We arrived at atlantik appartments very early morning and were given a room on the 3rd floor but the lift was out of order so had to walk up with 2 suitcases a buggy and a tired toddler! But we were helped by the night receptionist. I was very dissapointed with the room it was very out dated and old fashioned but clean enough. We had no hot water so was very concerned about having to shower a toddler in freezing cold water. At this point we were seriously considering moving to another hotel. We spoke to our thomson rep the following day and...

Disaster!!!
from mikeandeb
The review written below titled "never again" is largely accurate. Those others who gave it a good review must be easily pleased or got a room much better than ours. Our review- We have just returned from Altinkum on 17 Sept 2007. Whilst we enjoyed the holiday it was marred by our BIG mistake of choosing the Atlantik apartments. Our room was terrible. Problems were, Tv not working- took 3 days to get it working on its 2 channels. Cooker not working, Water not even luke warm. Impossible to shower most...

Great!

My wife and I (both 29 yrs old) have just returned from a fantastic week's stay in the Atlantic appartments. We booked 3 days before we left on the Thomas Cook website and got an absolute bargain. We had a good but terribly timed night flight arriving at Bodrum airport at 0400. Met by grumpy T.C. rep but comfortable transfer in minibus to resort. First impression of appts : 1980's and a bit tatty 4 storey building but clean. Basic room of adequate size but very basic utensils and pans and electric plug-in hob (we didn't use any of this...

Best place ever
from geordiejulie_7
When i stayed at the Atlantic Apartments in June 2005, i was pleasantly surprised how immaculate the rooms were. It is the best holiday i have ever had and with the accommodation being 100% it made it all the better. As soon as i got there with family we were made to feel very welcome. The bar staff there were the best. The barmen were Zana and Emra, all they ever done was make our holiday more pleasurable, especially round the pool. There was also Linda and Ali who ran the turkish bath business, i recommend a turkish bath to anyone,...

Never again
from A TripAdvisor Member
I booked the hotel last minute based upon good reviews on this site. What a mistake! The room they allocated us was filthy. Walls were caked with fungus caused by air conditioner (£4 per day). Beds had unironed torn sheets covering filthy mattresses that you just couldn't sleep on. Cooking utensils were old and filthy. Surfaces were greasy and uncleaned. Toilet was limescaled and filthy. An uncovered two-ply flex ran through the hole where the shower head used to be attached to the wall to a light fitting! Dangerous or what? The cupboard...

Have just had a great week at Atlantik.

Have just had a very nice week at Atlantik Apart Altinkum Didim, with my wife and daughter. We should have booked a longer holiday. The Atlantik Apart is clean and rooms are cleaned daily. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The pool with its bar and snacks was very handy. The Atlantik is ideally located for shops, beach and transport stops outside the door. The buses travel different routes so it is best to mention your destination to the driver and he will say if he is going there or not. The cost of a bus is 1 YENI...

Great Holiday at Atlantik
from mrs glasgow
Have just returned from a smashing holiday at The Atlantik Apts in Altinkum. I holidayed with my 2 daughters aged 25 and 27 and found there was something for everyone there. We were lucky to get a one bedroomed apt on 5th floor with a good view over the pool. Room was kept spotless by a friendly housekeeper.Everything we needed was supplied except a tea towel! Can leave dishes to dry as it is very hot. We had a great Turkish bath in the attached bath house with English speaking lady. Small problems with plumbing and electricity but seems it...

Our Lovely Holiday at Atlantik, Altinkum
from A TripAdvisor Member
My 2 daughters (15 and 8) and I have just returned from a wonderful fortnight at the Atlantik Apartments in Altinkum. Our 1 bed apt was lovely (apart from a noisy toilet!) staff all friendly and helpful. The pool was excellent, luckily just before we arrived it had been pretty bad and the Thomson rep had read the riot act and while we stayed it was religiously cleaned every night! Restaurants all pretty good, would recommend Tarzans (dolphin Square) run by Tania (from Newcastle) and Iljan (he looks like Johnny Depp in Pirates of...

superb in every way
from A TripAdvisor Member
Hi, Just returned 4 weeks ago and we stayed at the Atlantik in Altinkum. The apartments are spacious, cleaned every day (very friendly house keeper). Nicely furnished and you would expect for self catering. apartments located in the quieter part of Altinkum and very close to Dolphin Square. And easy access to any part of Altinkum. Mini super markets on your door step, more resturants across the street especially the "The Blue Rose" facing the apartments. Hairdresser on the same street etc. We loved the apartments...

My family stayed at Atlantik for 2 weeks and we returned home last night. Rooms very nice, clean and bright. Kitchen suitable for a self catering holiday as we tend to eat out in the many cheap bars etc very nearby. Bathroom, Shower toilet and a sink, what more do you need?... more
