Me and my family went to the Kleopatra Mete Apartments on the 10/7/07 and had a fantastic time! We went to lots of restaurants, but the nicest one had to be 'Florida' which was just a 5 minute walk from the apartments. We met the best people who owned the bar at the apartments they're names were... Sabri, Sybel, Hatat, Bubba, A Gramdma and Sybels brother Erin. They were really nice and they made our holiday the best ever!
Went for a quiet stroll down to the canal which would be just a ten minute walk. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. We would defo go back to the canal next year. There are lots of excursions, something for everyone. We cant wait to go back next year and spend all our money! (Going for 3 weeks next year!!) Two weeks was just not long enough! x

well what can I say, me and my family have been to icmeler for 4 years then we come across icmeleronline, and the Mete, have previously stayed in the Grand Aquarium supposedly 4 star, however, the Mete apartments are massive compared to there and spotlessly clean, we know the resort well, so it is always lovely to go back, however this year was even better due to the family who ran the bar next to the apartments, Sabri and Sabel and family were great, nothing too much trouble, food they supplied fantastic and local, even my fussy 8 year old tried everything, the day we arrived we got back after our evening meal to find that Sabri had decorated the bar and managed to get a cake to celebrate my birthday, after being informed by my son, I can even forgive him putting my age on the banner!!!! And on our last night they arranged a party for my 8 year old who's birthday was two days after we got home, they were fantastic, so much so we are back for 2 weeks in October and 3 weeks next July, and we cant wait. Met some fantastic people who we hope to see next time and also taking a few new people over to enjoy the Mete and Icmeler.

Apartments were typically basic but had adequate facilities and were immaculate with excellent daily maid service. We had a tremendous holiday at these apartments. They were ideally located - quiet street just around the corner from all the busy restaurants and bars and a 5 minute walk from the beach.
The three restaurants which are closest to the Mete, however, were hard to beat. The food at the Moonlight, Selam and Rising Sun restaurants is excellent and the staff and service in each of them is second to none! The poolside bar, "A Fin", was run by a British couple, Pat & Archie, who were so friendly and helpful.
Having lived in the area for many years, their local knowledge was excellent and the advice and recommendations they gave out on restaurants, bars and places worth visiting was spot on. And... if you fancy a late night sing song by the pool, Archie, an ex folk musician of some note, is only too happy to oblige! Pat's poolside snacks are also well worth the trip and the bar is open to non residents. We will definitely be making a return visit. Thanks very much Archie and Pat!
