Blue Pearl Hotel and Apartments

I have just returned from the Blue Pearl after staying there with my daughter 24 to 29 Aug 07. The staff made us more than welcome and we felt part of a very close family. Mine the hotel manager was always on hand to assist in any quiries and even went out of her way to book day trips. Menhmet the bar manager was very profesional and ensured that meals, drinks and entertainment were always of a very high standard, just a shame he will be leaving to go into the Turkish armed forces when the hotel closes at the end of this season. I and my daughter were so impressed that for next year we are thinking seriously of going back to the Blue Pearl for a 2 week break. Well done to all the staff and i hope all those other guests i met the Courtny and Carroline got back to the UK safely.

This was our second visit to the Blue Pearl. We stayed in the hotel rooms last time and were really impressed with the whole experience. This time I booked directly with Mine, the owner. She was really helpful and able to accommodate any dates in the summer so I could pick the best flights. We stayed in an apartment. They were spotless and the facilities great. Linen changed at least 4 times over the two weeks and the towels soft and comfy. Able to do some basic cooking even a couple of evening meals!

Memet was still there (although off to do his army service in Nov) He was so good with the children and made the holiday. We met lots of really nice people around the pool. Fab bbq on two of the days we were there. The chef excelled himself and the food was delicious. Hisaronu is about 10 mins away if you like that type of thing - a couple of good restaurants to recommend The Festival and The Olive tree. Fethiye is alot more real Turkey and some excellent restaurants to recommend including The Birlik Lokanta, The Megri and The Duck Pond.

An altogether wonderful holiday. A great base to see that part of Turkey. Enjoy!

We have just returned from a 2 week family holiday at the Blue Pearl. The Apartments were fab. Spotless, plenty of room and great location. The staff are very friendly, especially Mehmet the barman. He was brill with the kids, unfortunately this is his last year. The pool is a good size and we all loved the slide. The apartments are about 10 minutes walk from the main tourist shops, bars and restaurants and even an Azda, but there are a few shops restaurants and small supermarkets about 3 min walk. The beach is about 10 min on the bus. I can thoroughly recommend the 12 Island boat trip but would recommend you go for one with drinks all included in the price. If you do the cheaper ones wihout drinks included they will sting you on the price on the boat. The hotel foyer advertises one which is including drinks for 15.00. The other trip to go on is the Jeep Safari. Brilliant.

We all wanted to stay another week. Would definately return.

our kids love the staff and the owners, we cant emagine going on holiday other places.

This hotel is the true meaning of a perfect holiday, nice people and a great restaurant not to forget the nice barman mehmet"SWEETHEART" but hurry down there hes just there this year.

we cant find any negativ to say about this place, we can say it is like a second home to us now, and will no matter what always have a speciel place in our hearts.

oohh yes one negative thing is, nomatter how long u stay the holiday is always finish to soon......

We have just returned from our stay at the Blue Pearl. The apartments are immaculate and were cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided too. We were suprised that this hotel only received three stars as it exceeded our expectations, having booked over the internet. The people were lovely and really made us feel welcome. Hisaronou is within close proximity to the complex, only 10-15 mins walk away where you can find an abundance of bars and restauants to suit all tastes. However, it was nice to return to our quieter surroundings after hitting the town. Olu Denis and Fethiye can be reached on the dolmus (15 minutes). Only 2.50 turkish Lira (£1). An evening meal with soft drinks was averaging around £12! We found Turkey brilliant value for money. Would definitely recommend the 12 islands boat trip, brilliant day out! Be sure to have £10 sterling upon arrival at the airport for your visa (90 days) to get into the country. (We got caught out!) The Blue Pearl is suitable for families, couples and groups! we stayed here in June 05 and were disappointed, the staff were very unhelpful and the pool area not clean. We found human excrement in the pool and the staff did not want to clean it up, just fished it out and did not close the pool to clean it, over the full 2 weeks we were there we never saw the pool cleaned at all. Our 2 children ended up ill for 5 days of our 2 week stay and this can only be put down to the state of the pool.

Appartments were reasonably equiped but could have been kept cleaner.

The Salhan apartments couldn't be situated in a more perfect location, a short dolmus ride from both olu deniz and fethiye and just a short walk from the resort centre of hisaronu.

The staff at the apartments made us feel like we were the only guests there making themselves available at all times no matter what time of day or night. The food was second to none and the rooms clean and comfortable, cleaned daily.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and the whole family made you feel at home. So if you’re looking for a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle then this is the one THE SALHAN.

We went to the travel agents not a clue as to where we wanted to go, we were asked how about Turkey then we were shown The Salhan Apartments we were hooked, booked it there and then so glad we did.

All the staff were fantastic, the apartment was lovely and clean and the food was brilliant. Overall the whole holiday experience was 10/10. We came home on 11/08/06 tired but with beautiful memories of a wonderful country and people. We went to book for next year

Can't wait. We will certainly tell people if they want a holiday then Turkey is the place and Salhan is the place to stay.

We have just returned from a week at the Blue Pearl in Ovacik, Fethiye, Turkey. 4 of us stayed in two separate self-catering apartments which were roomy enough and spotless. The hotel is family run with only 10 apartments (like ours) and 14 hotel rooms. On-site facilities are more than adequate given its proximity to Fethiye, Hisaronu and Olu Deniz. It has an intimate balcony restaurant, with food prepared to a very good standard. It also has its own bar with adjacent billiards, table tennis and darts plus decent sized pool with a jacuzzi area and water slide. However, there is nothing even remotely 'kiss-me-quick' about this place, which feels more 4 star than 3.

The staff are incredibly willing to please and all very friendly, as are the owners who work hard at making your stay as good as it can be. To be honest, that's our experience of the Turkish people in general - based on this, our first visit.

As a 3 star, I'd highly recommend this to anyone. We're certainly highly likely to go back again. Great for families with young children too, I imagine.
