I booked the Club Sun Village after reading such good reports and I can honestly say we were not disappointed.
I travelled to Icmeler with my wife and 2 children (daughter aged 7 and son aged 9).
We stayed at the apartments for just 1 week but i really wish it had been two we had such a good time.
The apartments are kept very clean as is the pool, which is great my kids loved it and we found it very hard to leave each day for a wander round the resort. Never had any trouble getting a sunbed even when we didn't go down til dinner time there was always space round the large pool.
All the staff are great and made a big fuss of the kids. The bar and resturant food was very good.
Resort centre only about 10 mins walk away and lots of resturants and bars, there is a market on Wednesdays if you like that sort of thing (not for me but my wife thought it was great lots of bargains!!)
Beach is about 15 mins walk and is very nice.
I would recommend getting the dolmus into Marmaris they are great fun and really cheap too.
I have no problem recommending the apartments we all have a great holiday.

Just come back from 2 weeks at Club Sun Village (me, my husband and our son aged 11). This is our 6th visit to Turkey (1st to this area) and by far the best. The apartments and pool are both immaculate, apartments are cleaned everyday and all the staff are very friendley and helpfull. The pool is fantastic couldn't get my son out of it, best of all no problem getting a sunbed (i hate it when you have to get up at 6am to get one, def none of that here). The restarant food was great we ate there loads of times, however its only about 5-10 minutes walk into the resort centre where there is loads of choice. There is also lots of bars, shops and a great market on Wednesdays. I'm not a beach person but its only about 15mins walk away and looks really nice. Also you can get a dolmus into Marmaris for a change of scene, although if your like me you'll not want to leave the apartments they are so good.
Don't worry about the coach transfer it flyes over plus you get a loo break half way through (Great if you've kids).
One last thing the refreshments at the airport are a rip off so take your own (I always do).
We enjoyed it so much we're looking into going back again next year.

We stayed at the Club Sunvillage in May this year, we had a great holiday, the place was lovely, and the people were great, really enjoyed every thing about it, hope to go back again next year.
The accomadation was clean and tidy food was very good.

We were on a two week holiday with eleven of us in our party, the apartments were in a perfect situation, approximately 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
The apartments were excellent and the staff were all very welcoming and polite. The apartments were cleaned daily to an excellent standard. We were quite aprehensive about taking a holiday in Turkey as we had heard both good and bad reports however we will most definitely be returning next year.
We visited Marmaris on two occasions once during the day and once during the evening - well worth a visit there are some good bargains to be had in the Bazaars - the Turkish people are the most friendliest welcoming people we have ever met.
If you visit Icemeler definitely pay a visit to De ja Vu restaurant - great fun you won't be disappointed, Angels also (Sergar - especially is the most funniest waiter you could ever meet) the food and hospitality are second to none - and finally Gunay Bar - ask for Speedy - a very hospitable bar could not do enough for us - a genuine friendly guy and their Sunday Lunch is unbeatable.
Without a doubt one of the best holidays we have had. The transport from the airport to the resort is approximately 1 1/2 hours but seems to pass very quickly, and the coaches stop half way, for a rest break, toilet facilities, refreshments etc etc, so not a problem at all.
The exchange rate is better once your are over in Turkey so our advice would be to take English money with you and change it once over there - there are also plenty of cash machines in the resorts. Crime rate is extremely low approximately 1% and you feel extremely safe at all times even if travelling alone.
A must is taking a boat trip, book either through your tour operator or privately (there are many on offer) and they work out much cheaper - always barter, you will get a better deal.

Me and my family stayed at the Sun Village Apartments (sister apartments to Club Sun Village) in July 2007 and I recommend it to everybody. The staff are fantastic, we were made welcome from the moment we arrived. Callum was the main bar person and he seemed to be there nearly 24/7, but despite long hours he was always polite and cheerful. He also gets in the pool mid afternoon for a play with the kids or a game of water volleyball. The area around the pool and the pool are both quite small but we found it an advantage as we got to know all the other guests which was nice. The bar in the complex serves full english breakfasts to order and light snacks throughout the day and was very nice. The weekly BBQ night is well worth the 15 or 20 lira. As for cleanliness, you could not find a cleaner place to stay. The rooms are cleaned daily and the pool area was also tended to daily and was spotless. These apartments are family run and it shows. On our last day Fatima (part of the owning family) presented my Mum with a jar of home produced honey to take home which was touching. It was so hot we hardly ventured from the pool for most of the holiday, but should you wish Icmeler centre is only a 10 minute walk away. It is situated in the old town area of Icmeler which was nice because you got to see the locals going about their daily business. The Mosque is also very close and you do hear the call to prayer at about 5am! Overall a fantastic place to stay and strongly recommended for anyone who hasnt been to Turkey before, it is a lovely place to experience your first visit.

