just returned from olu deniz, had agreat time but for the hotel we stayed in which was hotel turk, the area was fantastic,so close to everything, did not need to venture far. hotel turk is more of one star if you was to rate it ,the problem is the rooms so small, and the bathroom was terrible ,it was an ordeal just to take a shower, black mould on the shower walls ,shower head hanging off no where to hang it,so you had to hold it over you, plus it flooded numerous times, had to ask for hand towels as there was none in room, light bulbs missing ,handles off draws missing and the pillows were badly stained.we did mention the problems with other guests, and we think it got back to lillie the owner as she then ignored us ,she only had time for guests who were spending money at the bar or on food at the hotel,it was also very clicky .we will be going back to olu deniz but not the turk hotel..

Just spent over a week at the Turk Hotel, very nice 2-3 star hotel, staff nice and friendly. My room was lovely, and had a balcony with bouganvilia cascading down really pretty. My daughter had a room which was more or less in the basement, it was clean and serviceable, but was dark as you had to go down steps to get to it and had a yard which was enclosed by a wall. Above the wall was the kitchen and restaurant so that guests eating in the restaurant could see you in your room and in your yard. Plus the kitchen was just near by and there was a wonderful view of a large bag of onions!! But putting this aside, the hotel was wonderful and my daughter was moved to a much better room after the second day. She could see daylight!! A lovely relaxing holiday in a good hotel in a beautiful resort.
You can`t go wrong with this one!

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Olu Deniz and had a wonderful time! We booked through an online company so did not really have a lot of information on the hotel but thankfully we picked well! We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by Lilly and Hussain who ran the hotel! We waited in the bar whilst the finishing touches were made to our room. Air conditioning was not included in the price but is available at 3 pounds per day, we decided not to have it but if you are not good with the heat i suggest taking it as it was extremely warm (even at night)! The safe in the room was 10 pounds per week. The room was basic but personally we spend very little time in our room so it was all we needed. It was spotless, the cleaners worked very hard and we seemed to have new towels every day!!!! We spent our first evening in the hotel bar, it has a nice atmosphere as long as you dont mind putting up with Rambo the barman! No, Rambo was very good fun and looked after us extremely well. We stuck to drinking beer whilst on holiday as we did find the spirits expensive, even locally produced. A large beer was about 4 YTL and spirits started at 7.50 YTL - 12YTL depending on where you are drinking. Do ask the prices before you order, we had a shock one night to be charged 10 pounds for 2 gin and tonics in the local nightclub!!! Breakfast in the hotel was good, a little boring after 2 weeks but from experience it is the same throughout all hotels. You could help yourself to toast, jams, tomatoes/cucumber, cheeses etc. If you wanted cooked breakfast it was possible at a small extra charge. The food in the hotel was very good, fresh and extremely cheap in comparison to some of the restaurants by the beach. Try the mixed fried vegetables and garlic/mint yoghurt - yummy! If I was to return to Olu Deniz I would definetly stay in the hotel turk again!
Brilliant!

We just got back from Oludeniz and stayed in the Turk hotel. We had a great time. The staff were very friendly, Lily and Rambo and the staff made us feel very welcome. We had a terrible time getting there with Onor air (shockingly bad customer service, our plane was 11 hours late and no one gave us any update, no food vouchers, no drink vouchers and no announcements. Terrible!) and when we arrived we forgot all about our ordeal getting there and just relaxed by the pool and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I would certainly reccomend this hotel and will go back some day.
The girls!

We had our first Turkish Holiday in July this year and stayed at the Turk Hotel. The rooms although small were spotlessly clean. Lilly and her Husband were perfect hosts. I was unfortunate to break my leg in one of the markets at the end of the first week. When I returned from my four days stay in Hospital. I was looked after so well by Lilly and all her staff. The food we ate was really good and prepared well by the chef. Nothing was too much trouble for the whole team. I want to say a big thank you to everyone at the Turk Hotel and hopefully we will return next year to have a full two weeks without any mishaps. Barbara Dolby
very friendly! 4th time visiting now!

The first time we went to the hotel turk was in june 2002. Me and my family, had a lovely time this time and have enjoyed our stay there every time we have travelled. It is a family run hotel and all the staff are friendly and very helpfull. The last time we were there was july 2005, and when we went over there we took clothing and stuff from england for the manager lilly as she had just had her first child. we still keep in contact with her, they arranged our transferes from the hotel with no fuss. This hotel is great value for money, all though the rooms are basic they are clean and well presented. The hotel is a great location from the beach and all the local bars and resturants, and a 10 minuet walk form the beautifal blue lagoon, which was amazing, but does get busy so get there early. we have stayed in a couple of places in Turkey, but oul deniz is the one place we go back to year to year. I would recomend this hotel, for people who want to be near everything in a small and quiet hotel, family run, fabulous holiday year after year.
just back and still glowing !!

My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous week in Oludeniz where through recommendation of our daughter who is a travel agent we stayed at this Hotel. It is a very basic but very clean and extremely friendly hotel. The hotel is ideally situated in Oludeniz with everything you need within 10 minutes walk. 15 mins away from the lovely Blue Lagoon Beach. There are many superb restaurants and we ate out every night trying the Turkish menu as well as the varied steak houses, pizzerias etc. All were reasonanble, best value was ,as always, off the beaten track. Wine was a little more expensive than we would have hoped with prices little different to UK. We will be going again next year and shall stay at the Turk hotel, it is ideal for a basic stay, we never found the pool crowded, you could help yourself to any drink from the cabinet and settle up at the end of the day, which meant that you did not need to keep money with you by the pool. lily the owner/manager could not do enough for us, including washing if required and arranged many trips for us through her own friends, thus giving us the best prices. Bar meals here were very good and reasonable as was the cake man who delivered the most fantastic cakes every day at about 5pm. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone who wishes a basic, comfortable stay within a friendly atmosphere, visions of their 2 year old daughter Ikra bellydancing for us willl remain with us forever.
Small but certainly not friendly!!

We have just returned from a week, staying at the Hotel Turk Oludeniz. The resort is fabulous but I must say we were less than impressed with this hotel. The initial shock upon arrival was the room size. The photos we had seen were obviously shot in a complimentary light as the rooms are absolutley tiny and very basic. There were light fittings hanging dangerously loose by the wire and the decor was very poor, having been painted without the removal of all the light fixtures, skirting and curtain rails etc as these had all been partly painted on. The balcony overlooked a dumping ground for old chairs, rubbish, old light fittings, the back of a market stall and even a knife. We had paid for bed and breakfast, however, breakfast consisted of bread, jam or cheese and if we wanted scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, beans etc we had to pay extra. Poor show. The pool was overcrowded and cluttered with toys and the sun loungers were loud garish colours giving this hotel a British holiday camp feel. Having said that, the resort is beautiful and as a result we spent most of our time away from the hotel. This, however, elicited a complaint from the staff on our final night which we found offensive. I highly recommend the resort, it is beautiful with lots to do but I would never reccomend or return to the Hotel Turk.

A very friendly hotel run by the owner and family, The hotel is near to the beach and on top of the night life. We visit the hotel when we are in the area and the family make us welcome.
