well we stayed at the salhan apartments for 2 weeks it was a lovely place and very clean. Are rooms were spotloss and had watever you needeed also the 2 cleaners came in everyday and tidy for you.The people who run salhan are so friendly and helpfull and are always there if you need them. There is a long road and the salhan apartments are on it on this road there is a varity of shops, beauty shops, resturants ect and if you carry on walking for another 15 minutes you will find yourself in the main area hisaronu. we didnt like the main hisaronu because all there was is clubs and really hetic so we stayed at are apartments most night and played pool.It is a wonderfull and most fantastic place to stay in wether you are a family or couple.I think were be heading back next year:)

Rooms are small, beds are uncomfortable and very hard, you can't sleep very well, loud music until late morning, isolated, long way from the town, bar prices are expensive, the women who is running the hotel wants to rip off you.I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The Sal Han apartments were light, spacious & very clean. Lots of space & storage. Views of the pool & mountains from our balcony. Tha staff were fantastic & could not have been nicer. Great pool side & the waterslides were also great. The apartments are set in beautiful gardens with fruit trees & there was also a childrens playground. There are resident Chickens & a Peacock wandering about which we found charming, although we could hear them in our apartment it did not disturb us. The restaurant was fabulous situated under Olive trees & the food was delicious. I could praise the place all day because it was just what we hoped for & we will definately be going back next year.

i only came back from turkey a week ago and still cry because i miss it so much. The hotel staff were lovely always helpful. if there was a problem which there rarely was, they would apologize and sort it immediately. The staff would always come over and ask how your holiday was going and if there was anything they could do. the apartments weren't the best but were fine to stay in. we had a lovely view of the hotel pool and water slides. yes it was next door to a grave yard which was abit of a put off. but you couldnt see it because the hotel is surrounded my trees. the views were amazing of the mountains and sites. me and my friends are already planning on booking are next holiday to Turkey and are definitely staying at Salhan Apartments again. It is suitable to family as well. there are water slides and a children's play area. Fantastic place, i would highly recommend it.

It was a cheap holiday, staff were very nice and polite, pools and slides very good gardens well kept, rooms were very poor, and it felt like l had slept on a sideboard for two weeks. We got what we paid for would not go back again due to the rooms. The kitchen sink fell out on the second day no-one came to see if we were ok, and waited about 2 hours for it to be fixed.

hi. we went and stayed two week self catering in september 2009 last year.
it was a family of four. two adults and two children.
when we first got there we were placed in our apartment and then got moved the next day because there was a mistake.we wernt very happy about it.also every night we got worken up by the mosque at 5 o clock in the morning.
and the chickens and cockerels went off not long after that so you were basically awake from 5 onwards.
some of the staff were friendly.
our bed broke, and we had to get a new one, the food their was ok priced but was ok standard.
we payed £20 each for a barbeque for one night which was horrible.
the hotel closed at 11oclock at night and there was no entertainment. so we just spent our night in hisaronu town or fethiye or olu deniz but when we got back it was allways quiet.
every time we wanted to go on the waterslides we had to ask to turn them on, and even then they only put them on for a short while and when kids were still playing on them, they just turned them off. there was allways loads of bugs in the waterslide pool.
i wouldnt go to this hotel again because lack of entertainment, and i would want it to be a bit more closer to the town. but overall i would recommend turkey because it lovely.

The Salhan Apartments are very spacious and cleaned regularly. Beds are comfortable and there is adequate bedroom furnishing to accommodate a small families clothing. Staff are more than friendly, they make you feel nothing is too much trouble. The on-site restaurant is excellent, we dined there 3 times. Swimming pool lovely along with views. Kitchen equipment could be improved upon but as we ate out this didn't worry us, as long as there was a kettle we were happy.
The owner's sister ran a boat day trip excursion. The experience was truly worth it. We were collected at the reception, taken to the harbour and returned to the apartments at the end of the day. £10.00 per person including food! This trip is not broadcasted because it is not an official Tour Operator excursion, so just ask at reception because anyone can go.
Re Thomson excursions - do not book up the check-out Dalyan cruise. Information very misleading. The idea is that you end up near the airport to save the hassle of a fairly long journey, but we were worn out by a military style schedule and being ordered about every 30 minutes. The hotel they take you to at the end would only suit someone who is very hungry and likes deep fried food that was once a living animal (we couldn't tell which though!)

before i start ranting i have been to turkey loads of times infact was there only 7 weeks ago so i know wot turkey is all about. this hotel should be done for false advertising on their website, the rooms were falling apart, bedding dirty, we was self catering waited 4 days for a cooker and when we did try to use it it blew all the fuses in the room floor had holes in it the balcony was a death trap. are u getting the picture !! it states on the website that all rooms had pool or mountain views well if u call looking into sumone's bedroom in the houses faces you a mountain view!!! we had no view of the pool or mountain unless we broke our necks to look over balcony which was unsafe, the window sill inside was broken. the drawers to keep untenils had fallen apart. the utensils apart from knives forks were all broken or had no handles and my idea of a holiday is not being woken up every morning with a screaming baby who was put out in a buggy , there is peoples houses next to his hotel this hotel is right on the main road it is noisy and it also next door to a grave yard there was no fountain or pond no table tennis hadnt had bats or balls for 3 months and the reduced entry to the aqua park is about ten pounds a day per person the restuarant is a rip off £3.50 for an english breakfast the prices are all in english but they charge u in lira the staff are freindly enoff but speak little english the only good thing about this hotel is the 3 aqua slides u have been warned dont go here .

