Club Candan Apartments

Club Candan is probably the best holiday I have had, there is lots to do and the weather is very hot.
The locals in the hotel are very friendly, there is mixed groups there from families to young and old couples and small groups of lads and lasses.
If you book with Thomsons your rep is quite arrogant and not very talkative and didn’t acknowledge any of us once.
The pool is great, the hotel is very clean and the locals take pride in what they do, I will be definitely booking again for next year.

We booked to go here twice in the same year having read some of the reviews on the Portland site. I can honestly say these are some of the best apartments we have ever stayed in.
The location is ideal for all areas, close to the Market, beach, and town centre.
The only thing I can think of that lets this down is the amount of times that the towels and bedding were changed. (They were clean when we got there and only changed 3 times during a 2 week holiday).
The pool was fantastic and the overall cleanliness was good, there was plenty of entertainment throughout the day and the kids club was excellent.
Overall this was one of the best holidays we have had.

These very modern and clean apartments are fantastic. Pool is great, there is lots to do on the complex gym, jewellers (reasonable prices) sauna internet cafe photographer etc.
We all had a great time and will definitely be going back. I cant recommend any particular restaurant or cafe as we ate out every night and never had a bad meal all prices were great as well.

First time in Turkey and definitely not the last. Club Candan is a great place to stay, everyone is so friendly.
The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are really helpful. We ate at the apartments a few times and the food is 1st class, I personally recommend the pasta carbonara.
Other great places to eat include The George & Dragon, Chris and all the guys there can't do enough for you and their dancing is ace. The Beverly Hills offers some good deals and lovely food.
We booked our days out with Raymond, The Lazy Days boat trip is a must and the Dalyan is a great experience, the Mud Bath is hilarious and the story behind the Kings Tombs is so romantic.
We've already decided to book again for August next year and I can't wait.

The place was lovely and everyone was wonderful.
The place was always clean and safe. For the children there was also a good kids club so you can have time out.
If you are going out for a meal try a place called Summer Rain they are all great there.
The only thing I can complain about is that there is not enough information about using currency in surrounding islands i.e. Greece. We went there and had only Turkish money and they would not take it!

Well what can I say it was the best holiday ever. I want to thank ozzy and Oscar for making it a great holiday. There was nothing that I saw that was bad and when me and my mates went out clubbing there was no harassing or nothing.
In the morning you will be woken up at 5 am as there is a mosque right next door but you get used to that. Also we went on the Dalyan cruse which everyone must try it’s awesome. Drew Anthony and Paul are club reps there that do all the entertainment and they are such great people they make you feel welcome the same as all the bar staff there. There is a market not far from the hotel which was good and plenty of bargains. Make sure you take English money with you because you get more for that!
I will definitely be going out there next year. We only had 3 days sunshine but it was still a great holiday. Especially the storm we had I would just go back out there to see it again! This is definitely a family holiday or for teenagers like my self and also it is great for couples who want to spend time together.
The staff we willing to do anything for you they help with everything.

It was our first time in turkey and we were going soon after the bombs went off but we had a brilliant time we were in a group of 13.
The apartments are the best we have stayed in, there are 2 rooms, 1 with a sofa bed and TV and then the bedroom with air conditioning and 2 single beds. The rooms were cleaned every day. The rooms are so clean fresh and modern because they are so new. The best place we have ever stayed in abroad.
The hotel has a mini shop and a salon where you can have your hair done and nails done. I had my nails done and most of them are still on after 3 weeks so well worth it. The staff are absolutely lovely. The Thompson reps are Drew who does the bingo and Paul and Anthony who always wanted me to buy him a bounty.
The entertainment is brilliant we found ourselves staying in the hotel bar a couple of nights. There’s bingo and quizzes, dancers, and the Turkish night on Saturday. There’s happy hour from half 7 until half 8 we always made sure we were there for that. Then there’s the waiters who can’t do enough for you they are really friendly especially Oscar.
There are taxis right outside the hotels entrance and he likes Tom Jones and he’s got a dog called Mary. There is a mosque round the corner from the hotel but I promise after the first couple of nights you won’t hear it and we stayed for 2 weeks. The market is just round the other corner where you can buy everything from food to bags and gifts.
The bar we went to was called Summer Rain they have brilliant food and are really friendly people. Go to this bar. Also just down the road is George and the dragon also lovely people. Then carry on going down the road and you hit the beach. Turn right to get to the beach bars an all these bars have brilliant entertainment every night of the week if you want karaoke go to the turtle bar. also 1 bar I think called the Caracas (not sure thou) has to get a mention because this has the best entertainment like dolly partan Madonna Shirley bassey belly dancers fire eaters break dancers go here for a great night of entertainment we went here nearly every night. There are good shops but they do tend to try and get you in all the time. The drivers have no rules on the road so you have to be very careful when trying to cross.
we went on a few boat trips which are good and you have free beer we took a taxi boat to Icmeler a few time and we went to the Venice bar which had brilliant entertainment like Michael Jackson cocktail makers and belly dancers we went to turtle island and this is a must we didn’t seen no turtles but we did see dolphins on the way because you go past dolphin island so keep your eyes peeled.
We had a brilliant time and I will definitely go back sometime the people are so nice I miss them Oscar from the hotel and the waiters from the summer rain bar. If you’re going you we have a brilliant time have fun bye xx

