Greenworld Apartments

spent 2 weeks in aug 2011 and was very happy overall , clean all over from reception to rooms . we had a double room with 2 batrooms which was very nice , we were the opposite side to the pool which was good as it was quiet and had a nice breeze from the mountains room no.114. staff were friendly , expect Alkan to sit beside you and sell everything there is to sell , i.e. turkish bath , internet , sauna etc. 1st week wernt to bad to get a sunbed but , 2nd week we had a large group from Wales who made it a competion to get beds early , they seemed to put towels down at 2am (so sorry , the Welsh are the new Germans) they use a card like system for buying food and drinks so keep all reciepts as we had on afew occasions someone putting their bill onto our room no. places to eat , when in Icemeler , head off the main strip as you will find cheaper place to eat , we ate at Champion Bar quite alot as the food was very nice and Mehmet the owner would collect and take you back to the hotel, Dolmus for 4 is about 6tl or taxi 10tl.

just returned from a 2 week stay at greenworld our 3rd visit in as many years and as usual it has been firstclass again ,this place is ideal for people who prefer a more laid back holiday and people with children ,its an excellent accomodation though a bit of a walk if you want to go into icmeler town ,the dolmus stops outside the apartments and its 1.50lira into icmeler or 2.50 into marmaris the buses are frequent and the drivers will stop wherever you ask them to.back to the apartments ,very well kept ideal rooms very spacious .noticed some people mentioning toilet rolls ? this is self catering therefore you provide your own simple.i cant find a fault with greenworld ,the only thing to beware of s the card system make sure you check reciepts when signing and add up your own reciepts ,one particular person on reception found it amusing to add on extra lira ! apart from this the whole of the staff where brill especially the bar and restaurant staff steve,ozzy ,sinbad nig .ali you made our hol again so thankful to you all and we love you loads see you next time xx ps the weather was excellent a few hours rain in 2 weeks give me turkey anyday :)))

i have just returned from greenworld spent 2wks there with my daughter 16 and my mum, we hada fantastic time there from 1st to 16th july 2010, i have to say it's the best place to stay in icemeler, the whole place is so clean and the staff are excellent, they all workso hard and long hrs to make your stay brilliant, a special thanks to ozzy,ali,lee,steve, and rose...fantastic people made our stay fun with their entertainment all day and night around the pool, which was kept very very clean,ample of room around the pool ,with a slide pool too, childrens pool and jaccuzi's at either end . i wasa bit weary at first , as i had read the reviews about the trouble with wasps, but we didn't find it a problem, they only seem to come out around dusk, and have gone by dark, and if you eatinside the restaurant they don't bother you. so all i can say to you is if you are thinking of going , then go it's great!! . no mosquitos as they fumigate every evening the whole town, the rooms aregreat , we had a 2 bed apartement, each had it's own bathroomoff the bedroom, my mum had her own and so did my daughter and i . we each had our own balcony too. they have a card payment system, were by all your drinks,food,shop,go onto your room number and you pay when you want to...we paid every other day so'snot to get in a mess and keep a tab on our money...it wasn't a problem ,as you get a slip to sign every time you have anything.maids came in every day to clean and change towels, the only thing i didn't like was not being able to put loo roll down the toilet, it goes in a bin next to it , but that was cleared every day to , so wasn't to bad, and alot of countries are the same. now to the weather, well what can i say, ti was very hot 47 degrees every day, and not a cloud in sight, needless to say we all have a brilliant tan! the evenings dropped to around 30 degrees, we had air con which you so need, it's 25 pound a wk but worth every penny.i would recommend this place to everyone, and i am saving up already to go back next year and take friends aswell. go on folks ..go for it you will love it

wow another great holiday at green world brilliant stuff entertainment everything so good cant wait to go back again next year this was our 2nd year running at green world eatch time its better they are so friendly people and fantastic with children would recomend this hotel to any one SO MAKE SURE U GO GREEN WORLD IS THE BEST

Stayed at Greenworld for the second year running, once again rooms were spotless and pool area as clean as could be. The only thing stopping a mark of 10/10 was the entertainment being somewhat erratic, the staff tried thier best but was not as good as last year (hello Menic!), All staff very friendly and special mention to Temil, Martin and the girl who did our cleaning Zenyib. Shop on site was a little pricey, better to use Ahmed down the road. If you are thinking about going on a boat trip the best by far is Captain [--], great staff and fantastic value! Don't be put off by the name!

Me and my children, and brother and sister in law had a fabulous time at Greenworld Apartments. The staff were fantastic, especially with the children. Martin who is one of the waiters is a star, he is really funny and very friendly. He made our holiday. Korai one of the other waiters doesnt speak very good english, but he is lovely and tries his best to communicate with you. He even carries a piece of paper round with him that has turkish translated to english for him. If anyone goes to Greenworld please take Martin some Jack Daniels over, he will pay you for it . They cannot get it in Turkey and he loves it. Will definately go back again next year, cant wait.

this was my first time goin to turkey, when we arrived at greenworld apartments i was very glad.the staff are very polite and helpful , the rooms are very clean and the maid was there daily.The food is delicious, the pool is really nice, it was very easy to get the bus into the shops because it stops right outside the hotel.I had a really good holiday, i am soon to be going again , im lookin forward to it ! xx

this was my first time in turkey i had a fantastic time, the staff were polite and were always there to help.eddie made me laugh and is good with the kids, the food was great in the hotel and in icmeler especially alins grill the rooms were spotless and spacious. The maid was there every day cleaning and bringing fresh towels.I love the pool because it is very big and was cleaned every night.
The dolmos stopped out side the hotel every 5 minutes also i will love to go back to green worlds aparments. BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all we had a great holiday. This was my 8th time to these apartments and i must say i was a bit dissapointed. The room was great big clean and tidy. As only two of us we had a studio but was the big enough as it was the end one. I did find this year that the staff had changed and they werent as helpful and could be rude. They would only be nice to you if you were buying or going to turkish night. The card system in hotel is good but please be aware as me and my boyfriend got overcharged once but it was all sorted and apoliges were given to us. the Dj at the time was annoying i dont think he is very good of a morning we would up and the music would be really loud and of a night time we would go to bed and the same again music loud even though it was supposed to stop at 12:00 it never. Th eprices of food in the hotel are good and the food quality is average but what do you expect your self catering.I would personally advise to eat in the town or old village there are some superb bars and reasturants eg. Three bells(try the Korean) Pop ins Eilens chippy if you fancy a change as there is only so many steaks and chickens you can eat :). Pig and whistle is a lovely bar and so is Ayisma, Heaven, Pop ins, Tin Tins (cocktails only 5 lire wooooooooooooo anyway hope this helps many thanks

all in all i had a fantastic holiday at the apartments
all the staff were very friendly and always there too help
The apartments were cleaned everyday , with fresh towels also
they have a lovely pool, with is cleaned every night
they also have a great restaurant which you can go and grab a quick meal
it is located in one of the most beautiful spots in icmeler
and is only a short 5 minute bus ride into the town
and it is also very cheap too catch the bus , which stops right outside the apartments and they run regualrly.
the entertainment was good , but could be slightly better
i would have too say though out of all the places i have stayed when i have visited Turkey, i would say these apartments are one of very few i would defenitly come back too