Fantastic, warm and friendly. We stayed at Salhan in October 2007 for 10 days and enjoyed it so much we went back with more family, 8 of us with an age range from 6 to 70. Lovely location up in the mountains, so even when it is really hot there is a slight breeze, but minutes by taxi to Fethiye, Hisaronu or Olu Deniz
Polat and his family who run this and the larger sister hotel down the road (The Grand Ucel) cannot do enough for you as is the case for all the staff at Salhan. The kids had a wonderful time either playing in the gardens, pool or on the three aqua slides (although the adults enjoyed those to) and when they wanted a little more fun we went to the Aqua park at the sister hotel. It is very safe and you can let the kids get on with there own thing without worry as all the staff keep an eye on them. There is always fruit ready to be picked and eaten around the gardens whether it is Mulberry's, plums, grapes or the kids loved the pomegranates (the kids had a few in October).
The rooms are bright, clean and our two bed apartment was huge, the cleaners are great often leaving flower petals on the beds once made. We chose to include breakfast which was warm and prepared to order each morning, even the kids enjoyed the Turkish breakfast.
Although trips can be booked in Hisaronu we found it easier to book these through the family at the hotel, they have all the best contacts and one of the relatives has a lovely Boat for day trips and the food on board was excellent. The Restaurant is very good but to be fair we did not have a bad meal in the two weeks we were there regardless of where we ate, try the Fish market in Fethiye and Yalcins on the way into Hisaronu. Shopping is also worthwhile so do not go with a full baggage load. Jewellery is an excellent buy, we bought a lovely ring for my wife's birthday at Desire Jewellery about two thirds of the way through Hisaronu. No pressure, we chose the stones and style on the Monday and went back to have a look at it on the Thursday, it was around a third of the price that we were going to pay in the UK.
Getting around is easy by either Dolmus (minibus) or we chose to use Taxi as there were 8 of us. Booked through the hotel they will drop you off and arrange to pick you up at a set time, or we took a card and rang the driver when we were ready to be picked up.
Now we have been to Salhan twice we almost feel like family and our kids have firm friends there so it will not be long before we go back.

I stayed at the Blue Pearl Hotel and apartments last year and it is the first time ever I didn't get bitten by mosquitoes. Also the first visit to Turkey.
The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The maid left some beautiful flowers on the bed one day. I was there on my own for the first two days and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The meals were the best especially the Kebab. Every morning the chef cooked me a boiled egg specially even though I hadn't requested it, and in the evening they brought me these delicious starters and a dessert even though I'd only ordered a main course so they must have thought I needed feeding up!
The pool is wonderful and it was very peaceful and quiet when I was there, with a fantastic view of Babadag mountain where you can see the hangliders coming down.
It was a 5 min walk into the busy resort of Hisoranu where there are plenty of restaurants and bars and shops. There's a huge market on a Monday which sells everything and you can haggle a bit. There is a bus which runs every five mins or so to take you to Olu Dinez beach which is the best beach ever and you can pay a little bit to go to the blue lagoon further along but I didn't go there myself.
When my friends arrived we booked some excursions and I highly recommend the 6 islands cruise where you get food included in the price, I recommend the trout. I also loved the jeep safari it was great, although I probably wouldn't go on it if I had young children as it does travel very fast and there's no seat belt but I never felt unsafe just exhilarated. My favourite stop was the trout farm, it was like paradise with streams and greenery everywhere, here we also had food which was very tasty. I recommend the trout again.
I'm going back to the Blue Pearl this year and cant wait. I'm going to try the turkish bath this time! Oh and we had a traditional turkish night of dancing and belly dancing it was great fun.

We booked a last minute holiday at the Blue pearl apartments.. We consider ourselves so lucky to have picked the Blue Pearl. What a lovely place, the accomodation was perfect, spacious, clean and amazingly great value for money. All staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. Mermet, as it appears in other reviews, was a star!! The pool was delightful. clean and great fun with the water slide. Weather beautiful as were the surroundings. Everything close to hand, Olu Deniz, with its beautiful beach a short bus journey away, so much to see and do in this lovely country, and unfortunately not enough time for us to do all that we wanted, therefore what better reason for us to plan to return next year. If anyone is considering a holiday in Turkey you simple cant go wrong if you chose Blue Pearl.. The Turkish people are a credit, polite, friendly and helpful. A simply superb holiday. We self catered at the Salhan aparts, which were basic, but comfortable and very clean.A lovely cleaner came in daily, fresh towels and she even did our washing up if we hadn't had time! The staff were friendly and helpful, eventhough they work very long hours. Its a pleasant 15 mins walk from Hisaronu, with a lovely local bakery on route for fresh bread for breakfast.Although we self catered,we mostly ate at the Salhan aparts or at one of the many local restaurants, which were all so friendly and willing to cook pretty much what you asked for{two children who are fussy when it comes to unfamiliar cuisine!}It was never too busy by the pool and the slides were a real hit with kids and adults.