It was fantastic I would go back any day, all staff where good, weather great, I had my friend there for the first time and she loved it to, cant wait to go back next year. Restaurants where great, if you go to turkey you have to try there strawberry tarts my husband and pal said there lovely, markets great to, all rooms at the candan where clean every day, all staff at the candan where very helpful if you ask them anything you needed to, when we all go back next year wee want to get a big room for us all to share, there is plenty of transport to get around in handout of town taxis out side your apartment and buses down the town not to far away, best places to eat Charles. George & dragon. Summer rain very good, great shops in the apartments as well. The boat trips are great to go on as well, hope to see you all soon.

The Club Candan was the best hotel I have stayed in. All the staff from the cleaners, receptionists and bar staff were really friendly. I had never been to Turkey before and after about 2 days I felt like I was one of the locals. As you walk past in the streets they shout your name etc. I didn't find it too pushy at all.
The apartment we stayed in was massive with loads of room, the only down side was that I didn't think there was much storage space in the apartment but it was constantly being cleaned.
The Candan is located next to a mosque and on the first morning I was woken up at 5am with praying which concerned me but after the first night I never heard that again- It true you just get used to it.
Round the corner from the Hotel is the best restaurant. Its called Summer rain and all the staff there did all they could to make our time enjoyable. Big shout out to Suphi, Sunnyy, Muzzy, Alex and Michael.
The entertainment at the hotel was brilliant and there was always something going on. If you go out in the evenings the best place I found was BAR X, it wicked.
Look forward to seeing the same old faces next year or I’d be really disappointed!

The hotel was brilliant and new, my husband and I cannot believe that for the amount of money that we paid for, we would be getting a very big room. The kitchen has got cooking utensils and pans on it. The swimming pool is in the middle of the complex and next to it is the bar where you can eat and drink after sun tanning and swimming. I recommend that you need to try the Turkish massage, of which I have done my self inside the hotel, but beware it is not for the faint hearted, you need to be outgoing and adventurous to try it, also for a laugh. If in case, the swimming pool is full, there is always the beach, which is only about five minutes away from the hotel.
You need to try the day trips that the reps are recommending as it was fun. One of the trip was going around Marmaris, visiting the Turkish delight factory and going inside the real leather shop/store, it was fun because I get to model the item as well (they have got like a catwalk run, sorry if I have ruined it for you, it is meant to be a surprise).
About ten to fifteen minutes away from the hotel is the main Market where you can buy a 'real fake items' like leather jackets and coats, designer T-shirts and anything you could think of. Just next to it is a very big place for restaurants, you have got choices of Chinese, Spanish, Indian, Local food and a lot more restaurants to choose from.
The only down side is that, I do not enjoy shows so much but there are shows every night below the apartment and when I was trying to sleep from my day trips, I couldn't sleep because of the noise and even when it stops I cannot sleep anymore because my sleepiness is gone until about 5, 6 or 7 o'clock in the morning. But every individual is different and you might enjoy the shows, a lot of people did.
Saying what I said, I would still be coming back, it is worth it.