We had the best holiday here ever. All the staff are very friendly, loved the kids, even joined in the throwing in the pool bar staff went in too.
The bar/restaurant food was great. We had a two bedroom apartment it was very spacious, clean and had plenty of pots, plates, and cutlery. We had a good working fridge with small freezer compartment and could fit six bottles of water in it (kid’s loved frozen water as it lasted longer).
There is a nice heart shaped pool and its not to deep also a shallow pool for toddlers. There is a pool table and some arcade machines. Their Turkish night is a must food is cooked in front of you by the family and chefs and there is 4 different types of entertainers.
It is situated in the back of Icmeler away from all the noise of the main streets. It’s a nice walk to beach about 20 minutes but that includes stopping at bars and being handed flyers.
There are plenty of shops and bars/restaurants and a good market on Wednesday so leave room in your suitcase you'll need it and the mini markets shops are within 5 minutes.

Me and my family went to turkey and we had a great time it was boiling hot but the best holiday eva we all want to go back.
The staff that were there where really nice to us and they throw my brother in the pool and he had never been thrown in the pool before but he came out and he soon got over it. When we where on holiday it was my mums birthday and they planned a birthday party and she got a free cocktail and it was called a sam special sam is someone that worked there he made everyone laugh.
Robbie was someone that works there to and use to wind my mum up like mad.
we all recomend that people should go to club sun village because they make you feel very welcome and you can never wish for a better holiday. The apartments are always clean and you just will not want to come back home .

A really enjoyable holiday. Staff were the best ever made you feel very welcome. Robbie and Sam were in a league of their own.
We had a two bedroom apartment which was cleaned daily. Everywhere so clean. It is 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town. But you never want to leave your complex they are that nice.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and great value.
The only slight fault I would find is the kitchen area is so small you can’t be bothered eating there.
I would recommend these apartments for the friendliness, cleanliness, and atmosphere. ENJOY.

Best holiday ever! First time in turkey and never had such a good time.
The apartments were spotless and the staff were brilliant! Especially ibo, sam murat and Robbie.
The food was lovely and we are trying to book for this September! Best resort for anyone who wants to relax and be stress free.
Only thing I can say is I wish id have known how good it was going to be . I would have stayed allot longer!

Icmeler is a lovely resort set in the mountains ten minutes from Marmaris ideal for couples and families, with an excellent range of restaurants and bars for all, very child friendly resort, lovely people.
The Sun Village and Club Sun Village apartments are family run and provide all you could need.
The staff are lovely, and apartments A1, we have been holidaying here for the last 5 yrs and the standards are excellent.

I stayed in Club Sun Village apartments in August last year and I had the best time ever!
The staff are all friendly, nice, kind, helpful and fun! One night they had a bbq and a Turkish night, which you must go to!
I’m going back there this year and can’t wait! If you ever go to Turkey stay here because you will have a ball.
The rooms are cleaned more less every day; the cleaners are nice and polite.
The apartments are run by a family so you know you will be treated well! I can’t wait to go back!

Brilliant holiday. Apartments spacious and clean. Cleaners come in every day and linen changed twice weekly. The staff are amazing and Ibo even got me a backgammon board to play with during our stay. the food in the restaurant is good and cooked to order.
I can't say anything but excellent. When our son was ill Ibo arranged for a doctor to come and they were brilliant to my husband and daughter when we were in hospital.
The pool is clean and beautiful. The walk to the town is not too far or difficult and there are many good places to stop and eat.
Thanks to everyone there, even Ibo's Dad who bought us some peaches from the market for our journey home.

I thought the apartments were great and the staff were fantastic especially Jo, Mehmet & Ken.
We had cold water at times but that was sorted out and we had a great holiday!!
Everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed it.
The staff make you feel welcome as soon as you get there!!

We had a great holiday here in 2005, staff were lovley especially Ken and Mehmed fantastic for shopping (but take english money). Markets are busy bought 5 designer fake handbags for a tenner well that's worth it!! Going back this year but instead of a family of 4 there will be 12 people . See you soon.
