The Nostros studios were laid back from a road overlooking olive groves. The rooms were simple and basic and reasonably equipped. It was about what we expected. The main drawback staying here was the location as it was situated at the back of the resort. It was therefore an 15 minutes walk to the beach and slighly less to the nearest tavernas and mini markets.
The resort is a beach lovers paradise for couples wanting a laid back holiday. One major factor put a dampener on our holiday which is reflected in the points we awarded it. There was an infestation of wasps around and they were especially bad in the evening. Eating out was a problem and I got stung 3 times and my husband 4 times even with putting on insect repellent.This was a major issue for us. We understand this is an ongoing problem and is the main reason we would not return to Golden Beach.
