Very pleasant hotel, nice setting, friendly staff and excellent food - very varied and something for everyone. Fair prices and good service. Rooms small, but who cares when you´re out to enjoy the stunning beach at Öludeniz. Highly recommended

Unadulterated Peace
Just returned from a two week stay . Well placed in Olu Deniz , just a short walk from shops and beach .Staff super friendly and really could not do enough for you ! Breakfast simple and healthy . Look ten years younger after two visits to the local hamam for the turkish baths !Great restaurants nearby and super delicious food to suit everyone . Already want to book again . We will exchange currency at resort next visit as you got a much better exchange there than at home.
Simply the BEST
Everyone has different experiences when on hoilday, mines was simply perfect at Perdikia Hotel. Supported by a group of 5, we chose Perdika as the travel agent promised a beautiful, secluded resort with excellent service and just minutes away from the beach and nightlife.. ..They delivered perfectly. The hotel is simply stunning for those who wish to keep private and who just wish to relax. The staff, from the bar staff, reception, cleaners and resturant crew are simplt fantastic and are always available near by if ever needed. The turkish night hosted by the hotel itself was so much fun and gives guests a true taste of turkish culture rather then simply catering to the tourists, which is what hoildays are about, experiencing other lifestyles and cultures. Prices at the bar are extremely reasonable compared to the bars outside on the sea front by far. Our room was on the 2nd floor, behind the bar and pool, which had a spectacular view of the mountains. The rooms are small, however, our hoilday was about exploring, so a shower and a bed to sleep in was all we needed. The hotel was always clean in general. The sea front is only a 5min walk where you will find all the resturants, shops and nightclubs also. We recommend Cruso's, Help Lounge and Buzz Bar for great evening atmosphere and lovely cocktails! We would also recommend to have a Turkish Bath before you leave, simply heaven! Overall, our experince at Perdikia Hotel - Olu Deniz was amazing and we would recommend it to those who wish to explore and appreciate Turkey for its pure beauty! We would recommend Perdika and are in the process of planing dates to go back. A week simply wasnt enough!!! Serena June'08
Sssh, don't tell everyone about this fab hotel!
My friend and I have just returned from 1 week stay in the Hotel Perdikia in Olu Deniz, I felt compelled to write as I believe that it has had some bad press. The hotel was lovely, we were in a "basement" otherwise known as ground floor room with a view of the pool, the room was clean and had adequate storage facilities (2 wardrobes, 2 chests of drawers and some other shelving) which is important for 2 girls on holiday! The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they all remembered your names after just a couple of days. The food was delicious and whilst the starter buffett and desserts did't vary much the main courses did not disappoint! The proximity to the village as it is called and the sea front is excellent, just a couple of minutes stroll and you are in the centre whilst off the main drag so you don't hear any of it whilst in the hotel. If you like small, friendly and excellent located hotels this is the one for you, we would definitely go back :-)
Lousy Hotel
We spent 10 days at the the Padikia, at the same time as the Glaswegian Family Wedding/Holiday and returned home Friday 28th Sept 07. Oludeniz is a fantastic resort but this hotel was awful. My wife and I found all of the staff rude with the exception of the reception staff who were great. It may be that we only wanted B & B and refused to upgrade to half board as urged to do so by the Resteraunt manager, or that they were more interested in the income coming in at the bar from the wedding group that we were treated as incidentals. The room was on the ground floor looking directly onto the pool table and bar, some of the more inconsiderate guests liked to play pool until 4am, and one night one of the females of the wedding party spent from midnight until 4am arguing outside our balcony and window with a guest from her party using just about every profane 4 letter swear word under the sun or moon as it was at the time. We never bothered to complain, as we felt it would have been a fruitless exercise. The room was like a dungeon. We used the safe in the room locked the door whenever we left it, yet the cleaners would leave the windows open whenever they came in, so security of our belongings were compromised. We most certainly would never use or recommend this Hotel to anyone. Last year we stayed in the same resort but at the Marcan Beach Hotel and that was absolutaly fantastic unfortunatly we coud not get in there this year, but if ever we go back to Oludeniz then we would rather stay in a tent than use this damned Perdikia Hotel. Don't stay there.
Brilliant Staff
We went to Oludeniz as a group for a wedding, c. 25 of us, and the staff at the Pedikia could not have been more helpful of friendly. The rep from the travel co was non-existent and the wedding co-ordinator only turned up the day before the wedding! If it hadn't been for Oz, the restaurant manager, the wedding would have been a disaster. He did so much to help, well beyond his duties, ensuring that in the end, all ended well. Well done Oz! The rest of the staff were helpful and friendly, getting to know us on a first name basis. The Perdikia is not a large hotel, only sum 60 rooms, this made for a relaxing and peaceful time. Yes the rooms are small compared to Cyprus and Spain, but this is the norm for most accomodation in Turkey. Overall, a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday, the resort of Oludeniz being one of the most beautiful places I have been.
