Colon II Apartments

Just returned from a fantastic week in Tenerife and the Apartment Colon 2 was just perfect. Very clean, immaculate and well decorated. The maids worked all day, everyday and even did the dishes!
The swimming pool was great, very clean and beside it was a great bar with lovely chicken sandwiches only 3 euros!! The kids spent all day there. Sun beds were available to use. We has a 2 bed roomed apartment on the 4th floor (top floor) and is was so spacious. The balcony was massive with a table, 6 chairs and even 4 sun loungers to use. Lovely view of the mountains.
The complex with situated only a few minutes from the sea front. I would highly recommend a trip to Loro Parc where they have Orca Whales, dolphins and many other animals it was a great day.
Our rep Stephen was great very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a quiet, clean place to stay close the beach and walking distance to many other attractions. I will definitely be going again.
Oh yes we went Oct 17th-24th and temperature topped 32 degrees!

Brilliant holiday, we got this holiday as a last minute deal, so were not sure what to expect, but we were extremely impressed.
The apartments were very modern and clean. (Brilliant cleaners, never stopped, even did our washing up!). The only bad thing I could say is we could have done with air con in the apartment, and the pool was salt water, which although good for environment, is not as nice to swim in. But minor details, really. All the reception and bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect location, just in centre of resort, but not in the very centre with all the noise.
Mostly coupes in hotel too, so quiet at night. The resort was brilliant too, very good nightlife, big thanks to Adele, the shot girl! :) Brilliant trips organised by Thompson’s, and a big thanks to Jon, our rep!

Just arrived back from Tenerife and decided the first thing I had to do was to put a comment on holiday watchdog! These apartments are fantastic, they are spotlessly clean and have a daily maid service.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - within walking distance of the local beach, bars and clubs etc. But fair enough away that you do not have excessive noise pollution late at night! Had delicious meals every night in various restaurants locally to the apartments. I would recommend the food in Tony Roma's and also Sugar and Spices - yum!
Must also mention the fantastic staff in Linekers bar - what a team! They made every night such a laugh - thanks guys! And also a special thanks to Jon our Thompson rep - thanks for all your help mate! All in all a great holiday!

Just arrived back and as promised this is the best apartment we have ever been to.
Totally clean throughout with very friendly staff and a warm welcome the cafe is also to a very high standard with the excellent food and service and well priced.
The bar down stairs was also very well run and again reasonably priced. With the apartments in the very heart of everything and with very little noise I cannot recommend the apartments too highly.

Just got back from staying here and will be returning next year to stay in these apartments. We could not fault the accommodation or the staff! It was all I wanted from my holiday and more. The apartments are clean and have a great maid service, pool and area is clean and kept spotless everyday. There is a lovely cafe at the front which serves ice-cream, milkshakes and the best coffees in Tenerife. The complex is safe and secure and has 24hr CCTV which makes your holiday more relaxed.
The location is fantastic right in the middle and in a quiet part of Tenerife so ideal for restaurants, drinking, beach, shops and local market.
We booked with Thomson and had a fab trouble free holiday. Flight was excellent and the food onboard, no hassle and plenty of excursions available to those interested. Also there was always a rep around if required. Loro Parque is a must to see the Seal, Dolphin and new Killer Whale shows.
You have to visit the Chinese Slow Boat restaurant, Teppanyaki and also if you are looking for a friendly British Bar then a visit to Alex's bar is a must! The food is fab in Alex's (me being a vegetarian they catered for all my needs) and the staff are so friendly you will just keep going back! It has cheap drink and kept spotless also, this is just a short walk from the Colon 2 apartments and the beach, they do a mean all day breakfast. The staff are lovely and it will feel like your local straightaway.
If you are going to Tenerife this is the place to stay I can not fault Colon 2 or Thomson, it is a must!

The Colon 2 was within easy access of everything and only a 30 second walk to 'The Patch' The rooms were comfortable, really clean (maids came in every day!) and it was quiet. The pool was lovely and this area was also cleaned every night. There is a restaurant on site - Mama Rosa which we tried once and there was also a pub which was quiet but cool plus the barman was really friendly.
Reception was 24 hours and all of the staff were great. I much preferred staying in this area of Las Americas because it is out of the centre and you don’t have to go near Veronicas if you don’t want to. We found a gorgeous restaurant situated between Los Cristianos and Americas called Little Italy (there is a chain of these I think but this was without a doubt the best one).
Plenty of restaurants, bars (of all types) and shops around. Beach and promenade only 2 minutes away. Great holiday, great weather and fab apartments!

We Stayed at the Colon II in Dec for 4 nights, It was very clean and friendly staff who were very helpful.
The Colon II is Close to all Bars and Restaurants very central. So good we are away back this Feb 2006 for 10 nights.
The location of the colon II is good as there is a local traditional and friendly bar across the road THE BELL which the hosts Kate and John will help you with anything and arrange things for you.
The rooms in the Colon II were spacious and Clean the refurbishment of this Complex has turned it into a very nice place to stay so if you are looking for somewhere different and central then I suggest the Colon II.

Very clean apartments which were newly refurbished in 2005. The maid services are excellent, rooms are large, modern and spacious.
It is used by families, young couples and young fun seekers, however there is a very calm and friendly atmosphere around the pool area.
The location is excellent as it is close to the clubs and bars yet there is very little noise pollution. There are also a good range of eateries close by. Overall Good value for £400pp SC in August.

Modern and clean apartments situated in an ideal location. Excellent service by the maids. Was a pleasure to stay here, The staff were friendly at all times, and the security there made you feel safe at night. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.
