My family have recently returned from a fortnights holiday in the Amaris apartments. We had a really enjoyable holiday. The apartments are situated in a quiet square that is off the main road. They are located just 15 minutes walk from the resort centre.
The rooms are clean and quite spacious, equipped with everything you would need.
The staff were very friendly and entertaining. They went out of their way to get to know everybody on a first name basis. The atmosphere was relaxed and very hassle free. The pool was clean and reasonably sized, just perfect for cooling off in the sizzling sun. Sunloungers were always readily available.
There is a poolside bar which is relatively inexpensive. It serves a range of snacks during the day and also provides a more varied menu for the evening. Try the pizzas (which were delicious).
My kids met other children of their age and had a ball. If you want a great family day out then try the Jeep safari (It's hilarious and would bring the child out in anyone).
There are plenty of shops, restaraunts and bars in the area. You can take a five minute walk to the local supermarket (Kipa) which is the equivalent of Tesco.
We had a great family holiday here and would definetely return.
Altogether I would reccomend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a great holiday with all amenities just minutes away.

Just returned from the Amaris Apartments. The apartments are about 2km from the beach. The walk is around 15 minutes and very straight forward. The accommodation is extremely clean and the room we had was a great size for 2 adults and 2 growing boys. The pool looks quite small however the true test was the kids who both enjoyed it. We were lucky in that there were 2 other sets of kids of similar age wich makes life easier. The kids can be quite independant whilst at the apartments and the staff are great with them. There are around 25 rooms and the staff will be on fist name terms before the end of your holiday. There are bars closeby and due to local by-laws the music must be off by midnight. There is a poolside bar whicj is fairly priced and the aparments do great food (the pizza and the garlic bread is fantastic). There is a good mix of familys and couples who all seemed to be looking to relax and not party.
If we could offer any advice we would say that shopping locally i.e the small shops is very expensive. Go to the KIPA Supermarket which is only about 300 yards away. Fantastic and owned by Tesco.
There is no pressure at the apartment to go on excurstions in fact we were not even offered any. he apartments clearly want repeat business and we would certainly go back.
A small complaint would be that I missed my tea in a mug.

Amaris Apartments are very good and there isn't much to complain about.
The maid comes in every day to clean your apartment and every other day to give you clean towels, I'd heard that I shouldn't leave valuables in the room as the maids aren't very trustworthy but I left my digital camera and money was left around and nothing was touched.
The bar staff are also very friendly, one of the biggest attributes to the hotel!
The apartment was very clean, with a very good shower!
They provide a hair dryer, kettle, toaster, hot plate and some pans. Me and my boyfriend found the food we could make limited and often ended eating downstairs or at a restaurant.
The pool was excellent with plenty of sun beds however the only downside was that the pool closed at 6 o'clock as the hotel opened up to the public as it became a restaurant.
There were restaurants only round the corner (2 minutes away literally) but we ended up taking a 15minute walk to the harbor as we liked the beach view and it was more lively. There was also bar street, which was more lively, but very expensive, like 10 lira for a bottle of Effes (there local beer) and even more expensive for imported stuff.
The markets were good, a market 10minutes away from the hotel (Marmaris market) only on a Wednesday however the Thursday market in icmelar is bigger and better, you can get a dolmus there for only 2 lira.
I would certainly recommend this hotel, but not really for families with young children as there wasn't much to do for them.

We just came back after a week in marmaris staying in Amaris Apartments ive got to say ive been to turkey 8 times now and this is 1 of the cleanest and best apartments we have stayed in. Staff were great very friendly always there when you needed, rooms were immaculate cleaned daily, pool area was great always kept clean. Food in Apartments was fantastic we stayed there most nights for something to eat (thanks to chef) :p Amaris isnt far away from centre of marmaris about 15-20 mins walk but can catch dolmus which drops you right in centre and takes about 5-10 mins and theres always a taxi which cost no more then 8 lira. Would really reccommend theses apartments we def going back in october see you soon guys :)

Just came back from staying at Amaris a week ago, we went as a group of 12, but 8 of us stayed for three weeks!
Loved staying here, the staff were friendly especially Turkish! Who would always have a smile on his face!
East London never lost a game in water polo, which we played most days in the pool!
The rooms were a reasonable size, with a lovely view from our balcony, seeing as we were on the corner, we had two balconies! The room consists of a kettle, fridge, toaster, hair dryer, and two wardrobes! The maids were in every day cleaning the apartment too.
Over all, I really enjoyed it at Amaris and would def. Recommend it!
Sophie.

We have just returned from our 1st visit to Turkey and would like to tell you how impressed we were with Marmaris in general but mostly the Amaris Apts. The accommodation was amongst the cleanest we've ever been in and the staff were the friendliest!
The rooms were a very generous size and there was everything you could need in the kitchen, down to a toaster which is unheard of in Spain! The food at the Amaris was cooked to perfection and the pool had the cleanest water of any pool in the vicinity.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area if you don't fancy the 10 minute walk into the centre of Marmaris. The market on a Thursday is a must and only a 5 minute stroll away. The Diana boat trip is also a must, excellent value for money. The jeep safari is also great fun if you like getting wet! (wear old clothes for this as you get very dirty as it is so dusty).
Security is very tight in light of recent events there so don't let it put you off going, you really don't know what you're missing! All in all our holiday was one of the best we've had and we will definitely be back there next year. 10/10.

I have been going to the Amaris Apartments for ten years now and it is the best place I have ever been.
Spain isn’t a patch on Turkey. During the 10 years I’ve been going I became friendly with all the staff even the owner, his wife and son.
My family thought they would try other places in Turkey but end up back in the Amaris apartments.
We think it’s very relaxed and peaceful. It’s not too far away and it’s not too close to the night life.
I am going again this year and know it’s going to be as fun as the last the time.
I would defo rate it over 10 if I could and truly recommend it!

I have just retuned from Tenerife this year all inclusive. We normally come to Amaris apartments like we have the last 4 years and it is great! :) But we was disappointed about Tenerife and disappointed we didn’t come to Amaris for a 5th year!
Amaris apartments are very nice n clean the people who work there are very kind, friendly and helpful. The food is nice!
The pool n bar area are very clean and lots of room to sunbathe!
I would definitely give this 10/10 :) And return! I would recommend this to all ages!