Great Hotel
I was sorry to read of World Travellers review of the Perdikia. He does make it sound wretched!! BUT to try to balance the books I will recount of a totally different PERDIKIA experience just one month before . It was last month of June and there were record temperatures for our first visit to Turkey. We were enticed to the Perdikia by the promise of a small friendly Hotel and so it proved to be. Yes, the (bedroom)shower area was not the largest but extremely efficeint and arent holidays supposed to be fun!! Our room was on the second floor overlooking the pool and dining area with the beautiful hillside and glorious flowers above and below us.The balcony though compact was big enough to sit out on and enjoy that view. The pool and poolside were immaculately presented and the attention of the staff was just perfect . Never in your face but always available to serve drinks, provide meals( do try the pancakes, fanatstic! BUT if you like Cooked English Breakfast go to Blackpool!) and wheel around the afternoon tea and cakes! Indeed all the staff were brilliant throughout for all of our needs/. Entertainment is limited (which was a particular reason we chose it) a BBQ night around the pool with Russian dancers in exotic costumes and a beautuful Turkish Belly Dancer, just right! The Hotels location within the resort we regarded as simply the best..only 4 mins walk to the "strip" of restaurants and bars but far enough away to have and enjoy its own privacy, seclusion and quiet. A walk to the Blue Lagoon took only 15 minutes and to the beach less than 5. Another feature of the Hotel was the mix of nationalities, bringing almost a dozen different languages to the meal tables.. Word is that there will be a major refurbishment before the 2008 season.. I hope that if it happens its charm will be retained and fot those very rare days when not all goes well its "plumbing is made 100% secure for allcomers A lovely Hotel and great value for money",
The worst hotel I have stayed in. Tiny room, sewage coming out of the bathroom
I don’t usually write reviews but our experience at the Perdikia hotel was so bad that it would be unfair not to warn others. The hotel is not value for money. My girlfriend and I stayed for four nights and despite paying a not inconsiderable amount for our stay, we were placed in a room that resembled a prison cell. It was tiny, in the basement, and had minimal natural light. We had asked for a double room but were disappointed to find that we had been given two single beds which we had to push together as best they would fit. The bedding on each was awful. The bathroom was a joke. The shower cubicle was a tiny box, and when turned on, it leapt off the wall and started writhing around violently. It was like an uncontrollable hose, which given that the shower cubicle was so small meant that you kept getting hit by the shower head in the face. Not a pleasant experience. The hotel is ill-equipped to deal with rain. One afternoon there was a half hour downpour which flooded our room. The worst part was what looked like sewerage spilling out of the bathroom drain and into the wardrobe/main room. We had to ask twice to be relocated to another room that had escaped the flooding. Finally we were moved to another tiny room, with single beds and the same violent shower. The good news was there was no sewerage in this one. This hotel is just not value for money. I would certainly not recommend it for elderly holiday goers who may find the small bathroom very difficult to manoeuvre in. Nor would I recommend it for children which could be seriously injured by the shower. As for couples, forget it. I would recommend Oludeniz. The beach and surroundings are wonderful, the people are friendly and the food at a number of restaurants there was excellent. Nice place just don’t stay at the dungeon like Perdikia hotel.
Dont go in the basement.
The resort is great as is Turkey and I would highly reccomend both. The hotel though was not. We were in a room on the lower level of the hotel or what I would call the basement. It was so small and had only the one wardrobe , the other I think was being used as a bathroom. The water for the shower was constantly cold and the terrace looked directly at a ten foot wall. The door to the terrace was opened easily from outside using a coin when supposedly locked. Worst of all was the damp smell that lingered consantly in the room and the horrible bedding and lack of breakfast. Cheap but not cheerful.
Perdikia
Just returned from the Perdikia where I stayed for 2 weeks. Must admit the room was a bit small but we managed to cope. There is only 1 wardobe for 2 people to share and not much drawer space. The bathroom can only just fit 1 person in! Ended up buying breakfast most days as the hotel didnt provide much choice i.e basic cereal, bread, cheese etc. Hotel staff where very friendly though. The resort was excellent plenty of places to eat and drink with cheerful staff. Paid a visit to the lagoon which great to get away from the buzz of the beach. Not many shops in resort so great to pay a visit to the market in Fethiye and other areas. Would definatly return back again in the future
Perdikia Paradise
Stayed in Hotel Perdikia for 1 week with a friend. Basic room but beautiful hotel. Very clean with well-kept gardens and beautiful pool area. Staff were lovely, very helpful, even when I got locked out my room in the middle of the night!!! Perfect location, near the action but not noisey at night (mind you that was a quiet part of the season). Met a big family who had been so pleased with their last visit to Perdikia that they had returned. Also saw variety of couples/families of different ages and nationalities. Basic but nice restaurant. Olu Deniz is a little pricey, but in my opinion well worth it for the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff in all restaurants/bars. You can travel easily to Hisaronu or Fethiye for cheaper shopping etc. Was so chuffed with holiday am already planning my return!
