We stayed at The Sestra Apartments this year in Jul/Aug, this being our first holiday in Turkey. Not having done much research about the country we went with an open mind but had nothing to worry about as we had the most fantastic time. (14 days). The staff are most hospitable and some of the most friendly people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they would do anything for you.
This was the first year the restaurant attached to the apartments was open and although we like to experience a variety of their cuisine at several different restaurants we always found ourselves eating at Sestra. Why? We ate down at the beach front a couple of times and at Bodrum on the harbour and nothing compared to the food we had at the apartments. We also found that eating in Bodrum was more expensive.
We would definitely recommend this holiday and will be returning with more family next year.

This is our first time in BITEZ and we absolutely loved it. We came for two weeks in September and stayed at the Sestra Apartments. The accommodation was very good because it was quite and relaxing and had fantastic views across the bay. The staff at the apartments were very friendly and helpful.
Bitez itself is a lovely place with lots of good restaurants and no noisy night clubs / bars. We loved the way the beach is scattered with bean bags and cushions, and at night everything is lit by candle making it very romantic and ideal for couples. There are no English bars or English pubs full of the usual low quality people and the resort is mainly used by the Turkish themselves.
The apartments themselves are very spacious, reasonably equipped and in a great location. It is rumoured that the best views of BITEZ bay is from these apartments. The pool bar is due to open in 2007 which will complete this small personal atmosphere provided by Sestra. The only negative is that the maid didn’t leave enough toilet tissue or towels which wasn’t the end of the world.
Go here for a relaxing quiet break with amazing views and gorgeous pool. I definitely recommend the moonlight cruise offered locally.
