I went to the Hotel Gold in Bled in Feb 05. The hotel was very good, especially for the price, the pool, gym etc were all open and of an excellent standard. It is very near to the bottom of a ski lift and the lake, which is beautiful. The problems that the first review details were all solved and I'd recommend this hotel to any family or couple looking for either a chilled out, relaxing time or a good base for an activity holiday.
