Hotel was clean and basic and was cleaned every day. That was about the only good thing in the hotel. Entertainment was very poor. You also need to keep an eye on your bill as spoke to a few people who were overcharged. Theres a pub/restaurant just up the road called... more

Just returned from a lovely holiday at Sun City. Staff there were extremely friendly, it is fantastic for young childen as there is a small kids pool, kids club, playground and mini disco. My children (8, 3 and a baby) loved it and my 3 year old and 8 year old are begging... more

If it's just accomodation you want then fine! I stayed at the Sun City in September and was satisfied with the appartment until I smelt the musty mouldy smell in the bathroom! The evidence of the smell lay on the shower curtain and around the bath seal!! Went for breakfast... more

Got back from sun city a week ago after a 2 week stay the hotel was clean and the rooms nice. The staff were excellent, Romeo, Smiler Jason etc very helpful and entertaining. I would have rated it 10/10 if it wernt for the incident I had with exchanging money at reception.... more

ALFIE, ALFIE, ALFIE, ALFIE!!!! - THE BEST BARMAN EVER from lolly80
This is the second time we have enjoyed the fun and frolics of sun city. The apartments are still cleaned to a high standard everyday by the maids and the whole complex is very clean. Our two young boys (8 and 12) had plently to keep them occupied during the day and in the evening. They participated in the water polo and volleyball tournaments. The staff also took part in this. Speaking of the staff, they were even better than last years staff. It was a pleasure to be around such friendly people. Just ask them for the sun city dance and they will even teach you the moves!! They were all really entertaining. We are now semii fluent in turkish phrases thanks to alfie and schmiler. Nothing is ever too much and they do their best to make your holiday enjoyable. The food was excellent especially the feta salad and the turkish pancakes as well as great value for money. The bar catered for all ages, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails on offer. They also had two happy hours everyday, Buy one get one free!!! We loved the place so much we are going back in October for the third time and then again in summer 2007. We are already counting down the clock. 84 days to go!!!!

What more can I say, this place rocked big time. My 3 kids had such fun, made lots of new mates. Hubby and I were also well pleased. Maid service was every day, and was very good and thorough. Bar staff and waiters were very friendly, and got to know everyone on first name terms. I won't forget our holiday there in a hurry, and hope to book to go back next year.

Had a nice time, but had a bit of a shock too. A bit of a walk to get to the shops and not very much around the Apartments. Made a nice change to see cows, bulls and goats being fetched to graze on land outside the hotel; our 9 year old enjoyed watching this! He was a bit bored because there were no bars/restaurants that had pool/snooker tables and no inflatables/rides for him to go on. We had 2 16 year old girls with us as well, and there wasn't much for them to do either. However, the apartments themselves are nice and clean, although basic. Maids are very good and the majority of staff are friendly, especially with the kids. Pool area is nice and is kept clean. We went mid July and it was HOT!! This was our first time to Turkey, and we will definitely go back, but might go to a busier resort - maybe Bodrum or Marmaris. If you have booked though, don't worry, it is far from a disaster, and I am sure you will have a nice holiday!

Sun City Apartments deserve their excellent reviews, on arrival one can't not notice how clean the hotel, apartments are. The rooms are large, cleaned daily (including towel change) and have fridge, TV, toaster, kettle, cutlery etc and air con for a small additional price. The hotel has a large pool and smaller childrens pool with ample sun loungers. In addition the hotel has a swing park for the kids, on site supermarket open 7am to 11pm (prices are competitive), volleyball pitch, gym (free to use) and turkish sauna / massage. The hotel has a bar which is open early to late with happy hours (prices are the same as other bars/restaurants). The food is fine, we found it cheap to eat, at present they were offering half board for adults for £6 a day with kids free or half price depending on age. The staff were friendly and always available to help. Entertainment is limited with shows on three to four nights a week, in addition there is a shop on site selling cd's,dvd's, gameboy advance/psp games cheap, ideal for the kids! The beach is only a short walk away, its popular at weekends with the locals, so is busy, there is plenty of small shops near the hotel with the Saturday market within walking distance. Side town centre is only a twenty five minute walk away via the beach. There is plenty of local restaurants offering some great food, we found Umdts at thetop of the road (left out of the hotel) was one of the best, service was great with a good variety of food on offer at very reasonable prices. Would I go back to Sun City, well just ask my kids !

Had a really great two weeks. Sun City appartments were lovely and clean rooms cleaned and fresh towels daily. The town of Side is only about 20 minutes walk away where all the shops are and restaurants but, if you didnt want to walk far there are plenty of eating places near the appartments where the food is more reasonable. The Pelican next door to sun city is a very good place to eat and the waiters will do everything they can to cater for all tastes. We went the end of May and saw the loggerhead Turtles in the sea which was quite incredible. There are also plenty of local supermarkets if you wish to cook your own food but just a kettle and two ring stove in the appartment. Overall a grat place to stay plenty of entertainment on an evening but all finished by 12.00.

we have just returned from these apartments, what can i say! what an excellent place to stay. the maid service was superb, towels and bed linen were changed daily and the apartment was thoroughly cleaned, she would even wash the pots if you left any out. the kids pool was excellent for little ones but the large pool had no shallow end so could be dangerous for non swimmers. the bar and waiter service was done on a tab system, they just charged it to your room and it was up to you when it was settled, we did not use this service as we went to the restaurant up the road. if you go self catering do try umets pide and kebap, excellent service and food. we found it excellent value for the money and they treated the children like prince and princesses. altogether a very enjoyable stay and would recommend for families.

myself and my sister wanted a holiday were we could just chill out and relax. this was the first time i had been on holiday for about 17 years so did not no what to expect. because my sister travels all the time she had warned me that because this was a cheap holiday not to expect to much. when we arrived at 4 in the morning i wanted to go to bed. we where shown to our room and it was lovely bigger than i has thought it was going to be. when i awoke a little later and looked out of the balcony the mountains were fantastic and the complex looked very clean. as it was the start of the season it was quiet which was what we wanted. The staff are very friendly and helpful. we found it cheaper to eat outside of the complex the best place is a place called umutz. (walk out of reception go left and it is at the top of the road on the corner) this place is very cheap and the staff are really nice the best one is oulash( tell him the british army girl sent you) . The place was starting to build up for the season and i would love to go back later this year but this time i would take my two children it was brilliant . i would rate this complex higher than the rating in the brochure.the photos do not do it any justice its lovely

we stayed at sun cityin may for two weeks and were very impressed with the hotel they catered for all our needs and the maids were fantastic my son was very poorly with the sickness and diarorea bug and they waited on us hand and foot. At first it didnt look much cause we arrived in the middle of the night but once we awoke in the morning we were very impressed. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you have any mobility difficulties as the hotel is up a dirt track but we believed the staff make the hotel and they really did.

this was our third year coming here and we love it!!! so much so that we got married here july 2005 the owners hasan and his sister gulan all the staff and jengus(who we now call the wedding planner) arranged everything all the legal stuff and even the flowers it was perfect we have already booked to come back july 06 for our first annerversary
