Another fantastic holiday
10 / 10
Oct 2011, Cathy P

3rd year at CSV and we will be back!Ibo,Sam,Robbie and Smilie thanks for another fantastic holiday. These guys are amazing and will do all they can to make sure you have a great holiday. You are made very welcome from the minute you arrive until they wave you off when you leave. The apartments are bright, airy and spacious with a pool view and are always kept clean and tidy by the friendly maids and the pool and bar area are kept spotless by the staff. The pool is cleaned every night. The food at the restaurant is excellent thanks to the great chefs with a wide and varied menu available and compares favourably to other restaurants in the area.Always fresh food and generous portions.Turkish night is a must.bbq and entertainment-a brilliant evening. Also dont miss the sunday dinner-out of this world-one of the best i have ever had! Cant understand the negative reviews. We did not eat at the restaurant every night but that didnt change the staffs attitude towards us they wew as friendly as ever when we returned after a night out.We have never had to question our bills either.I have nothing but praise for these apartments. The staff work very long hours but always have a smile on their face and are kind, friendly and fun to be with.I highly recommend these apartments to anybody-you wont be disappointed.Miss you guys and my 'Cathy Special'(aaaaaaaah) cocktail. See you next year.

been to these apartments twice now and it always been nice.i dont understand the people go on a holiday and not try to enjoy it.İcmeler is a lovely resort with its little shops and pretty beach and club sunvillage is has a great locition and beautiful mountain views and only 10 mins walking from the resort center.the owners and the staff always been nice and they have chosen the best apartments of icmeler with thomsons last year and had the gold medal.so this should mean something.me and my family just would say that "go for it"

having been to turkey on several times, this is the worse appartments we have stayed at...day 1 on arrival at 5.30am you are shown to your room and your passport is left behind the counter just sat there in a pigoen hole and not secure...was ok in the morn/afternoon until the staff know what your are going to be doing...if you are prepared to spend your full 2 weeks in the appartments and eat in there cafe not a resteraunt it ok..but do not go out side for food or you will be made to feel like a leper....the staff hahahah never met such ignorant narrow minded people...only friendly when trying to sell you some thing i.e turkish night and that was a joke, since when did turks do street danceing back years ago..it not tradishion..the food takes about 3hrs to be served..3 of are party got ear infections on day 4 and we were only in the pool...at about 3am when the night man thinks no one is about they wash the whole bar and outside area in to the pool...the accomodation is very basic and small...the cleaner did keep it clean though i must admit...she was the best member of staff we came across..the bar closes when sam the most ignorant man ive ever met in my life says so...not a 4am as stated...my misses went for a drink at 1am and he said it was an effort to make one..the pool table was also a issue as he picked and choose who could use and wo could not..every time my 17yr old godson and his friend went to use sam/robbie would walk over and take the cues away...why because we didnt spend money in the greasy cafe.... as we have been to turkey before we have friends there who own there bar and resturant...they picked us on a couple of times this seem to cause tensions and we were made not to feel welcome by the club sun village staff...on an other time my friends daughter sat on a chair and the front of it broke...obi or who ever he was came over demanding money but when one family dropped a chair from there second floor balcony it was a laugh for the staff and nothing was said....when my 2 daughters were in the pool at 7.05pm it was a big problem, but when other people were in the same pool at 8.05pm it was ok.....on leaving the accomadtion they did help oter people with there bags to the coach and waed them off there was none of that for us the staff sat there watching the local football team on the 1 one and only tv at the bottom of the bar.....

Best holiday Ever
10 / 10
Aug 2011, 405

This was my first visit to Turkey and thanks to Sam, Robbie and the team I am planning to return with all my family. This time I went with my daughter and grandaughter. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. My grandaughter was a bit fussy with food and one day pointed to a picture in the menu which was duely recreated for her satisfaction (and she is only 4) I noticed that the staff tried to give equal amounts of attention to all of the guests and were always polite and cheerful even though they must have been tired in the heat. I didn`t figure out when they slept as they were there to check in guests at 4am making breakfast as soon as anyone wanted and still serving guests at the bar long after I had gone to bed. Thank you for giving me the best holiday I have ever had. I will be back.

ibo and his family are lovely , the cleaners are fantastic towels n bedding changed every other day the rooms are spotless !! if you dont spend money over the bar or eat there all time the bar staff dont like it as they get commisison on whats sold , our first week was fab but our 2nd i just couldnt wait to get home as certain members were so rude and ignorant towards a lot of people ...the appartments themselves and the area we could not fault and would return again if certain staff had gone ,but if you looking for a holiday were u want to stay in , flirt maybe bit more with the staff then deffo place to be lol and another tip dont run a bill up pay as u eat or drink as our bills seemed to a lot somenights but if you question it ooooo be warned the silence treatment begins !!

i would have to disagree with a few of the previous reviews we stayed at csv last year 2010 5 adults and 2 children we all had a great holiday. this year we stayed at a different hotel but went to csv for a visit we had a wonderful welcome from all the staff. we went to the turkish night we were picked up from our hotel and taken back at the end of the night. three times during our holiday we went to csv to use the pool and sunbeds every time we were driven back to our hotel by ebo or robbie. this is the most frienldy hotel we have had the pleasure to stay in. we will be back at sun village next year.

Jun 2011, happy chappie family

Had a great first time experience to Turkey and Club Sun Village apartments.
The owner Ibo and staff are so friendly and helpful. Sam and Robbie are great guys; real 'gems' and the owner is such a gentleman. They always have a smile and a welcome for you. The previous reviews saying that staff ignore you if you do not eat and drink at the apartments was not our experience. We did not eat in all the time as we wanted to experience the many lovely restaurants outwith, however we were always greeted on our return. The food is good at the apartments and there is wide choice available. The drinks are reasonably priced. The pool is fantastic; really clean and spacious. There were always plenty of sunbeds available at this time of year. The Turkish night was great and at £10.00 is really good value for a 3 course meal and entertainment in a relaxed environment around the pool. The food was freshly prepared, delicious and served at your table. Although the meal is served over the course of the evening it is worth remembering this is not a British but a Turkish night and is supposed to be a relaxed and sociable experience over the course of the night. As this is a family run set up and not too large a complex, you receive more of a personal touch as the staff know you by name and chat to you. They even came to the bus to say goodbye at the end of the holiday and have a cuddle for you. The larger hotels in Marmaris didn't do this and guests struggled with their own luggage. This does not happen at Club Sun Village! Air conditioning is recommended and although other comments say this goes off when you take the fob out of the room we found it cools really quickly when put back on. (£4.00 per day). The room has a safe at a cost of £10.00 per week. The apartment itself is basic but clean and comfortable and we never experienced no hot water. There was no late night noise that kept us awake as the music is turned down at 12 midnight, however even before this it is not 'blaring'.
Overall we would definately recommend this apartment and hope to return sometime in the future.

Arrived at the CSV on 23 May - at first staff were really helpful, helping us unload luggage from the bus to our room etc. Pestered quite a bit to attend the turkish night, never confirmed with them but on the night they had us a table ready and when we declined they were very rude, from that moment they were ignorant towards us, even though there were 14 of us staying there and we spent alot of money in the hotel!!
Hotel really noisey with a water boiler every morning, really loud!! although out of 10 days we probably only had 4 hot showers!!
The food we did eat in the hotel was reasonable for the price.
Rooms very basic, 1 sheet on bed, lumpy pillows.
Ok i suppose for a budget holiday!!
