was on the top floor which can become very hot but there is air conditioning. Our room over looked the road.... more

Arrived at the Nomad about 6pm in the evening, My first impression was not a favourable one as the traffic noise was extremely noisy. The room was basic but clean and the shower only gave hot water before 7am or after lunch time when the solar panels had a chance to do their job. The pool was small but clean as the staff were constantly cleaning the pool and the surrounding area, My only gripe was the fact that the pool was 1.50m deep in the shallow end and 1.60m deep in the deep end. Not much good for non swimmers under 6ft tall.... more

i stopped at nomad with 2 friends and we really enjoyed our stay everybody was really friendly and made us feel welcome all the staff worked really had at making your holiday a good one we all made loads of friends in marmaris as the people are so friendly and i enjoyed every minute we are all going back to nomad in october i would recommend this hotel. more

The nomad is a great hotel the staff work really hard 2 keep you happy the rooms are all clean, thanks to ali and all the staff it's the best holiday ive ever had. iam going back in october hopefully to the nomad hotel it just wouldnt be the same holiday if i didnt stop there, cheers more

I've been going to Marmaris every year for four years (sometimes twice a year). Hotel Nomad is a brilliant place, the staff are all very friendly and always keen to help, nothing is too much trouble !. The drink prices in the bar are also encouraging !! It's perfect for a 'fun filled' or 'quite as you like' holiday, you can have the best of both worlds in this hotel - it's simply the best in Marmaris !!. Everyone is very welcoming and it comes highly recommended for your low maintenance holiday getaway, invite all your friends... more

I had been to Turkey twice before they were both very good hoildays but marmaris and the Nomad Hotel topped the lot. The staff are very friendly and kind. The hotel and its rooms are very clean. My boyfriend and I have just got back from Marmaris and we had a great time. We were a bit worried about it only being 2 star as well, but there is nothing to worry about. The rooms are very clean with cleaners every day but basic. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. You pay extra for air conditioning, but it is well worth the cost of £25. There is an area for sun bathing with sun beds and a pool with a pool bar, where the drinks are reasonably cheap (and buy one get one free at certain hours) and a snack bar, selling average... more

Me and my boyfriend were a bit worried about going to this accomodation, with it only being a 2 Star, but we were pleasently surprised when we got there! The people were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were basic but very clean, we were in the roof of the hotel, it was really hot in here!! reccomend a lower floor. You can get a dolomus (if you dare) just outside the hotel which takes you down to the centre and the beach. It costs 1 million lira to get down (about 40p) it takes about 5 minutes. If... more

We had a lovely holiday.We had a good room over looking the front of Hotel.The staff are very nice and very helpful.Do try the resturant next door,its called AMADEUS.The people there are so nice.Marmaris is such a lovely place to be.Can not wait to go again.
